The government has also decided to reinstate the ban on all private ownership to motor vehicles. Citing it as a polluting agent the government banned all motor vehicles when the nation was created but later rescinded the ban in 2017. Qinhuangdao Beach Re-Opened

The Qinhuangdao coast line has been closed since 2011. The reason was because of the various mines that were placed there when the PRC annexed the NPR. Since then the process of removing the mines were long and by 2015 nearly 6000 Anti-Personal mines were disarmed. Since then the beach has been surveyed for any more mines and has finally been cleared for use by the public. As of now the beach has been opened for public usage again.

War!

As the world tears itself into war again, the PRC has reduced its DefCon level from 2 to 5 as there is no problem to face with nations tearing itself apart. Especially when the war has already been won, with cowardice being showed as usual. The PRC is neutral, only because this war is idiotic. Nevertheless our air space is closed to any of the warring nations etc.....

"WE would rather you stayed out of this war, it is not our war. We have changed our views of support to winning side. Especially with idiots like New Canada(right?) and cowardice being shown by the HAE. We would much rather fight for Tahoe then be on the same side as Australia or New Canada. We shall not honour our MADP if you do go into war, as the non-chaining clause comes into effect.

Private to PRC

We have unfortunately already committed our forces and would be now impossible to withdraw. We understand your rationale, but we feel it would be wise for us to see this war through. We shall indeed honor your wishes in activating the non-chaining clause as the right decision for you. Had your wishes in this matter been shared earlier perhaps our involvement could have been further limited.

OOC: Minor note...your post metagamed to a degree...I had not at that point given any indication I was joining the war at all, much less against Tahoe.

A New centre to take care of the PRC's air defense has been created. The centre falls under the PLAF and will be run by the PLAF. The Strategic Defense Initiative and the Anti-Air Defense Network shall be working hand in hand. The PRCSA (PRC Space Agency) will also be working with the AADN to maintain the safety of the Chinese air. For testing purposes the PRC air space is closed to all foreign aircraft excluding Triple Entente aircrafts.

OOC: I don't have a space programme but I do have satellites. Also I just bought an AADN :lol1:

Twelfth Independence Day

Today is the twelfth independence day celebration for the PRC. Twelve glorious years where the PRC has grown in all fields. Not as strong as it was three years ago because of various internal problems, the PRC has survived and grown. The President gave his Independence Day Speech on areas where the government would work to improve and accomplishments of the past year. He also spoke about the resignation of Megan Fox as Premier of the PRC and she would be replaced by Bai Ling. Ms.Ling has had a glorious career in the Communist Party. A rather silent but hard worker she has risen through the ranks and has finally been appointed Premier of the People's Republic of China. Ms.Fox has retired after twelve years of work for the PRC. She has decided to move to Bangkok where she has been appointed as Deputy Governor and Head of the newly formed committee for People's Right.

"The United States of China is glad that this premier is at least actually Chinese and not a carpet bagger like the previous premier. We hope that this new reign is marked by the emergence of multiple voices and a return to the great traditions."

The Armed forces on huge growth spurt

Recently, the new recruitment drive for the armed forces has given great results. The army alone stands at nearly 450,000 the highest since the demilitarization law passed almost 5 years ago. Since then several issues have risen and that the government has withdrawn that law and as of now re-militarization is in process. The Air Force wing has also been increased with man power of almost 50,000. The Government hopes to reach 500,000 troops by the end of this year and 60,000 in the air force. The government has decreased the DefCon from 1 to 5. This is the first time the government has decreased the DefCon level since the Lu- PRC conflict.

Declaration of Annexation

As of now the PRC government has declared that all former Acca Dacca lands under the control of the PRC will become an Autonomous Republic. That said, the head of state of Acca Dacca will be the Chinese President but they shall have a democratically elected Prime Minister that must be a citizen of the former nation of Acca Dacca only. No Chinese citizen may run or interfere in the workings of the elections in Acca Dacca. The citizens are assured the rights and freedom of the former Acca Dacca nation. The Military of Acca Dacca shall be an extension of the PLA, with 75,000 soldiers stationed in the state of Acca Dacca at all times. The elections for a new prime minister shall begin soon, once the registration for political parties in the electoral list is complete. Acca Dacca will also be allowed to decide its own Foreign Policy, and the capital shall be located in Bangkok.

*Private*

The Strategic Missile Defense, has recently sent another satellite into orbit to help spread the web of defenses over Acca Dacca. A centre to monitor the defenses of Acca Dacca was set up in Phnom Penh. The city of Phnom Penh was where the headquarters of the Acca Dacca National Guard was set up. A message was sent to UMS,
To: The Head of State of UMS
From: President of PRC Rorschach

Respected leader,

We have recently noticed an UMS military base in Acca Dacca. As allies we see no reason to shut down the base and as of now you are allowed to use the base as per the rules set up with the former nation of Acca Dacca. Much like our base at Douala, we shall support your base by supplying it with whatever goods you wish for.

Regards,

President Rorschach
We find this move highly disturbing yet somehow unsurprising by the PRC. The United States of China favors national sovereignty of the peoples of Asia. This eerily reminds us of the legacy of UFE encroachment on other lands.

"How is this encroaching?"
Is this really a serious question when you just outright annexed 85 percent of South East Asia? Most of the land you've annexed is not even historically culturally Chinese. Vietnam is, but the rest is not. We believe that this land would be much better off in the form or protectorates that were put on the path to complete self governance and national sovereignty.

"We never said it was culturally Chinese. That is why it is autonomous. We were given this land by Acca Dacca to keep it out of anarchy. We have respected all the rules set forth by the previous government, and given them every damn right. We aren't mad enough to control this directly. Elections for their own government will take place soon, from which by the way we have banned the communist party from running. So how in lords name is this anything like what UFE might do?"

"You are not the first to have two systems in one country. Your essentially separating the civil services from those that really matter security services. Do not think for one moment that we are fooled, the SE Asian countries should be free from military occupation of any country and able to determine their own destiny without a gun pointed at them."

OOC: You got a huge monopoly on Asian land already, is it that hard to make it open for others to get. And if you have it marked as yours rather than just a protectorate, I'd bet a lot of people wouldn't even think to ask.
