  1. Huh, Grub is saying he loves Sengoku. Looks like the time is near.
  2. Dude, it was two nations. Admittedly, one of which was a Sengoku government member; still, we got hit by one Non Grata government member post-peace; it got worked out (although I admit the fact of being hit by government did make us mobilize for a possible continuation of the war). Your pronouncement would be reasonable if it had been a few days, but when it's this soon after the attacks you're kinda going overboard. Just get reps, and be glad you didn't have to deal with Polar shortchanging you for them.
  3. Oh look, it's TBM. Hi. Schatt is still around, in Polar now. (Perhaps you already knew that, but eh whatever. )
  4. All peace agreements violate sovereignty, as they restrict an alliance's right to declare war. This one unfortunately has a no-time-limit term on it with a vague word at its core. Still, I find it pretty unlikely that Oculus is looking for another fight with SNX, for the rather obvious reason that Mogar pointed out. So it's probably just the usual bad drafting, which has been a problem in many peace agreements well before the existence of Oculus.
  5. Wars declared post-peace-agreement are sadly still fairly common, but they normally get resolved with reps, usually from the nation that violated orders to attack.
  6. It's true, at low NS ranges destroy money becomes really cheap to run.
  7. Presumably SNX has its own banks. I mean, let's face it, if they don't this will be a really quick war.
  8. Aidbombing is usually the main way to win in the crap tier.
  9. What are you talking about with the disband remark? If you're thinking of Doom Kingdom, Caliph wasn't in DK. He left DBDC to join Last Call. And for the last time, Doom Kingdom didn't disband in order to avoid dragging DBDC into a losing war in defense of Kashmir. They disbanded for other reasons. A few of their nations joined Last Call partly to help fight in the war, most went elsewhere.
  10. See, the trouble is when you lose ~2-3 years worth of tech importation in that month or two of warfare. You just can't catch up with the alliance that never fights wars like that. Which would be Umbrella.
  11. It does indeed increase damage, for the short time that you get to keep it if you're in a tough war. When you're in an alliance that at least occasionally fights against the odds, you find that the tech lost in such wars is so immense that there really isn't much point in trying to maximize it. You are better off focussing on other factors that are under your control to maximize damage, and keeping your tech level out of the super-tech range that you only get to stay in if you only fight easy wars.
  12. Fixed that for you. I know, you're from Umbrella, so you probably won't understand what I mean. But other alliances do actually fight when the going gets tough.
  13. Well, if I was defending him, you'd be right. But all I'm doing really is pointing things out. Honestly if I was actually defending any of these clowns, well, I'd need a wash and Last Call would probably be at war again.
  14. SNX didn't attack anyone. You have to actually launch the war to break the NAP.
  15. Huh, and that guy's carrying a navy too. Looks like Junka brought back some Polar nationbuilding skills with him when he returned to SNX.
  16. Things did not end well for chefjoe either (who incidentally was one of the architects of noWedge's downfall). Once TOP and the rest of Citadel had used him to help put Polar and Sponge down, they started cutting ties, and a year after Karma his only real allies were the various Purple alliances and IRON. Valhalla got rolled a few times before merging into AI and launching the attack on Umbrella. You'll note now how well Umbrella and Valhalla are doing. Still, an awful lot of chefjoe's former allies are still around and doing fine. It's the attack dogs who suffer when they're cut loose, not their masters.
  17. He's not a liability, he's an asset. Continuum needed chefjoe to help get their wars started, too.
  18. A casual glance at Scotland's nations shows them to be a bunch of newbie tech sellers. They aren't prepared for a war with Oculus, having them enter would just give the other side a few freebie tech raids.
  19. In general, gutless idiots like you are not willing to issue ultimatums unless they already have significant military backing.
  20. The rogues they helped defend against Kashmir are now in LH's alliance. Look for where President Hardin goes, looks like Oculus is willing to follow.
