Malatose
"General, we're preparing to detonate our project," a lone Captain stated. "Good, alert all stations. This shall be a day long remembered." The General stated as he placed on his protective goggles. Around the worksite designated "Ground Zero", dozens of military personnel scurried about, trying to clear "Ground Zero". Most headed behind the protective shielding, that was erected. "General, we're preparing the countdown. Soon we will be entering the new age." The General smirked and the countdown began. "5....4....3....2..........1..................." The test was successful. Dalmatia had detonated it's first nuclear weapon in the 500KT range. Dalmatia had entered a new age.

Uberstein
Private: Radiological researches (Mainly in hospitals) facepalmed at yet another atmospheric detonation. Public: The Republic of Finland will correct it's maps to show Greater Dalmatia as a separate nation from the Slavic Federation, though we do wonder why the union of the two nations failed. OOC: Write the wrong nation?
Executive Minister
"It is indeed a joyous day to see others develop the same capabilities that for far too long have remained in the hands of bloated tyrants. Perhaps now the playing field will be evened and knowledge of the propagation of such weapons will serve to stay the hands of those that would aggress others."
Zoot Zoot
The Imperium of Canada, whilst respecting and understanding the decision to obtain, test and stockpile nuclear weapons, condemns not only the above ground test, but the attainment of nuclear weapons in general. Enough Nations in this world can cause a nuclear holocaust, and one more is not a good thing. That said, congratulations on obtaining your bomb.
