NPO was shaking in her boots (that's what I perceived as a regular member) when Vox was around, because there was nothing else to do but to issue radio silence as there was no real physical way to harm already-ZId nations.

I can confirm that I didn't know about the Shadow Conspiracy. I was the guy who sent the messages to attack (Assistant Director of Defense or something like that). I was told our CB was that they dishonored us and stuff. After it was discovered that it was a conspiracy, I left BDC and joined NPO because I wanted to have war which was real and not engineered, only to find that my friends were to be made enemies of NPO later. That war was also engineered. I came back to what was left of BDC later by joining DE. So, this conspiracy took me away from friends for 6 months or something like that. Is it not something a man who has been told a great lie would do? It cannot be disputed that Z was the only one from BDC who knew about the falseness of the war. EDIT: Also, claiming that the war was because of the BDC people's greed is ridiculous. We had a very well functioning tech store and the only reason war would have been supported was to defend our honor. Reps? Meh, I thought it was just something trivial that came with the war.

Not to say I like the way they raid in the manner you have stated, but isn't that in a way their right to define it? Who knows if it's simply either lies that they didn't follow their own laws, or perhaps lack of enforcement. Using CMs and AC for training is also feasible. So they may call it what they want, we don't need to think it's a raid, more of an unannounced war I guess. However my point being, as sovereign they have the right to choose, their choice isn't popular with us but it's still their choice to make. Now let me make clear that this is me speaking as objectively as I can, as a query question shows I should be bashing IS right now: <Panginoon> so tell me you are not on IS' side? Didn't we (DE) dislike them with a passion? Putting personal opinions aside makes it easier to determine what's just and what's apparently not. I could say that IS this and IS that, but in the end I'd feel like a bully myself. Hence what Menotah does by seeking a peaceful solution is good (better than saying "go get them for what they did to you"). After considering all this, it would seem that there are factors that I'm unaware of, such as the possibility of provocation, and ultimately due to my morality being based on the most possibly just viewpoint which requires more 'evidence' to come up, I cannot choose a side yet (if there even is a need for it really). It will be interesting to see how things turn out as more facts come out..

Unless evidence of provocation can be found, which under the circumstances seems rather unlikely, there should be white peace. There are simply too many things that cannot be proven right now.

If you irritate somebody who's bigger than you when you have no treaties, you're asking to be attacked. When you then make it a PR thing, of course people will support the little guy. But now that the PR is on the little guys side, the bigger guy suddenly has the world against them and is in fact the one being bullied by the world. This reminds me of a smaller child calling a bigger child stupid, causing the bigger child to respond with hitting the small child while an adult sees this and rescues the small child and punishes the bigger child. Let's instead save the children and not point fingers at either of them and instead see who's pulling the strings and judge on from there. If there's something I haven't heard the above metaphor might be wrong. No bad intentions to anybody were intended. Just want everybody to look at this from the other perspective as well.

Wrong and right are in the eye of the beholder. Knowing Joey, I can't tell if he's bandwagoning or not, although who says he's wrong in doing so? Instead, Londo is making an observation, in a way stating the obvious. Lalala diplomacy is good nevertheless.

Hi Myworld Hi Runz Hi all the people in Ether and hi to all the people who I didn't mention above but who are as helloable as everybody else A special hello to the guy from Pittsburgh who designed Custom 57. NOIR is a fine economical establishment which has been in the makings since the raccoon was in charge (or w/e) and even before that. I sincerely, with a rather mellow face, hope people will see past petty differences and keep united through NOIR.

I joined my first alliance, the Armed Coalition of Disturbed Countries, because of a promise to receive 500K for joining and because I liked the name (the acronym ACDC like the band ). I got that money and much, much more. Never say never, you should never make absolute assumptions. While one alliance may not have kept up to their promise that is no justification to label all alliances as untrustworthy.

I'm glad this got resolved so quickly. I'm even more glad that my offer for assistance (through PM) wasn't a lone act of kindness as NpO offered their protection already

Splendid. However as this doctrine basically states just what any sovereign alliance already can do, I think of it as a way for Ivan to claim back his name from another now dead doctrine. So really, other alliances already have this and thus the fix is unnecessary although I appreciate it

We will never get rid of this doctrine xD no matter what is done, it just reforms and reappears. Hopefully this time it will not be used to destroy smaller alliances but to enable NSO to do what is right.
