And I would argue you get to know an alliance far better fighting against them than you would from any Q&A or through some small talk between gov members. In a war not only do the gov members get to know each other really well but the entire membership interacts with the enemy too. I can certainly think of worse ways for a treaty to be born. I don't know why this has ended the way it has, if I had to guess it was because of a big change in respective governments.

For anyone congratulating us, I don't think we're better off without having Fark as a friend and ally at all. This treaty has not been cancelled because we want to end our relationship with Fark, it has been cancelled because that relationship was already dead in all but paper.

Can't say I entirely agree with certain aspects of the post, but congrats on an interesting year A solid achievement.

A couple of days ago [b]Farkistan[/b] were given notice of our intent to activate the cancellation clause of the 'Uh, I think We’re Doing It Wrong' treaty. The 48 hour notification period has passed, the treaty is now considered cancelled. We wish Fark all the best, and hope the relationship can eventually be restored to what it once was.

Shocking development, when Wicked was promoted to MoD I was sure it meant certain victory for the other side Congrats to all parties.

Pretty obvious this is a PR stunt, as it is far easier and more effective to tell the alliances you're at war with privately. Not that I'm critisising you for it. That being said, I'm pretty sure all the alliances on the C&G side were already aware that the significantly weaker side (NS wise anyway) that will eventually lose the war would be content (more like delighted) to accept a termless surrender from the larger side. I doubt this is really going to change anything.

Going to the 57th would have given you the opportunity to verify whether the images are real or fake or at the very least give you a better idea. If after all that you still felt they were guilty and declared war, then at least you could have said you did a little more to get to the truth. Anyway, glad to see a ceasefire while that takes place.
