  1. I was lucky, me and my brother played the game on one network under the good faith rule, when people started abusing this rule it was taken back. He deleted his nation (which was still pretty new) but not long after that he moved, I don't know if he still plays the game but he's like 200 miles away now. Neither of us use AOL and we only share a house once or twice a year for things like Xmas, and during that time I'm going to be way too busy to get onto CN so for 3-4 days I won't be on my nation, I balance 3-4 days of not checking my nation vs getting deleted. However I have logged into my nation at my parents house many times so if he was stupid enough to slip up once and log in at that network I'd tell the mods and I don't see them deleting two nations that to my knowledge have never interacted (i dont know if he still plays) and never will, the mods are fair and don't want to kick out people just for simple mistakes or things out of their control. I've logged in from a few public networks but I took the risk that out of 6bn people and the 30k people playing this game that the odds were in my favor. Simply put, lying to the mods is much more likely to result in an $@! kicking than being upfront and honest with them
  2. Who would you sell a hospital to, or a school, they are buildings in your nation they can't be shipped out. You could sell off the equipment but I mean the cost of demolition vs the sales of books, tables, chairs, rulers etc. Too complicated
  3. Yeh you can't decom deployed troops or tanks, as they are not physically there
  4. Also, there's the fact that there are like 6bn people in this world and about 30k people playing this game. So the odds that someone on your shared network just so happens to play the game is pretty slim
  5. If the odds are below a certain percentage then you send a defeat alert, this can be done once a day. CM's, Nukes, Navy and Aircraft can still be used as normal, but if you have no soldiers then they can only send 1 defeat alert per day
  6. 4 days ago you posted this as well http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?s...c=30939&hl= That might have had something to do with it
  7. Admin is using the one from Wiki here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Flag Which is correct. I know my flag and that one is fine
  8. The Cyber Nations Tournament Edition is currently in alpha testing and is not accepting new registrations at this time. The next public tournament round is slated to begin mid-August. Tournament Round: 2 Next Reset: 8/15/2008
  9. Exactly. If I get 4 bad events I'm much more likely to make a post or a new thread, than if I get a bunch of good events, it's just how it goes
  10. Sometimes it can depend on the thread and the post. So if its a milestone announcement and 6 days later, thread on page 2 and someone says "Hey cool" they're getting a warn If it's a big alliance announcement and 4 days later, another alliance posts another announcement that effects the first one and a group of people start posting in the old thread, mods generally allow it. That happens a lot with DoW threads and resignations, big news and so on
  11. Congratulations you are the 800th person to make a topic like this. Both nations will have been deleted What you do is you make a new nation and tell your brother to never make a new one. My brother knows he can't play, he had an account under the legal multi rule, but when the rules rightfully changed, he deleted his nation because he didn't play it as much as me. A few of my friends play but we make sure we never log in from each others computers.
  12. My first and only event since the change is -$5 income
  13. My first event after the frequency change is -$5 income, it seems most people are getting negative ones, although they are the people who complain more so the only ones we see
  14. You can still send defeat alerts, spy attacks, air attacks and CM's Also "Unfortunately, this guy did not have any military anymore (something you cannot see before declaring war" Yes you can, you can see what their military situation is before attacking
  15. The location of your nation has no baring on anything at all. The nation map is just a bit of fun to say "Hey I've got so much land I new own the whole of the UK" it is also used by bored alliances to make pretty patterns. Where you are located though has nothing to do with in game status, resources, income, anything
  16. The only logical choice if you want stable trades is blue, the biggest blue alliance is NpO, so the best alliance to join is NpO. See, simple logic
  17. I agree with the guy who agreed with the other guy
  18. Wiggle Bump Hey guys, how's things going on the green side of the world
