Hime Themis
Gentle Persons of Digiterra It gives us great pleasure to announce the ascension of the newest rank of leadership in the Order of the Black Rose. First our newly minted Squire ManweDrago. Squire ManweDrago has displayed the best qualities of hard work, diligent study and leadership by action and word. Squire ManweDrago has not only succeeded in his growth to Squire but has been given responsibility for Command of the BW (Blackwater)division previously commanded by Metal now some 21 nations and 900,000 NS. Squire ManweDrago served many, many months with distinction in Blackwater before supplication to the OBR peerage. So please join me in thanking our good Commander Metal who steps back to enjoy the simple pleasure of a soldier without the weight of command and our newest Squire and New Commander of Blackwater Squire ManweDrago. Secondly it is a thrill to announce the ascension of Dame Stella to the Knighthood of The Order of the Black Rose. Dame Stella has been in leadership in other alliances and brings another Women’s view to our Order. We are delighted for all to celebrate the fact that she is the very first Knight to ascend that has come through the Blackwater training system before supplicating to the peerage of the OBR. Dame Stella was instrumental in designing and running the RoTR (Realm of the Rose) division that now sports some 26 nations and 500,000NS. Her wise and steady voice will lend support to the Knights Council. Lastly I would just like to remind all that RoTR and BW leaders are hard working leaders with little extra time for diplomacy. We are pleased to take all requests through the OBR division of the Rosular Kingdom. Please join us on our forums index.php Or IIRC Channel #blackroseorder. We welcome any and all complaints, queries or compliments about any member of the Rosular Kingdom regardless of division. Of course Compliments are always nicest. Respectfully Dame Hime Themis For Queen AterAtra Sir Winslow, Knight Protector The Knights Council

Neboe
I am excited about the new command of Blackwater. Commander metal built the unit from the ground up and its success has been sharpened by his leadership, I feel confident that Squire ManWeDrago will step into the roll poised for further success. Congratulations to the Squire and the Blackwater division. I am honored to have conducted the dubbing ceremony for Dame Stella the other night. Her friendship goes all the way back to . . . well lets just say it goes a loooong way back. She has been instrumental in the advancement of The Order. Craven
A great day for the Order of The Black Rose! Congratulations to two well deserving friends. I know both of you will do very well in these positions and look forward to speaking with each of you later to congratulate you some more! Edit: Oh and props to metal who has lead BW for so long. I am sure it was hard for him to step down and he has left Manwedrago quite large shoes to fill. I only hope that metal remains interested in the game and continues to keep people in line as he is so good at doing. It was very enjoyable working with him and if anyone can pickup where he left at it is Manwedrago. Oh and metal is the most handsome person you could ever serve under Edited December 15, 2009 by Craven
W_A_R
The sky is black with thunderheads and the earth gives off that hot, moist scent that only comes from the first rains on a parched and dusty landscape. The lands of Vijar prepares to receive the rare seasonal gift of rainfall. One's eyes could be excused for thinking that the trees and plants were quivering in anticipation, so slight the breeze before the storm. The figure of a cloaked man could be discerned against the looming backdrop of the sky. Still of erect bearing, the man's once muscled build had faded slightly and a paunch of inactivity hung uncomfortably around his waist. A parchment hung loosely from his gnarled left hand; a message carried to him from a far Kingdom. The missive told of the recent achievements of the Order of the Black Rose, a fellowship that the man knew well and held dear. The words spoke of the elevation of Page ManweDrago to that of Squire, an achievement of particular note given that he now had taken up the role of Commander of Blackwater. The former Commander, the much respected metal, had chosen to seek release from his responsibilities so that he could focus on other duties. The man pulled his cloak closer to him as heavy droplets of rain started to splatter on the dirt. He wished both ManweDrago and metal well. The message also told of the ascension of Squire Stella to Knighthood. Dear Stella, constantly working and making sure all within the Order and the Realm of the Rose were cared for. Her hands could wield a battle-axe with the same deftness as when she was creating delicate pastries and morsels for visitors to the Black Keep. Dame Stella; a title well deserved indeed. The parchment was now limp in the man's grip and the ink upon in began to run and smear under the assault of the increasingly heavy rain. Although nobody could see his face, a small smile of satisfaction crinkled his weathered visage, and his eyes shone just a little brighter in the knowledge that the Order was in good hands. He turned was walked slowly back to to his hearth and home.
