Gentlemen, here are logs from IRC regarding us being told that peace had been reached, including questions as to why we didnt have a say in that peace:

All of us were told peace was 100% done. That would be why we argued about the lack of a vote. It had been done without asking the alliance.

That is a pure lie Vosegus: you wanted war just like the rest of us. And you told us the war was over. You told us peace had been reached, which apparently is not the case. But it is hardly our fault that we acted on what we had been told. You call us deserters? I cannot speak for our Comrade Members, but the reason I left is that you, SIR, lie, you circumvent the constitution, you undermine the authority of your elected government officials, and more.

Im sorry that we left in the middle of a war, but as I stated: that war was over. At least as far as you informed us from your private negotiations.

I have the right to call you deserters. After all, Brezhnev, it was you who wanted me to join the revenge raids of LT as originally, I did not want a part off which led to my downfall. I was the third nation to be raided by LT, and I specifically told you that I had no need for revenge, after all a raid is a raid and a war is a war.  I have no respect for you. You asked me to step in. A majority of the players who left Guinness did back the war as of yesterday before they all left. I stated in that forum that Vosegus and I were pursuing peace, I needed the peace due to the damage to my nation, however, members such as Lord Hitchcock and Brezhnev continue to pursue war. I was sadden by the fact that everyone started leaving. But however, when I found out that those specific players who wanted war, ended up peacing-out, I was furious. I have zero respect for you Brezhnev, and also Lord Hitchcock. I ended up surrendering, which did not surprise me, due to my substantial losses. I took the hits for you, I took the damage. My war counterparts respectfully accepted my surrender (GeneralCho and Last) and I thank them for that. Franz thank you also. I am a refugee.

I'm not sure how much more clear we can make it. We left because we didn't vote on the peace, not  because we all didn't want it.

If I still had acsess to the forums I could pull multiple posts from resigning members which explicitely stated that it was that lack of a vote.

I asked you to get involved in the war because at the time that was my job. If you wish to be angry at me because of that that is your choice. The key thing, Ceres, is that I ASKED you. You made the final decision to get involved. There was not an order demanding you get involved. And yes, I supported the war, but not yesterday. I wanted peace for Guinness, and I still want peace for Guinness. You did not take hits for me as I am far to small currently to have been involved in that war at all. I could not send aid or anything. All I did was do paperwork for the Chancellery of Defense.

I am dissapointed that you have zero respect for me: I remember when I resigned I was told "best of luck" from Vosegus. Not sure what changed, but from what I was aware of at the time he did not oppose us resigning. Yet now Guinness is all over us for it. A strange change in attitudes. If Guinness feels so upset about this, why did they not attempt to get us to change our minds? Instead of litterally wishing us the best of luck and sending us on our way.

Brezhnev, no. You asked me to participate in raids, not a war.

Whatever you want to call it Ceres. You had a "war" on your "war" screen. The fact remains, I asked you and did not order you.

A raid and a war are two drastically different things.

The fact that Guinness/NSF even tried to use the term "raid" to describe what they decided to do shows dreadful execution of a dreadful plan by very dreadful alliances. Edited by Neo Uruk

Yes they are. It was a raid (clearly not anymore apparently or we wouldnt even be having this coversation).

If you thought it would have been just a raid, you're an idiot. Then again, I don't expect much from people who follow a known idiot around.

Maybe it would be best if the two you tried to work out your differences in private. In my experience that way you can be honest about what bothers you instead of also worrying about how you are perceived by the world as a whole.

I think this whole situation shows clear communication wasn't a strength.

But that's ok, and it's nobodies fault. A lot of members were new. This will help all of us as a learning experience in whatever alliance we all end up in down the road.

I think this arguement shows that breaking away and making SPA (For now) May not have been the best option for you...

My options were A. Join SPA or B. Find another alliance I had no experience with. I picked the ones I had friends in. That's really the only factor. Well, and difficulty in finding a good alliance that votes on most things.

Maybe Guinness are better off without spineless cowards who stab their alliance in the back before siding with the then enemy.
