In today's issue, you will find some more bragging about the black sphere, alliance news, a little game, and other random (but oh so important) information. And if you don't know what NOIR is, I'd better remind you just so you have an idea why you're reading this. We are just a tiny little black team economic bloc. If you're on black, join us! If not, well, why aren't you on black? Anyway, sit back, relax, and enjoy the... read. In the past month, NOIR has continued to grow, by adding The Family and Brigade, even if slow. With many applicants and rumors of more, we continue to build a very strong core. The sound of black nations joining our sphere attending their stations, is music to our ears! (Okay, so I'm no poet.) Black Team News While we hold a clear lead of more than 200 nations over the second largest sphere, blue, our slim lead in terms of nuclear arsenal and total nation strength only slightly bests aqua. Therefore... WE WANT YOU! (for service in the black sphere) Together, we can rule the world! (and crush the evil aqua menace) But in other news, we’re still the best. The True NOIR Revealed Ever wonder what goes on inside of the NOIR private forums? Well, I'll tell ya, it ain't pretty. Thats why we keep the lights off. Besides, what would a Black Team Bloc be without some darkness? Just kidding, things are obviously bright and happy at NOIR. Our forums are active on a daily basis, as people post trade requests, tech deal offers and donation deal offers. Nations from all sorts of alliances post about daily happenings about Planet Bob as well as what's happening within the walls. People come, discuss topics regarding Planet Bob as well as the fictional world of Earth, and just have an all-around good time. In NOIR, we interview new black team alliances wishing to become a part of the best thing that's happened to the team since the Dark Vows. Alliances are grilled with interview questions, not about how many nukes they have or how much tech they can pump through the system, but how they can help make the black sphere grow and continue to increase its overall awesomeness. Unaligned Black Team nations register on the forums looking for economic hook-ups and join many of the vast NOIR trade circles. Many programs have been initiated within the bloc to encourage signatory growth and to help cultivate the nations of those who wish to stay unaligned. Alliances openly share their technical skills in many different departments and fields. Signatories are coordinating research into the many features of Planet Bob and are working together in a manner only ever seen before between the Mostly Harmless Alliance and The Grämlins. NOIR's mission is to help cultivate and encourage black sphere growth, signatory or not. The dozens of member alliances have joined together to show Planet Bob that unity is possible, even on the largest team. They have committed countless hours and limitless energy in order to promote and improve the team, and they continue to do so every single day. We strive to do this without imposing our beliefs on other alliances, be they members or not. We never make people stay inclusive with tech deals, donations, or trades. We don't go around using our size or military abilities to get things done. We simply work with each other, among one another equal in power and authority, and equal also to those outside of this bloc. Our only philosophy is that whatever we do for you, return the favor to someone else in need. Every signatory lives by this philosophy and we hope to encourage others to follow in this example and help us continue to make the black team the best sphere on Planet Bob. We are United. Ether This month in Ether, nations continue to prepare for the alliance's 1 year anniversary coming October 22nd. Co-founder and President Pmac627 commented saying, "Yeah, we wanted to make sure we celebrate in style for this anniversary." Ether's six-month anniversary was eclipsed by the escalation of the Karma War, which reached the status of Global War the same day. "We gotta make this one better" remarked Vice President Beef Supreme when asked about his plans for the celebration by the Aurelius Kindergarten class. "Like, we need sparklers and $%!# to blow up. You know, the stuff your mother doesn't let you play with."For this celebration, Her Sexiness Evey Jane has set up a planning committee to oversee the process. "Things are going all and well... except that everyone is still kinda out of it from the last party." She was referring to the return party for former Vice President MasterNick who returned from Basic this past month. "Dude, it was AWESOME! We had cake and balloons and Pmac even opened up some ethoxyethane!" MasterNick commented. Ether's activity fell to an all time low for a brief period as everyone laid about the capital nation high as a kite. The celebration planning committee is believed to be two months behind schedule because of this. In other news, Ether nations have managed increase their national infrastructure in hopes of easing the transport of technology throughout the alliance. The alliance nation strength is assessed at 318,377 strong this month. The alliance is striving to reach 30,000 per nation to better increase productivity and bring the alliance into the global market. Amazon Nation This month in Amazonia, our ranks have enjoyed a surge in strength in response to an ongoing project that has been in the works for quite some time, and should be concluding within the next month or two. In short order, the Nation has surpassed the 600k mark in Strength, and now sports an Average Strength of over 40k.In other news, the Amazon Nation made Amazon history when Kerdor of Morte Vallta won the Amazon Space Race (ok, so it wasn't an official race, yet, but still), becoming the first...guy...in the Amazon Nation to go TO THE MOON! And fresh from the rumor mill, word on the street has it the Nation's own Queen will finally stop "pushing 30" and begin pulling it, instead, around the 20th of this month. Others may interpret this little rumor as they see fit, but keep an eye out for the party in #AzN around that date, either way. Finally, Amazonia would like to send love and cookies to her friends and allies. Yes, including NOIR! Darkfist The Darkness of the FistDuring the last month, Dark Fist has imported more tech than ever before - over 10,000 units thereof in fact. This amazing feat can be attributed to our undisputed awesomeness. Several more WRCs have been built, resulting in the triumph over our arch nemesis, the Greenland Republic, with us having more than them - something which is a clear indication of our respective penor sizes. Our average strength went above 30,000 for the first time, and now stands at approximately 32k, as our upwards growth steadily continues. Two - count 'em two female members now reside in Dark Fist. This has caused much joy and excitement among the rest of our members, along with some . We also have a genderless member in our midsts, we have identified it as Starcraftmazter. Umbrella Umbrella continues to grow through massive tech purchasing, advanced back-collects, and new additions to our membership. Over the past month, efforts have been made to increase slot-usage efficiency and to reform our diplomatic departments. We've also seen the opening kickoff to our fantasy football league with none other than Epiphanus of Kronos achieving the highest score in week one. In the coming month, those of you with Umbrella embassies can expect to see a more thorough coverage of our affairs as well as great opportunities to interact with the alliance. Closing Remarks We were sad to see our friends in the Blue Turtle Alliance part ways. We wish them luck in their new home. There are quite a few good alliances over there. If you are a black team alliance or nation and are not part of NOIR (why aren't you apart of NOIR?!), send me a PM here or via my nation of Aurelius to submit an article and/or alliance blurb to be posted in the next issue. Here's a free hint, if you're into money/tech: The image is the puzzle, in case you didn't know. It seems like a bunch of rambling words, right? Why might I have posted that as an image instead of as a copy-paste of text? And when I say the answer is Person/Place, it is a person, but there is also a place/street/etc. with the same name. To receive a free hint: solve the anagrams. PM me with the answers, and I will give you the hint in PM, with the hint posted in the thread the next day. Post the answers in the thread and... well, everyone will get the hint immediately, but maybe the winner will give you a third of the prize for being so generous. ^Now, I only posted the above in case people were confused.
