1. Congrats, got a great collection of members there.. shame you had to spoil it by acquiring Evry
2. "you're going to have your heads kicked in?" Aimed at anyone in particular?
3.
Good luck to both of you, I love you both, even more now that you got rid of Goon at last
Sad to see someone I disrespect showing such bitterness.
4. Can't say I didn't see this coming, still sad though
5.
Evidently not enough have. Cause most of them ar still foaming at the mouth on here.
Given you want to sanction everything with a pulse I'm not surprised, no one likes looking for trades.
6.
We're just absolutely sick of the constant, pointless bickering and whining in every GOONS thread. It's absolutely pathetic. If you hate us so much, attack us. Stop whining about us and trying to make us "look bad".
Evidently, plenty have. I don't think anyone needs to try and make you look bad, you manage that all on your own.
7. I'm jealous.
If you want to recognize these rogues as an alliance that's your choice. I don't support setting the precedence that any rouge can post a DoE and be immune to sanctions. I also doubt GOONS will struggle with these rogues, seeing they somehow managed to hit half a dozen SDI nation midrange, way to maximize damage there.
I don't like the precedence than any rogue senetor can declare an entire alliance rogue and decide to sanction them.
8. It's getting harder to distinguish between neutral and non-neutral alliances. Neither contribute to any real politics, neither are very interesting and both sets are more concenred with survival than success. I don't mind neutral alliances, at least they have an excuse for being dull.
9.
Goonited who are far from safe with both Ravens FC and FC Polar Samurai a chance to claim the second promotion place if Goonited slip up at home to Wolverines on Tuesday.
Bit of a contradiction isn't it? The fact I'm playing Wolverines means my 2nd place finish is all but certain.
10. One of these days you'll have a real declaration and no one will read it, that'll teach you. Nice to see Uhtred back though.
11. Who cares. Wars were only ever the culmination of the real drama and politics that preceded it in the months before and we've not had anything like that since Karma. The next war will look like an unorganised mess, with absolutely nothing riding on it, it will start over something silly and pointless, both sides will come out with unbearable propaganda that makes little sense, one side will lose and baw about it being unfair and so on.
12.
If you're willing to break a treaty the consequences of breaking any post-cancellation clauses on a normal treaty is the comparable scenario. Generally speaking the post-cancellation clauses involve some sort of NAP, so that breaking them involves war, but then direct comparison would be breaking an eternal treaty and declaring war. The main difference is that with an eternal treaty you're guaranteed to upset people as much as possible while normal treaties provide some secondary option in addition.
In terms of breaking the treaty, sure. I was talking about in practice rather than in principle. The point I'm trying to get at is, if an alliance gets to the point where it wants to cancel a treaty, no clause telling them they can't is going to stop them from cancelling it, as proven by all these eternal treaties that have proven to be not so eternal. So in the end of the day it's basically like every other treaty except without the post-cancellation clauses.
13. I said before treaties without cancellation clauses are actually less of a commitment than your standard treaty, since all it means is you're not tied down by a cool off period or whatever.
14. Alright, who's responsible for section 2 I've only just noticed. Still, glad to see this finally done I suppose.
15.
Yeah..about that list
Yeah, I can't believe Twill forgot GATO.
16. We should have gone for 'Lensip', its genius.
Wicked asked we say bad things about Goon ... but why ?
Because he's jealous of me.
17. Had we known it would result in so many terrible puns, I'm sure we would have chosen something else.
18. 1 Year Mergers quite often look promising on paper but fail to work out in practice, whether it’s down to friction between membership, disagreements between the two respective governments or a clash in policies and ideals. When LEN and OTF merged to form Silence we never thought these things would be an issue, and I’m delighted to say 1 year on we’ve been proved right. We would obviously like to thank all our allies, past and present, for their support, in particular STA who leapt to our defence without hesitation It’s also important to recognise the contribution made by the members, the government past or present, and those who put their nations on the line for the alliance. Thanks guys. Special shout out to two former members, Bagpuss, who has been a key figure in the alliance since the beginning, serving as a Trium for the past 12 months while torturing us with endless talk about his trips to Miley Cyrus concerts, and Scorcher who contributed much as a Trium and Gov member, particularly during war time, while also torturing us with his annoying Welsh accent. 5th Triumvirate On to official business. I am happy to present the new government of Silence for the next 3 month term. Trium: Goon, Evry, Daemon Justice: Daemon Minister of Interior: DarkTurn Minister of Recruitment: Geriko Minister of Education: Remox Minister of Foreign Affairs: Twill Minister of Finance: tswsl1989 Minister of Trade: Yamin Minister of Defence: Auditore World domination awaits. Q&A We would also like to take the opportunity to answer any questions you folks may have. So yeah, fire away.
19.
Silence - 2 - Don't know much about them but I think they're allied to NSO
Evidently. We're not allied to them at all.
20. Is there anything you would change on Brown? What is your ideal future for Brown? How would you evaluate the current relationships on brown?
21. I call shens for obvious reasons. Unless... you expected us to think that and the real april fools is this actually being real. Yeah, you can't fool me
22.
Harsh. What's happened to Goon anyway?
Taking a break, dealing with wickedj and poyples jealousy feuled hate is quite draining.
23. Hi GATO, I love you guys but if you could stop growing for a while or even lose some score that would be great
