Nunavut would like to echo Pravus Ingruo, should war come to North America by the Europeans we shall also step in, in defence of J Andres. However till such point we are neutral, which means should anyone try to violate our air space/territorial waters to get to the French colony we shall defend ourselves to out fullest extent.

From the Kingdom of Finland

The Kingdom of Finland declares all out war on J'Andres and we are activating our ODP with Germany on the grounds that Europe was defiled by the Americans and we sat back and did nothing, now Europe unites under a single banner again to fight off the Imperialist pigs of J'Andres. Moreover, on the grounds that they attacked, and sank a 47 ships aid flotilla, which included four hospital ships without provokation, leading the deaths of a now confirmed number of 22,941 souls. All civilians in marked civilian ships.

We see that as an act of war against the Kingdom, and as it stands, J'Andres will pay for their crime. They will lose their colony in Britain and Europeans shall decide its fate.
The called ceasefire by Germany shall be in effect from Finnish ships, but if any American aircraft or warships approach our fleet they will be destroyed and the ceasefire will be declared over for Finland and our war will resume.

On the English Channel, the 24 ships of the CVBGs, scattered across the southern coast of England suddenly found themselves under attack, firstly by the missiles and then by the French and Irish. A few ships were heavily damaged, but the remainder returned fire; the battleships turned their huge railguns at the French and Irish fleet and fired upon them. Any undamaged ships would sail toward their enemies where they were to coordinate their activities together to deal a powerful and decisive blow against the Irish and French. The ships would not give up; they would continue to fight on until they were too damaged, and even so, they would continue to fight until they were destroyed. The six ships docked in and near Tiranul, Scotland, seemingly untouched by the attacks, sailed out into the sea, turning southwards toward the French fleet. They were to go against the right flank of the French fleet and engage them there.
The Grand Fleet was in the North Sea on exercise when long range radar picked up the six warships of the J'Andres fleet as they sailed Southwest towards the Channel Entrace where hunter killer submarines detected the screw characteristics of French warships.

Admiral Joona received his orders from the Admiralty, direct from the King they read:
"Destroy the Amerians ability to wage war on the high seas, offer support to all forces fighting the Americans.
Use the Foriegn Legion to conduct raidsuntil the main army follows"
On receiving his orders Joona commanded the Armada to head on an interception course against the warships, sending four attack submarines forward at flank speed ahead ofthe fleet to clear the way.
On deck of HMS Ark Royal, F-35c's and FA-18 superhornets began streaking off the deck, orbitting the area until their squadron was ready before flying offover the horizon towards the American ships, still without a positive classification due to range and weakness of radar signature.

Armed with EXOCET and Harpoon anti ship missiles, three squadrons of F-35's and FA-18sh's flew south west to observe the reinforcements.
They were to stay out of weapons range until the situation changed.(OOC 30 Aircraft)

A message was sent to President Claire Delacour of France
Greetings Lady of France, I respectfully request that I move forces into France for immediate deployment against American Forces in Britain.
Army Groups south and Baltic command, aswell as the South Sector Airforce would be based along North France whilst our armada aids you in clearing u the channel and makes ready to transport the Army ashore.

I must have revenge for the American murder of 20,000 Finnish citizens in what can only be seen as an act of piracy and war.

Yours in eternal gratitude
King Christian of Finland
A second message was sent to the German leadership in Berlin
Hail brothers.
With Finland now at war with the Americans, I respectuflly request permission to transport my Army across Germany into France, pending French permissions are granted.

Army group south, Baltic command and south sector air forces would move across german territory and airspace into France.
I also request that our ODP is activated for this, we are retaliating to an act of murder and piracy commited by the Americans on the high seas, resulting in the deaths over over 22,000 civilians and the sinking of 42 ships, four of which were hospital vessels.

After some lengthy discussions among Commune members and officials of Fort Farnum, the J Andrean government has decided to accept the Germanic Union's proposal to a ceasefire. The Foreign Ministry made it publicly known as such, stating that J Andres will send a representative to Amsterdam.

CLASSIFIED

Shortly after that announcement was made, a government jet lifted off an runway (that was untouched by the attacks) and flew directly in the direction of Amsterdam. At around the same time, Fort Farnum suspended Operation REVENGE and ordered all attacks to cease.

It was done. J Andrean aircrafts, which had been engaging their enemies in the air, broke away from the fighting and flew away. Troops stopped charging and remained where they were, offering a truce with the Irish in order to evacuate the wounded away from the area. In ports, Navy ships stopped firing.

*Primeira divisão de infantaria, J Andres-Portugal border*
"Joao!" Private Joao continued cleaning his rifle as his sergeant bellowed his name, even though he was merely three feet from him. "Private Joao, please tell me that you aren't doing anything important" Joao looked up at him before stopping. "Just cleaning my rifle, sir." His sergeant handed him a set of papers, in a manila folder marked with a blood-red "CLASSIFIED" stamp on it's front. "Take these to General Carmona at the front, they're urgent. If you need it, there's a jeep nearby you can take." Joao reassembled his rifle and took the Jeep and the papers onto the road.

Another soldier, a Corporal Urbano, accompanied him. After several minutes, Urbano began making small talk. "So, how long do you think the Americans will last?" Joao glanced over, but kept his eyes on the road. "With all the nations attacking? No more than a day or two." The two drove for a few more miles before Urbano responded. "Maybe not even that. We may win this war without a shot being fired." This time Joao actually stared at him before he glanced over as well. "What, didn't you hear?" Joao diverted his eyes back to the road before declaring nobody ever told him anything. "The Americans, the French, the Russians and the Irish are being called to Germany for a peaceful solution. France has already made a bid for us to receive their bases. We may not have to do anything but walk in, my friend." Joao chuckled and kept driving. In three hour's time, they had reached the general's outpost.

"General Carmona, a package has arrived for you, courtesy of the Primeira divisão de infantaria." Carmona smiled as he turned to face the aide. "Well, what is it?" A lowly private, escorted by a corporal entered with a manila folder. The two both saluted before he told them to stand at ease. "Thank you, gentlemen. I'm sure the two of you have important business to attend to back at your camp." Soon, Carmona was left alone with the folder. He opened it to reveal photographs spy planes had taken of J Andres military bases, along with reports that the Terceiro corpo blindado was to arrive and assist his advance with the 88th Infantaria and Corpo do carro em segundo blindado. It also told him to halt his advance until the meeting with Germany and other allies had ended. If the resolution was a peaceful one, then Operation Aurora was operationally a success. He also noted that General Cisneros in the north also had an armored division diverted to assist him. He nodded and replaced the pictures and orders in the folder before resting it down on his table to plan his assault, if the order to begin it ever came.

Christian boarded a private jet and made his way to Amsterdamn to the ceasefire meeting.
He took no guards.

The Foreign Ministry made it publicly known stating that Finland will send a representative to Amsterdam.

Private
On hearing the bloke from J'Andres would be attending orders were sent to the fleet for a full stop, the three squadrons, only an hour away from the carriers, were re-called.
Attack submarines remained on duty, protecting the fleet from attack by sea.

Christian sat in the aircraft and fumed. J'Andres would explain their actions in regards to the Atlantic Massacre as it was now being called in Espoo.

Just when Nikita was preparing to finish her work for the day she heard 2 cars stop in front of the palace. With a sigh she walked towards the door as she knew this wasn’t a normal visit but something of a formal nature again.

Just as she left her office several Magistrates came walking up the stairs followed by Imperial Guard, she could even recognize a general.

“What is it gentlemen?” she asked as she looked at the men.

“Your highness, the French have declared war on the American imperialists, Slavorussia, Ireland and other states including Portugal are aiding them.” Alexander, the MoD, replied. Nikita looked up, she knew this was going to be a very long night.

“Call for an emergency meeting of the Assembly in 12 hours, order the Imperial War Cabinet to report to this palace in an hour” Nikita stated as she took the reports from Alexander. Athens could not stand by as war raged on in Europe but Athens could not get itself involved on any side either.

As the hour passed several more cars arrived. Soon the relatively small conference room was filled with suits and uniforms. The IWC was used to their underground complex but the sudden nature of this meeting had forced them to improvise, and Nikita just didn’t feel like taking a drive right now. She observed the meeting for a while from the door before making her presence known.

“This is the second time the French make a rash decision without caring to inform us, no more I say. Let them handle their own mess!” A relatively young general stated, in response you could immediately hear mumbling and disapproval.

“Are you mad? The French are the only ones with the balls to do something about the situation. We should join forces with them immediately.” While the statement from the Magistrate of Defense got more support even this was not unanimously liked. Nikita coughed a bit as she entered the room after which it all turned silent again.

“Take it easy men, we don’t have to fight it out here. What we however need to do is find a way honoring all our treaties to diffuse this situation with as few bloodshed as possible. If we can’t work something out together we’ll never get it through the Assembly in 11 hours. So any ideas?”

The Admiral of the Navy looked up at this question. “Your highness, my officers have come up with a plan to deploy the Second Fleet to the Atlantic and establish a position between the French and Americans. This fleet would specifically be aimed at preventing further countries joining the fight.”

A lot of approval could be heard from the other officials there. At that point the General of the Army took over. “We could deploy the second through fifth divisions to reinforce the First Division in Portugal. Picard has a history with the French so her forces might be able to find cooperation from French command. Furthermore we need to have a strong force in Portugal to protect our allies there. They might not be able to fend for themselves if the issue should escalate. There is another concern though, what if peace talks don’t work however?”

Nikita sighed at the question. “If they do not reach peace we will support France with force but under no case may they know that just yet”

Brothers, Friends, Europeans,

It saddens me to see the bloodshed of war reaching our great land once again. For too long has our continent been subject to oppression, tyranny and false ideals. It is because of this I can not support this war of liberation as in essence it just is that. An useless waste of European blood for a false sense of independence. At the same time I can not support the continued occupation and abuse of great European people. After intensive debates throughout the Federation I thus with this Imperial Decree order all Hellenic Forces to return to Europe. The Hellenic Navy will be deployed to the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea to keep this conflict contained. Should anyone decide to escalate this conflict beyond its current point be it an ally or not it will not be tolerated. At the same time I call for all parties involved to take the German offer to negotiate a lasting peace.

Do not underestimate our dedication to this cause. Furthermore I wish to make a final point in regards to Portugal which shall serve as a warning to J Andres. We take the protection agreement quite serious. If you retaliate on Portuguese soil it will be considered a declaration of war upon Athens.
At the same time the announcement was aired a letter would be send to Berlin to be handed over to the highest authority there.
To the German government,

After having received word of the peace conference you plan to hold I would like to officially request Athens receiving a seat as a moderator. Being a prime power in Southern Europe and due to our neutrality in the matter we believe we could positively affect the negotiations. In addition I offer aid from the Hellenic Forces to monitor the ceasefire.

Yours sincerely,
N. Akhatova
Renée looked up amazed when she read the emergency order from Athens. Over the last years her division had remained in Portugal mostly just guiding the Portuguese government. The prospect of her base being a central command again sure did please the battle-hardened officer. Destroying the orders after reading them she ordered the base to AlertCon Beta. In addition empty areas of the complex were to prepare for the arrival of 40,000 soldiers.

A message was sent to allied governments informing them of the J Andrean ceasefire. Likewise, a message was sent to the German government informing them that Ireland would send a representative to the conference and conveyed Ireland's wish to keep the conference to combatants only as too often conferences get engorged to allow all fringe participants, neutral and the like.

A separate classified message was sent to the Athenian Federation warning them to stay away from the Irish Sea and English Channel because of ongoing combat operations.

On the ground in Wales, reinforcements from Ireland began to arrive, slowly at first, but growing by the hour. J Andres may have halted their forces, but that doesn't mean Ireland would. J Andrean forces would be allowed to send in medical teams so long as Irish medical teams were allowed to be sent in.

The Hanseatic Republic requests to have a representative at these talks. Though these matters involve the four major nations to a greater extent, they concern us to some degree as well, and we wish to contribute what we can to the peaceful solution of this issue.

To those who requested participation in the Amsterdam Peace Talks:

"While we have no objection to the participation or observation of your Nations, we ask you to in turn request J Andres and France permission to join in. I know that the situation is extremely tense and that Paris was quite strict about their wishes regarding those who could witness the conference, so I will leave them and the other belligerent side to decide who may and may not enter, beyond those who are directly involved and have thusly been invited. Additionally during the Peace Talks and Ceasefire, Germanic Union will not allow any troops to move through its territory, as this would subtly violate said Ceasefire."

-------------

OOC: I suppose we shall do things in this same thread?

-------------

Lords Martens and von Lübeck were there at Amsterdam almost right away to receive each representative, in an operative of high security due to the importance of this emergency summit. The Reichswehr was everyone to make sure that nobody could try anything funny, and a large round table was made available, while in the background, several Germanic Union Flags with Orange instead of Red were seen.

Martens would address the representatives, (OOC: Assuming that this is when all have arrived)

"Welcome to Amsterdam and I regret this being a meeting of war, yet I am pleased that all sides are willing to hear us and each other out. We are in the unusual situation that we are either allies or at least friends to all of the involved Nations and wish for all of them to enjoy prosperity. This is no time for fancy talk, so I'll skip to the point:"

"Many European nations do not want their continent to be colonized, and as such have decided to opt for warfare as a means of resolution. We however are aware that there are rumors that J Andres had considered leaving the area peacefully. If J Andres truly wants to leave, then it should be able to do so without bloodshed, and the territories should be made Protectorates to European Nations. If J Andres should leave peacefully, we would then like to offer said nation a Friendship Pact, with an ODP Clause, as a sort of compensation for their territorial loss: They would indeed lose land (Which is likely to be lost through war either way), but they would gain one ally with a legal excuse and with a moral duty to defend them if their National Core Land Integrity should ever be at stake. We would also use our transport ships to move any civilians and leftover J Andres Assets in the region to the Homeland, and, to support their ongoing war effort elsewhere lend-leasing them military items. That way, all things considered, Europe gets what it wants without disgraceful war and J Andres is, at least, able to gain something in spite of the territorial loss."

"We will state that our position in this war is that of neutrality, however, Finland and Burgundaholmr would be able to leave the Baltic to reach France and assist it due to our Baltic Agreement stating that Baltic-based Nations cannot be restricted by Germanic Union, while only non-baltic vessels can be prevented from entering. We would only consider joining the war if the conflict threatened to spill to the Union or if France as a Nation was on the brink of being "rolled" as it is said informally, to then be annexed, provided that France had by that time not resorted to weapons aimed at civilians, such as Nuclear Missiles against Cities, basically."

Christian listened silently to the German as he spoke.
"You seem to have overlooked the alleged attack, and sinking of a Finnish aid flotilla destinted for the USA.
42 container ships containing fuel and munitions, aswell as four hospital ships were sunk is massive explosions in the North Atlantic.

As it stands, Artemisclaims its satellites show no such attack, however with three J'Andresian ships and 42 Finnish ships at the bottom of the sea, aswell as 22,000 civilian deaths, well it speaks for itself. Satellites will not pick up Submarines or torpedos.

Regardless of if the Maritime Republic did open fire on the ships, we have recordings of the radio conversation that were transmitted back to Baltic command, minutes before the explosions, detailing J'Andres commanding the flotilla to stop and make ready to be searched by military personal in international waters. Soon after they boarded the ships the fleet went south.

Now again, even if the sinking of the flotilla was not caused by warship fire, J'andres commited an act of piracy on the high seas under Finnish law, by violating the ships sovreignty, by extension, Finnish sovreignty. A stop and search in territorial waters is fine and perfectly legal under Finnish Law, as the shipping would be inside said Nations territorial seas, but in Internatiional waters it is illegal against Finnish law.

Now, we can confirm, that the teriary explosions could have been caused from shrapnel from exploding ships piercing the hulls of other vessels igniting munitions being held inside, and so forth, the butterfly effect as it were. The initial explosions however we cannot confirm. The only thing we know is that alot of innocent lives were lost.
Moreover, the flotilla had a tight, square formation, with 30 meters or less between the ships. My question is, how did three large American ships get close enough to the most powerful set of explosions in the center of the flotilla, with only 30 meters berth and no manouvering space? Secondly, why would something so foolish be undertaken, so charges of Negligience could be brought forward. Thirdly, the clearly marked aid flotilla should not have even been stopped unless J'Andres ordered its Navy to stop and search all shipping entering the area.
If that is the case, why?
It is also curious that soon after J'Andres breaks its word and backstabs its ally, going to war, that a large aid flotilla bound for the USA gets destroyed, might be coincidence, might not be, I am here to find out why, 22,000 of my citizens were killed and how four, painted white with large red crosses, clearly marked hospital ships sank in the vicinity of the Maritime Republics navy."

In response to participation of the Peace Talks:

"While France's first intentions to keep this meeting between the current warring powers, so that things could move easily enough, it is clear that all of Europe has been wronged in J Andres' occupation of British Soil. The observers will be permitted to the meeting and will be allowed to talk, however I implore the observers to maintain their etiquette."

---

Amsterdam, Germanic Union

Claire Delacour and a contingent of her ministers sat silently in the conference. All in all, she was not pleased with the outcomes of the ceasefire. The J Andresians were getting off relatively easy for the trouble and exploitation they had caused in the British Isles. More so, a peaceful withdraw would let the Andresians focus their efforts on expanding their empire else where. In her mind, the Germans, for some reason being supportive of the Andresians were giving them a free card to withdraw in peace, when they certainly hadn't arrived in any manner of peace. Under her breath she cursed Therese, none of this should have ever happened.

"First, for reasons of organization. The British Isles are not going to become a protectorate of every European nation. Especially the nations who made no such move to make war against the imperialists. As such the protection force will be administered by France, Ireland, and if the Slavorussians would like to place a token force on the Isles as well that is understandable. However the isles are much too small to have contingents of nearly every European nation and our hope is that English and Scottish Regimes will begin to form as soon as the J Andresian force leaves Britain.

Secondly, I fail to see anywhere that there are rumors of J Andres' withdraw from Britain. Nothing in their national news would tell the allies this or even the civilians of England or Scotland. One must wonder how Germany would come up with this notion. I'm not implying that it isn't true, but I would like to see evidence that there was ever a withdraw planned. To me this sounds like the movement of a nation trying to get out of the crimes it committed on the invasion of Britain and Ireland. Nevertheless, our conditions to J Andres are simple. The immediate removal of all hostile forces from Britain, Portugal, and any other European Holdings that the Maritime Republic may have. There will be no negotiation on this issue, France and her allies are firmly set that the age of American Colonialism in Europe is over.

So J Andres has their option, they agree to withdraw, or there is no point for us to be at this conference."

J Andrean representative Jared Harlan raised an eyebrow at the Finnish representative. "Our ships did not fire upon your ships. Period. We had a duty to stop the war from potentially expanding, and as such we took it upon ourselves to intercept your vessels and search them. Our ships did intercept and search your searches, but they never fired a single shot upon your ships; your merchant ships exploded from within. Anyone with satellite feeds can see that."

Harlan glanced around at the representatives before setting his sights back to the Finn.

"You keep on yammering about how we sunk your ships, which we clearly did not. What is to stop us from speculating that Finland may have purposefully planned the destruction of the merchant ships in an attempt to put us in a bad light and thus to draw us into war? If you think this is outrageous, well, good for you. If you can keep making your accusations against us, we can make such against you. But we will not stoop to your levels."

He smiled.

"You keep on accusing J Andres of sinking your ships and thus 'committing an act of piracy on the high seas' and yet you say you cannot confirm the initial explosions. Don't make statements if you have nothing to back it up, please and thank you."

Turning his attention to the gathered delegates, and focusing on the French and Irish representatives. "As for this meeting, I have a proposition to make. Though we may not be in a great position of strength, I propose that J Andres withdraws all of its forces from England and Scotland and turn control of them over to Ireland and France, for them to do whatever they see fit. We will renounce our claims on Britain, and will not try to retake it back in the future. This includes our bases in Europe, as well. Are we in agreement?" Harlan inquired.

The King recoiled at the Americans words and wanted to jump over the table and hammer him into the floor. instead he adopted a different tone.
" Stop and searches in international waters by foreign Navys are views as piracy on the high seas under Finnish Law. do not try your !@#$%^&* with me.

Submarines and torpedo attacks DO NOT show up on satellite imagery.
You avoid my question of WHY three of your ships sailed right into a formation of merchants in such close quarters.
you talk of preventing expansion and escalation of the war, and yet you turned your back on your ally and invaded them. Dont talk !@#$ boy. Why would we draw you into a war your already involved in? Speak sense.

It was public knowledge that those ships, with the exception of the hospital ships, were laden with ammuniton and weaponry for the United States, who at the time were your ally.
We fulfilled your obligation to supply them because you failed in your duty to uphold your treaty.
Whos to say your inspection team did not board the ships and cause the explosion by mistake?

As it stands, our flotilla went up in flames, in the vicinty of your warships, maybe submarines. What are we to think?
I know damn straight Ide have Americans marching up the steps to my Palace if 22,000 of your people died in mysterious circumstances after massive explosions next to my warships.
Especially if a Captain of one of the ships sent out an SOS under the impression your ships fired on the flotilla before his ship sank. The evidence is pretty damning, moreover Surviving captains report the Slavorussian flotilla was nearby, within 7 kilometers of the Armada and witnessed the event first hand.

In regards to your terms, if the main powers agree to them, I will agree and I will sign a ceasefire with you, and this !@#$storm can be looked into properly under Royal Navy supervision without American interference. The admiralty will conduct an investigation and look into the cause of the explosions and determine if it was naval gunfire or torpedo fire".

Harlan shrugged. "I didn't know international waters were covered under Finnish law. Sorry about that. I need to brush up on my knowledge." He said.

"And using swear words is rather...unfitting for a great and honorable King of Finland like you, don't you think?" The J Andrean said, smirking. "Use discretion, please."

"As for your questions, I already answered them. And your flotilla wasn't the only ones that went up in flames. You see our flagship, the great Charlemagne? Yeah, she went down too, along with several more ships. You think our admirals were stupid and suicidal to do what you accused them of?" Harlan scowled slightly. His lips then turned up into a smile.

"And thank you for stating your willingness to agree." Harlan said, smiling.
Dispatch to Martens:

Comrade Martens,

It is my desire to attend the talks as an observer and an ombudsman in your efforts for peace. Rest assured if allowed to attend I shall defer to you as this is a European Affair, but we hold interests with both parties. The United Federation of the East holds a Treaty of Amnity with France and a military alliance with the Maritime Republic of J. Andres and hold extensive economic interests with the two. It would be highly harmful to our political and economic posture if either country came to harm.

Nikolai Ushakov, Slavorussia’s ambassador to Germany was Moscow’s representative at this meeting. The government didn’t expect J Andres to give up easily. However thy did expect J Andres to give in eventually knowing the Americans would probably want to prevent a two front war. If the question of Germany’s intentions had crossed the French president’s mind it almost certainly was crossing Ushakov’s mind as well. Nevertheless he listened, he was to play second fiddle to the French hoping to avoid as much international flack as possible.

He was socked when listening to Harlan’s concession. They weren’t even going to try to get a better deal? His country’s agenda was suspicious at best. J Andres was not an honorable nation, like it had been when it was allied to Slavorussia. They could not be trusted.

“Mr. Harlan, forgive me for asking, but what game are you playing with us today? Do you expect us to believe everything is sunshine and flowers and that the J Andresian military will remove itself from Europe so easily? I‘ve learned from experience that more often than not when something appears too good to be true, it‘s not.”

Ireland's diplomat cleared his throat and brought the microphone closer to his mouth. "As the nation here most wronged by the J Andreans, I have been instructed by my King to accept nothing less than the complete removal of all J Andrean forces from Europe. As we all know though, JAndres is a backstabbing nation, therefore, I have also been instructed to inform the J Andreans that should they wish for peace in Britain, they're to cease all of their hostile actions across the world - including their war in North America. Then, and only then, will Ireland allow J Andres to leave without further bloodshed."

"Playing games? Oh, no. I couldn't do that even if I tried, sir." Harlan replied. "I'm simply offering the withdrawal of J Andrean troops from Britain. Isn't that the point of this meeting? To be honest, I did not know you wanted them to stay. I'm touched, I must admit."

Harlan sighed. "Tell me something. Do you want J Andrean troops to stay? Just say so. You want them to go. Say so. Make up your mind! I'm basically offering a chance for the peaceful withdrawal of our troops from Europe. This proposal makes it difficult to do so."

A Legion delegate seated quietly in the rear of the building says to the J Andres representative, "However, you sir can leave peacefully providing you attempt to live at peace with the rest of the world. The Europeans stand to loose very little if they fight you, very little at all. The Irish demand is a reasonable one."

Harlan turned to the delegate and grinned. "We will, we will." He said, nodding in affirmation. "And I must disagree with you there. They stand to lose much by fighting us in Britain. But we will strive to withdraw peacefully, nevertheless."

Ushakov shoots a fiery gaze at the smartass !@#$%^&. “You are neither entertaining nor agreeable, sir. Everyone here knows J Andres to lack the moral fortitude necessary to be taken seriously in international discourse. I don’t believe for a moment that your force will go quietly”

"Homes can be rebuilt, men reborn on the next wheel of life, and machines of war reforged anew. A war against you in Britain will only serve to strengthen the bonds of community in Europe. It would only strengthen the bonds of the world against fascism and cowardly behavior like your nation has displayed. A war only benefits the unity of Europe, and whatever they lose in terms of life and property can be made good again in a handful of years, however, a missed opprotunity like this only comes once in a generation," the Legion delegate replies.

"I'm not sure you understand the situation, what I have said earlier are the terms Ireland is offering J Andres to peacefully leave the British Isles and Europe. Either you fulfill them, or you don't and we go to war. It's as simple as that. You're outnumbered more than 2:1 - think carefully before you respond."
