1. I don't understand the pride that doesn't allow folks to use the words "surrender" or "defeat". Olympus has lost wars. We've lost wars before we ever declared them. I never had an issue with surrendering at the end of them because our purpose in entering the war to begin with was to support our allies--to sustain damage ourselves so they sustained less and to cause as much damage as we could in the process. Despite surrendering (despite losing even), we had a lot to hold our heads high for. And this is going to come as a shock for folks, but those losing wars were awesome for Olympus and I don't mean just on getting us to focus on growing stronger. Those losing wars brought our membership together in ways that a winning war never could. Losing a war--even losing it heartily--can be good for your alliance if you work to make it so. Maybe the prideful stubbornness stems from the parties on the "not winning" side (since we're pretending the words losing or defeated don't exist) not having anything except that refusal to surrender to be proud of this war. It's a shame that it seems the opportunity to use this loss at war to actually win at what is important was not embraced. Congratulations on victory to everyone fighting with us. It was a pleasure getting to work with new folks and working to accomplish common goals. Special thanks to PF. We love you guys. And congratulations on whatever good you're able to take out of this war, Sparta.
 2. Shout out to sigmundfreud of Sparta. I already told you privately, but I want you to know that I really meant it. I admire the way you fought and never gave up even against huge odds. That you fought to the end and caused every pixel of damage you could instead of turtle-ing earned huge respect. Kudos. Your alliance should be very proud to count you among their members.
 3. Here's hoping Stets gets another war slot soon or he's likely to explode all over my channel
 4.
In all seriousness, I'm sure Oly won't have the fun all by themselves for too much longer.
We're not having fun all by ourselves now. We've got our besties with us
 5.
Yes but Olympus has 17 in anarchy.Or had at the time of me posting this.
Olympus has also been in war long enough to get nuked. . .GO? Not so much
 6. Congrats Schatt and CoJ. You've picked up an awesome ally in Sigrun.
 7. The race is on Inq. BAPS or Olympus to 1M first?
 8.
Last war Valhalla had seven MDP+ allies under attack and done nothing. I'll list them for you, since I'm a nice guy. Olympus MCXA BTA Exodus Molon Labe Dark Templar Nordreich
Olympus was not "under attack" in the NPO/DH war. Olympus was at war, but we were never declared on. Most of Valhalla's treaties are non-chaining. Ours isn't. But there was never any reason for us to activate that treaty (chaining or not) as we were not countered. I imagine not countering us was part of the opposition's strategy for that reason.
I'm sure RIA will come eventually, but we've all left allies out to dry before (even the great MK!) so let's not start calling people out just yet.
No, no. Not all of us have.
 9.
But I thought you had Valhalla to prove why Olympus does not need WRCs... Also, great gov lineup.
Lol. Not exactly. . . Valhalla WRC percentage: 24.9 Olympus WRC percentage: 39.4 BAPS proves why Olympus doesn't need WRCs. 71.4% of their members have WRCs
 10.
My congratulations to the new Olympus government, good luck to them all. P.S. Your minister of defense is really nice queenhailee
What are you trying to do to me? Nobody in Defense is nice. We're tough. Tough and mean. Tough and mean and ugly! /me waves the people away. Nothing to see here folks. He's just a little delusional band
 11. Congratulations to both Joe and Tronix as you start this new era on CN
 12. Congratulations, Alex. I think this was a very wise choice.
 13. Congratulations to our friends and allies in NPO. And those guys from that other alliance too. Good move. NPO has some awesome people
 14. The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. ~Michelangelo Back in the days when Olympus was only a dream, we set out to make her something outside of the ordinary. We wanted a different focus, different goals than others in this realm. If we were to err, we wanted to aim too high and fall short rather than aiming low and settling for too little. We want our milestone announcements to be like that too. We’ll wait until we can share that we’ve exceeded the usual goals—that we’re still aiming high. Today, we’d like to share that Olympus is more than 1000 days old, And Olympus now has more than 1000 nukes and has grown to more than 3,000,000 NS I’m proud of our family and what we’ve accomplished together. I’m also thankful to our allies and friends who have stood by us and made our success so far possible. I’m looking forward to what we can all accomplish together next. To celebrate, we commissioned Graphix of Valhalla to design new flags for us. I present the Olympus standard: And our new War Flag: Graphix, we can't thank you enough for these. We're very proud to have these beautiful flags represent us to the world. Someday we'll find a way to repay you. We have also installed an arcade on our forums and will be having a marathon tournament from today until our 3rd anniversary on December 8. Come and play. There will be cash and tech prizes available.
 15. Congrats Stets and company! I'm looking forward to continuing to work with you for the next 3 or 4 and beyond Stets War Joe
 16.
I see you in no hurry to downgrade your treaty with Olympus for example, who would make you burn for the same people who attacked you and your allies last war...

So are you guys going to downgrade with Olympus and TPF too? Or the only side that you don't want to be part in the next war is SF side and NPO has no problem in burning for DR, Mj and Co.?
I would have a lot less respect for NPO if they didn't put our treaty up for regular review. NPO gov has made a commitment to 421 members to help them be successful. If we didn't also review our treaties regularly, then we wouldn't be doing what is right for our 66 people and that would make us poor leaders. Sometimes leaders have to make hard choices. It's a simple fact you can't do right by your people if you run your FA by emotion.
 17.
Waiting on Brehon, but I doubt he has the cahones to answer my question.
You made me laugh out loud this morning. Brehon lacking cojones. Have you met Brehon? I know this downgrade isn't easy for either NPO or Invicta. They've been a team for a long time. There's been a lot of focus on what's "gone" in this thread. I'm looking forward to watching how each of them grows from here.

 19. Welcome to the family, hubert and Plan Ex. I have faith that you're going to do very well!
 20. Olympus no longer recognizes the legitimacy of anyone claiming to be the leadership of AcTi. None of these people has shown any interest in the well being of their alliance to this point. Therefore, we do not require their sign-off on the peace terms we have been trying to offer for days. These are the terms under which Olympus is ending this war. AcTi nations acted with valor in protecting their home, therefore, all AcTi nations will receive immediate white peace. There are no terms to be fulfilled. All battles are to cease immediately and peace offers are to be sent to all opponents. There is a grace period for attacks until 23:59 Server time (11:59pm) on Monday, August 1. After that time, the attacking nation may be pursued to pay reparations for damages caused. Olympus also offers temporary protection to remaining AcTi members except as noted below. In order to receive protection, nations must move to the Olympus Protected AA. The term of protection will be communicated in private with the members of the AA. Sigrun Vapneir of Confederatio Aesir acted with valor in defending her protectors in AcTi, therefore, Confederatio Aesir will receive white peace. There are no terms to be fulfilled. Olympus also offers temporary protection to Sigrun. Batallion will be engaged for a total of two full war cycles 3v1. There will be no further declarations on Olympus nations during the remainder of this time. At the end of the second cycle, Batallion will receive white peace and be free to go on his way. There is no term of protection being offered to the nation of Offensive Doctrine. Olympus salutes the members of AcTi and wishes them Adminspeed on their journeys. 21.
As of this announcement, AcTi is officially disbanded. All members have been told to go to "Olympus Protected" until they find a new home, unless they want to fight Batallion's personal battles alongside him. The peace deal was unable to be reached because Olympus informed me that the leadership dispute would need to be settled before the peace could happen. While I respect their decision, I do not agree with it, and decided that continued bloodshed of member nations should not happen because of a myself and Batallion quarrelling. Therefore, I disbanded AcTi. Batallion can keep fighting his war; I won't, and I will not try to make AcTi members fight it either. Tedd.
You know the deal we wrote, Teddyyo. You agreed to it, but Batallion did not. He is not interested in a deal for AcTi members until he has a deal worked out for himself. He didn't contact us about beginning to negotiate peace for his nation until late tonight. I can't post a peace agreement that isn't agreed to by the folks claiming leadership of the AA. Posting it and having it rejected afterwards wouldn't have gotten any of us anywhere. The individual peace terms available to your members will keep those who choose it safe. Right now, that's what we'll need to settle for.
 22.
Prehaps you need to send that out to AcTi by message because not everyone comes here or keep slapping them and them being non the wiser...win/win?

This path to peace has been communicated since day one to every engaged member except Batallion. And if it needs to be actually said, the Olympus POW and Olympus Protected AAs are under our protection. Batallion, it is beyond my belief that I am more concerned about your members than you are.
Already taken care of. Beginning on day one and repeated.
 23.
1. Battalion, your an idiot. This announcement is signed by teddy and your kicking him out? I'm confused, you must be joking or something cause that is not how government works when you have triums. 2. Polaris, you are really using sanctions? Is acti giving Olympus that much trouble? WEAK SAUCE. If you want in on the fight, all you have to do is ask olympus and I'm sure they can find you some slots to fill.
Olympus had nothing to do with the placement of sanctions. We were not asked about it or notified that it was happening. You'll have to place that blame elsewhere. And, since it looks like an alliance peace isn't going to work with this power struggle going on, every member of AcTi except Batallion (and who can keep track of whether he is or is not a member right now), has easy peace available. If you're an AcTi member reading this and want to end your wars, send a peace offer to your opponents and change your AA to Olympus Protected or to any alliance you want to join (following their requirements, of course). By doing this you are agreeing not to re-enter the conflict and your wars will end. This path to peace has been communicated since day one to every engaged member except Batallion. And if it needs to be actually said, the Olympus POW and Olympus Protected AAs are under our protection. Batallion, it is beyond my belief that I am more concerned about your members than you are.
