The point of us declaring on an alliance of similar size, with more nukes and a slightly higher avg NS was so that it wouldn't be easy. Any monkey can down declare on an alliance but a real man picks a fair fight. And I'm sure your stats would be a little worse off than they are if you didn't have two 8k NS nations join Catharsis from Warriors a few days into the fight. Fun war though :)
