On behalf of the Commonwealth of Orange States, we would like to share some news on what has been going on in COS. First off, we decided to do 1 of those things called an election. Yes, we had to do it. At the end of the election period, we found that we have a solid government in place now to help lead us into 2016, to help strive us towards accomplishing our goals as an alliance. The newly elected government begins their reign on January 1st, 2016. The new government is as follows: President: Ziggy Vice President: Leonidas 1 of Sparta Cabinet: Regent of Interior & Education: Threno Regent of Finance: Elmaff Regent of State: Ziggy (Temp) Regent of National Security: Sir Provost Secondly, we decided to also change our charter a little, add a few things, and just make it suit the alliance a little better. As a growing alliance, we feel that the changes w emade make us a beter alliance. From revising our charter, changing some policies, and making our alliance more democratic, we go into 2016 feeling better as a community. Without further adieu, our revised charter:

One where everyone is united in it's prosperity. Our goals are to have a community of unity, prosperity, loyalty, integrity, security, and equality for all our members. COS was started by some old members from Saoirse, when it was disbanded. We would like to thank everyone who helped us get to where we are today. And we would also like to extend a big thank you to Fox Fire of IRON for making our flags. And now, we would like to present you with our Charter, Alliance Information, and Current Government at the time of this Announcement. Also, included in this announcement is our Protectorate Treaty with NADC. Article II: Cooperation Both parties of this treaty agree to cooperate financially, militarily, and socially to the betterment of both alliances. Article III: Security The North Atlantic Defense Coalition agrees to defend the Commonwealth of Orange States against any and all aggression from external sources, using whatever means necessary, including politically, financially, or militarily. The Commonwealth of Orange States reserves the right to assist the North Atlantic Defense Coalition politically, financially, or militarily if they choose, however they are not required to. Article IV: Establishment This treaty shall take effect immediately upon signing. If the Commonwealth of Orange States should ever reach 30 nations or 1,000,000 Nation Strength, this treaty will automatically be reviewed to determine if it should be upgraded. Article V: Dissolution If either signatory determines that they no longer wish to take part in this treaty, they shall notify the other party in private, at which point the treaty will remain in effect for 72 hours. After the 72 hour period the treaty will be considered null and void. Congratulations to the new Gov of R&R... Saoirse and myself wish CMF the best in his future endeavors. Thank you for believing in my vision for Saoirse, CMF. We look forward to continuing the great relationship as we go forward with the Gov.

On behalf of the Saoirse Alliance, I come before you to make a few announcements. First, as you can see above, we decided to make a change with our flag. We held a flag design contest on the RnR forums a few weeks back, and had plenty of designs to choose from, and this is what the membership liked the best. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the design thread. We would like to thank Luckao very much for the winning flag design. Secondly, Saoirse has outgrown our current forums, so we have made a move to some newer forums that offer the alliance better overall benefits, to grow in. Our new forums can be found at: http://twilightspringstudios.com/hosted/saoirse/ Currently, the following alliances have their embassies on the old forums. Atlas, GPA, NPO, SRA, WFF, IRON, RnR, SWC, NADC, TSO. We would like to invite all those alliances, and any new alliances, to come and establish their embassy on the new forums. Thirdly, Saoirse has had some ups and downs over the last year or close to it. But, like alot of alliances, we have made it through the good and bad times. . With everything that has happened in Saoirse, up and down membership, new gov, activity issues,etc. We are still here.And with that said, we are about to celebrate our 1 year anniversary on Planet Bob, since our founding. Saoirse has also decided that we needed to redo our constitution, to better serve our members, and the alliance as a whole. If you wish to read it, then come to our new forums to view it. We would like to send out some big thanks to RnR and Atlas for always being there when we needed anything. You have helped us get to this point, and we can't thank you enough for your advice and support. Finally, we would like to announce the new government of Saoirse. We left a triumvirate style government, to a more simplified style government.
