Well, I'm certainly glad to see peace. I guess I was sort of expecting some of the responses in this thread, but I really didn't foresee it being the issue it has become. I stopped reading at page 16 and won't turn back. Valhalla - I didn't know how you guys would behave in this war, so forgive me for saying that I was delightfully surprised at the professionalism, humility, and straight up fun-loving attitude you guys displayed during this conflict. You did well by us in that regard, and while some of you may feel that the terms were still a bit harsh, understand that your behavior was a factor in them being (in our minds) still more lenient than some wanted. It really was a blast to fight. Kudos, I hope we don't have to exchange land and tech again, but if we do at least I know it'll be enjoyable. That's where the praise ends. I don't know much of you beyond that, and some of your history can definitely be troubling. I really hope that as I come to know you better, you won't entirely live up to the notorious aspects of your reputation. Only time will tell. Everyone bickering about the softness of these terms - meh. We engaged Valhalla in coordination with our allies so that they would not suffer the indignity of defeat. With history as our guide, we couldn't assume that our allies would be given terms any different from the harshest Valhalla's dished out in the past. We achieved our goal. If there was one thing we learned from the war on Polaris, it was that we did not enjoy the concept of reparations. That's not to say there isn't a time and place for them - there easily is. But in this conflict, in our encounter with Valhalla and in our direct history with them, this isn't one of those times or places. Just like most of the wars in which there have been reparations shouldn't have. Anyway, it's time for a good night's rest. o/ Umbrella and each of our wonderful allies \o Oh and sup Bill-N-Ted, Kingsuck - it was a true pleasure, you guys were great.

Valhalla is fighting very well. There, I said it, are you happy? I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that Valhalla are doing well for what they are up against. Rather, some are just trying to point at that although a lot of alliances are at war with Valhalla in name, the number of nations actually warring against Valhalla are somewhat less, and most of the nations fighting against Valhalla are engaged with other alliance nations as well. *edit*And I think I just ate my previous words about not discussing this issue any further, .

:lol: Because you're the sole target of each of these alliances. Check who's actually declaring on you guys. The amount of wars actually brought against Valhalla nations so far have been relatively low, with many of your nations remaining completely unharmed. Anyway, I'm not going to argue anymore. All of the Valhalla members I've spoken with have been respectful and fun, and I've quite enjoyed exchanging blows. So, go ahead and mark this one up to you guys fighting insurmountable odds with some ridiculous NS #, the sum of each alliance with just 1 declaration against you, and put that on your wall. It won't change the outcome, and I've still got respect for you guys. *edit* Oh, and welcome to the fray RIA!

Ideally we'd have PB-Valhalla on you guys, because we can't handle any of you. Unlike Valhalla, Umbrella only has fun in stomps where the odds are >10:1. Anyway, the truth is that we don't have enough nations to tango with your lower ranks, and heard that they were getting a bit anxious and bored. Being the good war-hosts that we are, we naturally arranged for this problem to be alleviated. Good luck to the younger vikings who are about to enter a righteously painful world. Come on, you think we'd really want to spoil all of the fun we've been having?
