It was a very pleasant conversation, actually.

After ~2 years of disliking Sponge based on the UjW and seeing his posting, I was pretty floored by what a pleasant man Sponge is.

There are penalties for consistently failing to measure up to Nordreich's admittedly-high standards, and said penalties can be quite severe indeed.

We just bumped a guy from the Temple of Justice in part for refusing to take part in audits. I suggested he join VE, it was the most severe penalty I could think of. (He did, they rejected him :S)

We prefer to bleed in training so we bleed less on the field.

NoR has been one of the greatest allies an alliance could ever hope to have in all incarnations (including NoV), and I mean that. I may have told this story before, or I may have not, I am not sure, but prior to the UjW I insisted that the NPO drop most of its allies. GOONS, \m/, Valhalla, and the other ones that were plotting against us or otherwise just plain unreliable and fair weather. I insisted on keeping only a core group of truly trustworthy alliances, of which NoR was among. It was their loss when they picked TPF over you.

I admit that I am impressed by your exceptional military. In comparison, my alliance sucks at war. Our guys generally can't cba to show up unless there's fighting to do. Then they attack as many targets as possible to reach anarchy faster (they are stoned too!!!). And then they just don't want to stop fighting, so that they can stay in anarchy the longest possible. This is why our history is full of defeats while yours is so full of victories I guess. Reading about your military history, I couldn't find a single defeat in early NoR's history. It's all victories. Then there are no defeats in the reformed NoR's history either. You are so proud warriors, that you only faced defeat once (as NoV), and you immediately turned the other way and disbanded to avoid this disgrace.

Any alliance leader should want an alliance like yours as an ally. If nothing else, upon seeing you at the battlefield, people can be sure that they are on the winning side .

I have lots of respect for Nordreich and I say this as an old enemy of your alliance who has crossed swords with you guys in the past. while there may not be a love-fest between the CN left and yourselves, some of us on the left who fought you guys in the old days do truly miss the real rivalry we once had. If I ever get to face Nordreich on the field of battle again I would consider it a real honor.

Considering the OOC rubbish TPF was throwing against NoV, I can hardly blame them. Most of them didn't surrender so much as they did delete. Many came back and provided support for Vox. But bah. Some people are incapable of letting go of their petty grudges.

however i have always considered you to be little. i remember what you used to be, your IO days and all that. i still remember that crap you tried to pull in GATO during GATO-1V. it felt great to roll your tiny nation while i was in IRON after i re-rolled. people dont change. you haven't changed. you're still a little man presenting himself as great.

First, I was never an IO. I was high command though, which during that time I did occasionally succeed in helping others. I gave Legion nations permission to defend themselves after GWIII, which although is not much, is a lot more than anyone else in the NPO would allow. Furthermore, I at times succeeded in getting some of our nations to defend FAN, although my efforts to do more were often thwarted by my superiors.

Second, I came clean about my attempt to coup GATO and instead worked to help it towards peace, although my efforts did prove futile. I'll admit I was an antagonist in NPO, and I do not repent, for I was never unusually cruel or sadistic. When others crossed a line, a line that never should have been crossed, I was among the first to take a stand. For months it was only me, Starfox, and one other guy doing anything to stand up to the NPO. You on the other hand sat in your AA and complained in private, or rather, kept your muttering of discontent to yourself while proudly touting IRON's party line in public (yes, I remember that).

Lastly, I am one of the few truly consistent people here. I may be a jerk at times, but I have a code and values which I have held and will always continue to hold. I do not change and become abusive because I somehow get power, nor do I become submissive and hide my true thoughts because I fall out. The same cannot be said for most of the rest of your two-faced cowards.

As for NoR, think what you will. I'll take comfort in knowing that those of us who aren't blindly holding onto the past know better.

I remember joining their channel and saying that this won't be an easy fight for TPF/Int/TGE, because you guys could fight. The sad thing is many like me, who supported you publicly, were too afraid to stand up for you like we should have. Often times as hard as it is to admit, it's much easier to be like Sparta and not care only obeying and answering to whoever's in power.

You should have joined one of the Hanseatic League or Brotherhood alliances. Or both

Have always held the belief that Nordreich can fight like they mean it. It is fitting that they are allied to alliances that hold simillar beliefs when it comes to war.

I can see that you don't remember it quite that well then. For example, INT didn't even exist when NoV was rolled and none of it's predecessors took directly part in the rolling. I wish we would had though, the fewer nazis the better
