Machiabelly
Well, my suggestion was no HQ until war, and to rotate meetings. If we must pick a permanenet HQ then I will abstain from voting as it makes no difference to us, and any vote would appear to be a favouritism vote
James Wilson
Well we need somewhere to meet and talk.
USNA
We vote aye on the entrance of the Cainan Empire. We also need to find a good and relatively safe headquarters although I do think that in the event of a war it should be moved somewhere safer if it is threatened. That being said we do need a place for representatives such as ourselves to meet and discuss things unless you all want to do it by video phone? We'd be relatively open to that as well but if we go down that path we need to create some landlines which should be impervious to tampering, jamming, and EMPs. The Republic
I would Say Dell Land for Peace Time, and Either IoA or WE for Times of War.

V The King
We're wondering about our application, how it looks for the time being? Also, in case there is an interest in rotating HQ's within the organization, the city of Prince George, located deep within the state of Columbina could be used as a meeting site: it is protected by the Rockies in the East, West and North and the South is easily defensible, with proper aircraft related facilities, bunkers, fortifications, fallout shelters and home to the Luso-Guerreiro regiment, along with components of other regiments and a number of battalions. Manetheren
Tahoe would be interested in joining this pact in the sense of American unity, however, there are two problems. First, the Charter fails to mention a specific and total declaration of anti-colonialism. The American nations need to be banded together to prevent foreign nations from establishing any colony of any type on the American continents. America is for the Americans. Second, worrying more about the host city than real issues is a display that is, frankly, disappointing. Such trivialities brought the UES down, and if the ATO wishes to rise above and provide true stability for the Americas, we need not worry about such a thing. USNA
The Cainan Empire is now a part of the American Treaty Organization We're wondering about our application, how it looks for the time being? Also, in case there is an interest in rotating HQ's within the organization, the city of Prince George, located deep within the state of Columbina could be used as a meeting site: it is protected by the Rockies in the East, West and North and the South is easily defensible, with proper aircraft related facilities, bunkers, fortifications, fallout shelters and home to the Luso-Guerreiro regiment, along with components of other regiments and a number of battalions. I believe we should just go with our peacetime headquarters in Dell Land and in the event of a war either the Imperium of America, the Wilson Empire, or Viniland depending on which is furthest from the main theater of action. If all are agreed we can start a vote for this as we see the peacetime location of the HQ as a rather trivial matter. We also vote aye on the entrance of Viniland. Didn't you want to be excluded from some articles of the ATO for the meantime? Tahoe would be interested in joining this pact in the sense of American unity, however, there are two problems.First, the Charter fails to mention a specific and total declaration of anti-colonialism. The American nations need to be banded together to prevent foreign nations from establishing any colony of any type on the American continents. America is for the Americans. The American Treaty Organization is not an anti-colonial organization. While we would probably go against it it is not the mandate of the ATO to oppose all attempts at colonization. If the establishment of a colony leads to instability to the region then actions will be taken but if it doesn't harm anyone we're not going to make a big deal out of it. James Wilson
Aye on Viniland. And to respond to Tahoe's statement: We were not formed to prevent Other nations from colonizing America. We were formed because we like each other. I will not vote on Tahoe's entrance yet as we are uncertain of it as Tahoe has a questionable past. V The King
We also vote aye on the entrance of Viniland. Didn't you want to be excluded from some articles of the ATO for the meantime? This would be correct. We won't sign articles IV and V for the time being, but will do so once our relations with other ATO nations are well improved. The FSM
Okhrana will vote aye on Viniland. In regards to the statements made by Tahoe, while we dont see the ATO as an overty anti-colonial force it is at least our opinion that should overt and large scale acts of colonialism be brought to the America's that the ATO should intervene as an anti-colonial force. While we feel it is often in the best interests of all for nations to establish smaller exclaves or colonies for the sake of improving trade and travel access to an area we would be firmly opposed to non-america's nations laying claim to large swaths of the Western Hemisphere. In the event such a situation were to arise the Kingdom of Okhrana would certainly push for the ATO to take action. That, however, is merely our own thoughts on the matter. James Wilson
A note to members. The alliance has a council made of the founding members(USNA, WE, KoO) and as of right now one elected member (PEI). Depending on the number of members, those elected to the council may be increased. USNA
As it has been a while and there is a majority in favor Viniland will become a special member of the American Treaty Organization excluded from articles IV and V of the Charter. USNA
We are calling an emergency meeting concerning the despicable attack upon the capital of the Imperium of America as well as a promise of utter destruction. For one we see this as a direct attack upon a treaty member and believe that defensive assets should be deployed to assist.
