3. Are you going to add ultimaniac?
4. To: Adnan, Acting CEO of Artemis Global From: General Gregor Eivanov, Premier of the Isara Alliance Subject: RE: RE: Contract for a Border Defense System Mr Adnan Excellent. The overall basis of the desired system is a defense system that spans the borders between the Isara Alliance and its neighbours, and will be capable of detecting incoming units and attack; we desire the system to be capable anti-ground, anti-sea, and anti-air attacks; both mobile and static. General Gregor Eivanov, Premier of the Isara Alliance
5. To: Evan Hiley, CEO of Artemis Global From: General Gregor Eivanov, Premier of the Isara Alliance Subject: Contract for a Border Defense System Mr Hiley We are contacting you to discuss the possibility of contracting Artemis Global to construct a border defense system for the Isara Alliance. We are looking for an advanced system that would effectively combat infantry, armoured vehicles, and aircraft. Further details including payment may be discussed upon your acceptance of the contract. General Gregor Eivanov, Premier of the Isara Alliance
6. Elgensreid Province Thousands of Koreans and Hungarians marched through the town, protesting the crackdown, protesting the government's refusal to allow them to leave the nation, shouting "Let us go!" The police began clashing with the marchers, and soon the military was called in, who started firing into the crowd. As people started falling, something unexpected happened. Crack Crack Crack The heads of three soldiers exploded in a red fountain. The troops looked up, and they saw that on the roofs of the building around them, men in black uniforms were aiming their firearms at the soldiers. At that moment, as the soldiers looked in disbelief, the wall of a nearby structure collapsed, and a tank, painted black, wheeled out. The troops had only seconds to think, to stare at the vehicle before it drove right over them and began firing at the other soldiers. The Uprising had begun. Within three days, most of northern Afghanistan was under the rebels, and a certain flag flew from the occupied area. ----------------- General Gregor Eivanov was furious. The rebels had taken the Hindu Kush, and so far all efforts to crush them had failed. It was not only geography that was the problem: the rebels had superior technology, on a level even the Isaran military did not have. Exactly where they got these weapons eluded him. "Where the hell did these rebels get this technology?" Eivanov demanded, staring furiously at the reports of the latest engagements against the rebels. The Isarans had been able to stave off the rebellion in some areas through sheer numbers, and the Isaran victories were marked with overwhelming bloodshed on both sides as the merciless Isaran troops refused to relent. Nevertheless, the rebels were gaining strength. "If we don't find where these scum are getting their support, we'll be faced with an even greater problem," Irina murmured, pacing back and forth. "Our troops are doing their best, but their numbers are dwindling. We're only holding out through sheer manpower and strategy, but if this continues we may have to resort to other weapons." Her eyes met Eivanov's, and the older general scowled. "I don't wish to be forced to resort to that," Irina continued grimly. "But if we can't find where they're getting support, whether it's another nation or an internal source, we'll have no choice." Meanwhile, the Isara Alliance remained silent of the internal strife, and the world would know nothing of the warfare taking place within its borders.
7. I'm in with wheat and cattle. http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=394833
8. Meh. I have expressed dissatisfaction with some parts of the current system--namely, that it is assumed higher tech nations have better trained soldiers. But I don't see this system solving that.
9. The Isara Alliance observes this latest development in Europe, but remains neutral--for the moment, at least.
10. We advice the Larbardor government against transporting tigers in cages attached to the bottoms of helicoptors.
11. The Isara Alliance finds it quite difficult to believe these extremely serious accusations by the government of Legion. You have provided not the slightest shred of evidence to support these accusations whatsoever.
12. "Indeed, that is excellent," Irina withdrew a pen from a pocket in her uniform and quickly signed her own name and signature on the document:
The Isaran Friendship Treaty Preamble The Republic of France and the Isara Alliance hereby enter into a understanding of friendship. Article I. Non Aggression The undersigned nations hereby agree to non-aggression. Neither nation will engage in military or undercover operations against the other. Article II. Economic Cooperation France and Isara hereby agree to reduced tariffs and economic cooperation, encompassing a push for stronger trade ties between their nations. Article III. Cancellation This treaty can be terminated by either signatory at any time, provided that the other nation is made aware of the cancellation 48 hours in advance. This treaty is considered to still be in effect until the 48 hours is up. Signed for the Republic of France, Claire Delacour Interim President Signed for the Isara Alliance Major General Irina Ivanovich
"Thank you, President Delacour, for the tea and the meeting. If our meeting is concluded, I will be on my way back to Isara."
13. Irina nodded, and smiled at Claire's words; a touch of warmth to the battle-hardened face. "I believe that would be a wonderful arrangement, and I'm sure General Eivanov would agree as well. So if you would, perhaps, write up an overall treaty to encompass what has been discussed here, then we can conclude this meeting, and hopefully this will be the beginning of a good friendship between our two nations."
14.
"Of course General, I'll see to your tea right away. Lisette, if you please." Claire said to the maid before turning back to Irina. "Now, as to the formation of an alliance between our peoples. In truth, I know very little about the Isara Alliance and I would rather first learn things about your country to make a better formation of my country's policy with you. You are isolationist yes, but your country also lays between the United Slavic Republics and the Kingdom of Cochin, both very vocal states in the world. Both states we are beginning to pursue relations with as well. The Slavs being part of the Mediterranean Union and the Cochin, a country we have just begun to talk with after warring them in the recent conflict with Germany. So I would like to know the relations you have with your neighbors before France moves further than non-aggression and economic agreements. However as to those agreements, I believe we could have an accord. Yours is a nation I would like to learn much more about." Claire smiled as she tended her own cup of coffee.
"Thank you," Irina said in reference to the tea. "Concerning our relations with our neighbours the USR and Cochin, we have had little in the way of actual diplomatic relations. With the Kingdom of Cochin, we have never had any problems whatsoever. As for the USR...they have several times proven unfriendly to Isara, and have also blatantly misquoted and misrepresented statements by the Isaran government. We ourselves have never made hostile movements against either of the two nations. Other than that, on a wider scale, we have never really had problems with any nation in the world, though clearly someone had a problem with Isara, given the missile attack that occurred some time ago..." Irina trailed off slightly, remembering her friend and fellow leader Major General Andrei Alexeivich, who had been killed in the attack.
15. The architecture in France was certainly far different from the Isara Alliance, though that was only to be expected as France had a much longer and much more...colourful history. Isaran architecture was pragmatic, cold and simple, built to be suitable and cost-efficient. And there were certainly no historical buildings like the Hotel de Ville. It was, Irina supposed, a refreshing break from the (some would say) lifeless, grey buildings that she was used to in Isara. "A cup of green tea would be most welcome, thank you," Irina said. Her face, hardened by years of military service, nevertheless was not at all unfriendly. As she sat down Irina briefly considered giving her condolences for the death of Therese Zelle--a woman who, though Irina had never met, seemed like someone she would very much have liked to meet. Ultimately, she chose to go straight to the point. "I apologise that General Eivanov himself was unable to be present. Indeed, the Isara Alliance has for much of its short history been a neutral, isolationist nation, and that stance has served Isara well for some time. However, General Eivanov and I have come to the conclusion that isolationism, with the world's current situation, can no longer be an option. Instead we believe now is the best time to reach out to potential allies, and allow the world to better understand Isara. "With that said, I would like to discuss the possibility of a trade and economic agreement as well as a non-agression pact: I believe that would be a good start. We may also discuss, now or at a later time, the possibility of a Mutual Defense Pact."
16. Classified Khador "I only wish it to be known that I oppose this measure strongly," Irina Ivanovich spoke with a calm voice, though there was a fierceness behind the words. She was seated at a conference table deep in the central fortress of Khador; seated across from her, suited as she was in military uniform, was General Gregor Eivanov, the premier and military dictator (he preferred simply 'Premier') of the Isara Alliance. "Isara has since its independence been an isolationist, neutral nation, and look at how we have done. To this day, the only time we even came close to conflict was with United Isocoles, and they can be considered...well, an exception." "Yes, all you've said is true," Gregor replied with an almost bored tone of voice to his second in command. "Indeed, not long ago, I too would have been adamantly against this. However, you can see that the world's situation is changing. We are surrounded on all sides by powerful empires--the Kingdom of Cochin, Rebel Army, and, most importantly, the USR. Rebel Army, I cannot say much about. As for Cochin, they have never shown hostility to us, so we have little to fear of them for the moment. My primary concern, then, is the USR. They have already proven quite hostile to Isara, and have blatantly imperialist and expansionist policies--their annexation of United Isocoles has proven that. If we remain isolationist I am concerned that, should the USR invade, we will face them alone. For that reason, the Isara Alliance must now abandon isolationism to move forward diplomatically--this is an ideal first step. Thus, you will be sent to negotiate the possibility of diplomatic with France." Private to France
To Clair Delacour, Interim President of the Eighth French Republic The Isara Alliance is interested in the possibility of opening up diplomatic relations with France. Though we share no common allies, and have not had diplomatic relations in the past--given Isara's isolationist policies up until now--we hope we can begin what we hope will become a history of friendship and goodwill. Thus, if you will allow it, the Isara Alliance would like to send Major General Irina Ivanovich to Paris to discuss the possibility of diplomacy between our two nations. Sincerely, Gregor Eivanov, Premier of the Isara Alliance
17. Classified The first testing of the A-323 Novichok-5 has proven successful, and the first 500 tons have been produced, with another 1500 to be developed as well. The first Sabre missile has been successfully produced and tested; the missile was test launched at the coast and the government has placed an order for another twenty to be produced, with another thirty to follow after the successful production. In order to enforce the Isara Alliance's policy of closed territorial waters, nuclear mines powered by enriched uranium has been placed in areas of entrance to Isaran waters.
18. I think 1980 is too soon. I think 1986 would be a better cut-off date for 'Cold War' technology.
19. Are there any IG requirements for a anti-naval defense/missile system?
20. Classified Permission has been granted to the Isaran National Military Science Institute (INMSI) to begin research and development of chemical weaponry for possible production in the future. The INMSI has already ordered the transfer of materials from the Elgensreid headquarters to a remote base in Khador for testing and development. The INMSI has set an ultimate goal of 500 tons of A-232 Novichok-5, mostly to be stored in bombs and missile warheads. The A-232 Novichok 5 was selected as the first primary agent due to the fact that the only known treatment for it, anticholinergics, are deadly in the amounts needed to treat the effects of the agent. After the first 500 tons of A-232 Novichok-5 are produced without any problems, the INMSI will be set to develop more munitions; the exact amount is to be decided. Project Sabre has been given the go-ahead by the Isaran Military Command (IMC); the project's goal is the development, construction, and successful test launch of an IRBM (Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missile). The specifications of Sabre, as set out by the IMC, are to be 16m high, 1.8m in diametre, 37 tons in weight. The IMC has required the range to be at least 3,000 kilometres, though they hope to increase this number after the Sabre goes into production. The purpose of the Sabre is to have an in-theatre selective targeting capability that will allow it to destroy enemy bases, silos, and other installations with minimal warning. At this point, a two-stage solid propellant engine is being tested by the military for the Sabre, to be equipped once the missile itself is developed and constructed. Public Isaran airspace and waters remain closed off to all who are not granted prior permission to use them.
21. The Isara Alliance is disappointed that we didn't even make it on this list.
22. Classified "Another war in Europe. What a surprise." Public "The Isara Alliance shall remain neutral in yet another foolish European conflict." -General Gregor Eivanov
23. Private to Artemis The Isara Alliance would be interested in purchasing fifteen Forges at 1,327,500 total.
24. --Classified-- "A nation run by schoolgirls has formed in Bering Island," Irina Ivanovich informed General Gregor Eivanov as she flicked through a newspaper. "What? Is that some kind of successor state to that horrible Girltopia rubbish not long ago?" "No, actually...it's a successor state to a former nation. Procintia, I believe you've heard of it." "Procintia? Of course I have. Well, interesting." --Public-- The Isara Alliance will withhold recognition and diplomacy until Slavorussia confirms this.
25. A reputed mapmaker in the Isara Alliance was heard to have said, "I politely request that newly-independent nations think well on what they want to call their nations before I get to drawing the map" before being rushed to the hospital with a broken wrist.
