Overall, this has been a relatively uneventful year for Hydra. With the exception of the past few months, the only other thing we have had to deal with was a change in the government structure. Many of our founding fathers are no longer with us, which is usually cause for alarm internally about the strength of the core of the alliance. But in their departure, we have found new people to step up and take their place. Hydra is a young alliance, and I know that with our current membership, and the great allies we have, Hydra will continue to grow. But it is the recent months that have been eventful for Hydra. Hydra has had its first taste of war. First in being able to fight for our friends in NSO against R&R, then to help defend our friends in Olympus against The International. After the war came departure from PEACE, and the loss of our treaty with Valhalla. But in all this, we have found new friends, and remained close to those we have always called friends. Those in SNAFU, OFLC, Invicta, NSO, and Olympus, and now FEAR, NATO, and NAC. We have some of the greatest friends and allies that any could ask for, and I am proud to be their allies. I know I speak for the membership of Hydra when I offer the biggest thank you to our founding fathers. To those who have left and those who have stayed. Without them, Hydra wouldn't be here today. And to our older allies who have stood by us through thick and thin, and to our new allies who hopefully will do the same. We also realized during the Iron Curtain announcement, that there are a lot of people out there who don't know us. I think i got 100k for joining my first alliance in early 07. Newbies now get 3mil+ and tech deals. And maybe even informed to reroll if they get furs and wine... *grumbles*

The second front we joined on in this past war we did willingly and were under no obligation to help Olympus, we wanted to. And then still waited for their blessings to leave. Sounds pretty cowardly of us.

From what I've heard, Empire and Napoleon are pretty much the same game, but you can only play as the French for the campaign in Napoleon. Not sure about multiplayer or anything.

But they aren't going to do anything bad with the title. Trust them.

Least favorite: probably Karma because being 3v1 for a week and only receiving one cruise missile in response makes for a really boring war. Favorite: probably some tech raid i did at least 2 years ago because he fought back and every major conflict i've fought in i haven't been hit back significantly.
