JerreyRough
Make me one of the GMs. Just like most places, actually asking to be a GM usually results in the opposite, excluding rare cases. Up to around this point I was aiming for that, but as you can see I most likely would not be able to handle it.
Firestorm
Lol, yeah I know.. that's why I asked. I wouldn't wish the job on my worst enemy. If I wanted to be a GM I'd start my own parrallel CN world with a new map and pre-establish the community rules. Only those who agreed to a simple set of rules would be allowed to play. Manetheren
IMO needs to be somebody more closely related to the NC. That way, nobody can complain about GM bias

Madame Unicorn
I'm sorry to say this, but Sarah wouldn't be good as a GM... She's way too lovely and being a GM, looks like it kills your soul (which is why LVN comes across as a soulless heartless... Well you know). GMs do a good job. But you lot think it's cool to flame them when they suggest something you don't agree with. IE, tech scale. Half of that thread was just arguing over pointless BS. Do we all need to enrol in Creativity 101? Decent IC RPs make CNRP fun. Not all the OOC arguing and petty disagreements. And yeah at least one person will rip me up over this post. Well fine. But here's a piece of advice. Grow up.

Madame Unicorn
Lies. Creativity is endless. Yeah there are rules. But who, (apart from Maelstrom) wants to RP a lizard (sorry if that's incorrect btw)? People need to open up their minds. And actually shut up with the insults. One can think of only so many things in my lifetime, because the brain doesn't have the capacity or knowledge for more badass or awesome things. Once as the Vatican bomber and again as candidate Hacker, a crazy Socialist with heavy Nord beliefs.

Tahsir
Rules limit the possible creative ideas because some of the ideas tend to be absolutely silly, like say becoming an invincible god creature that is 5000 feet high and can shatter the universe with a single fart. However the rules are about to get to the point that rather that preventing just bad roleplay they are going to harm other roleplayers for the advantage of only a few. Subtleknifewielder
You'll find out soon enough. I suppose so... *sigh* Rules limit the possible creative ideas because some of the ideas tend to be absolutely silly, like say becoming an invincible god creature that is 5000 feet high and can shatter the universe with a single fart. However the rules are about to get to the point that rather that preventing just bad roleplay they are going to harm other roleplayers for the advantage of only a few. That's the thing about rules. No one rule is going to be like by everyone. the tricky part is finding a compromise, a compromise that no one may be completely happy with, but everyone will at least abide by. Madame Unicorn
So do you think I'm soulless? *struggles to hold back tears* No, I don't. But people who make your job harder probably think you're soulless. Sumeragi
The less GMs giverns, the better. Possible my only libertarian view concerning CNRP.
JerreyRough
The less GMs giverns, the better.Possible my only libertarian view concerning CNRP. Hmm? If we have more GM's, then major GM-type decisions will have a wider variety of opinions, resulting in a more non-opinionated result (not that I'm saying that current decisions are opinionated) that is usually better than a smaller number of GM's. Can't have too many, but a little variety helps.
Shadowsage
If we're looking for a new GM, Jed would definitely have my vote. Normally a very thoughtful, understanding kind of person.
Il Terra Di Agea
Honestly, I don't care who the new GM is, as long as the double standards and BS stop. The GMs shouldn't be forcing rules on people without notice or support, they should have to follow the rules just like everyone else, they should not support double standards (Fun fact: I'm not talking about Subtle). We need a GM (Or two if my wish come true) who will keep up the rules without making ones up and forcing everybody but themselves to follow them. I suggest Jed, and/ or Lynneth. They both are level headed, logical, stay relatively calm, are willing to stand by their positions, and they are both good RPers. My two cents.
