Your right, there are several details to be "not at ease about". Starting with people leaving just a few days after being elected and ending with who the protector is considering the circumstances.
ODN, I applaud your move, not because I have anything against Legion, but because you are moving forward. Going a different direction than a long time friend is not fun, but it happens all the time.

For the 3rd time in the 3rd different thread, R&R did not seek reps from Echelon because even though they declared on us we never had any wars with them. R&R did give UPN and FEAR white peace in this war because they were solely fighting because of a treaty and had not been part of the problem in the past. Echelon has used her allies to bully other people for a few years and deserve the terms they were given.
As I read this morning I need to go on record. Echelon IMO screwed up when they declared on everybody who was fighting Pacifica. They declared on everybody but only attacked a few. Of course they picked some that have had the biggest issues with Echelon, another mistake.
To those that keep hailing R&R for only taking 1 tech you should realize that we had not a single war with Echelon. Since we were not involved in the fighting we did not sit in on the peace talks. Our side came to us and said we should probably sign off on the terms since they did declare on us so we said our signature would cost 1 tech. That was not meant to me a lulz term, it was meant to be a slap in the face to an alliance that has a long history of using their strong friends to bully others.
Not even forcing him to give up a current government position. He has already abandoned Echelon during the war after spending the whole war in peace mode.
OH WOW, I loved Ronin. It was the only alliance that had me seriously thinking about leaving R&R to join. R&R owed a lot to Ronin from the GWIII days. Good luck.
Don't believe everything you read.
As I see it, since the removal of the BTA name was part of the terms set forth by CIS, once CIS failed to exist that term ended.
