1.
What would be that unique commonality that your alliances share between in each other that you have suddenly discovered after all this years?
I think TOP and MK always had quite much in common. But hatred mostly closes your eyes. In that war, soon we found out that there was a huge respect from TOP to MK and from MK to TOP. And passing time, that respect became friendship. I mean, it's not that we signed 3 days after our pre-empting strike. It's not that the treaty was written before the war ended and we just waited until the end of reps to make it public.
 2.
TOP entered the BiPolar war on the side of NpO, an alliance you historically do not like. What guarantee does MK have that you will not pull something like that again? Solution for MK, sign a treaty with TOP.
Following your logic, MK and NPO should be treatied too.... but they aren't.
 3.
TOP and MK are major players in this game. Your actions can tip the balance of power. It is worth taking notice. Hence a “big deal”. Would be interesting how these treaty will develop. Would it suffer the same faith as the MK and NpO treaty? I bet you they thought they could trust each other when they signed it.
To be fair - tell me ONE treaty you can be absolutely sure it will last forever. Do you think we expected our treaty with Grämlins to end up like it ended? Do you think MHA thought the Grämlins treaty will be broken one day? I mean, there wasn't even a cancellation clause... However, I find it more than silly how so many people like to say us that we can't be friends. If you want to play yellow press of Planet Bob, send some paparazzi to take shots who demonstrate this. If you can't, I think you should believe to the directly involved people. There was a feeling in that war, there was a feeling after the war and paying reps, and this feeling ended up in the treaty. Why not earlier? Well, the war forced us to interact, to finish that "Don't talk to them, their evil" attitude.
 4. Hey! Man, you made me search quite a bit to find out who you actually are ;)

 5.
So they honoured a request from MK because they disliked TOP? MK had nothing to do with it? Riiiight.
Wait... let us put in the right order how things happened: 1. NpO was at war. 2. TOP asked if they wanted help. 3. TOP asked what NpO would say if TOP et. al. pre-empted MK. 4. NpO said they would welcome it. 5. NpO told MK that they would be attacked on date X. And now MK did the terrible thing, the most unexpected, infamous and treachery thing which ever happened on Planet Bob: THEY DEFENDED THEMSELVES! Of course, I do understand that you are quite surprised how we can like such an infamous alliance...
 6.
so that now makes FOK, Umbrella, TOP, MK, and VE.
Isn't this a sexy allignment?
 7.
Would that white peace include 30k or something like that in tech deals?
No.
 8. Like I said on our boards: If they don't want white peace, they shouldn't have white peace.
 9.
3) Carpe Diem will issue an apology to the signatories of its surrender on the Polar-Viridian Front and to the Mushroom Kingdom for its breach of terms. [...] Signed for The Order of Paradox: GrandMaster Jenko Grand Chancellor Timberland Grand Hospitallar Skygreenchick
I don't see where they apologized to TOP... so, please, don't pull TOP into this only because it's cool to make TOP responsable for everything. From our side it was like Richard Rahl said: they attacked MK, we defended MK per treaty, we granted white peace afterwards. I don't know how happy CD would have been if we stopped the whole process denying our signature under this treaty. So, please call out CD for signing this thing before calling out TOP.
 10. Welcome in the Rumble, FOK! It's been some time TOP and FOK fought the same war
 11. If you want to avoid making mistakes, you better avoid to do anything. You were a great member and a great guy. We all made mistakes in our carreer over here. So, I can just wish you all the best in your future life... maybe you'll come back somewhere, one day... I'd be happy about that.
 12. This, of course, is one of the better days of my CN carreer. And, I have to admit to be a total wimp in getting FA intel. Although being a member of TOP, I didn't know about this 2 years ago. Please don't laugh at me too much... Gee... we finally made it
 13. One week of war during TOP-CnG war. I fought three MK nations in that week, of course I was clear underdog and suffered hard, but the general feeling was very very friendly, we wrote something like 2 or 3 PM's a day to each other and actually I never enjoyed the game that much as in that week. I even enjoyed sending 50 tech to one of those nations lately as reps... and that means something Alliance-wise maybe the UJW. I was very new in CON government those days and managed aid deliveries between our nations. That was a great experience...
 14.
Any TOP gov that shows no sign of Ojiras tends to be a good one
Fixed something for you... Also, congrats to all the elected....
 15. WOW... there aren't very many such old treaties! Congrazzz to this special anniversary! o/ FOK o/ RnR o/ Orange
 16.
lolwat?
Hey, everyone is flustered seeing me
 17.
The notion that ex-Hegemony don't exist makes me laugh. Sure they exist, they are just fractured. There's Duckroll, Iron Curtain, NPO (which has apparently failed to get a treaty with IRON or TOP), purple... they're all enemies as far as I'm concerned. And if a war were to occur, they would probably roll together.
Yeah, there's also SF you could be afraid of... Of course the alliances exist, but the fact that they are fractured makes ex-Hegemony unexisting. There is a difference between some loose alliance and a group. ex-Hegemony does exist as long as you guys believe in it.
 18.
If they wanted to assist you they could have decided not to sign the terms when they did.
And having IRON continue to be hammered by whole SG? I don't think the situation would have been better for both IRON and DAWN. After all, this whole thing was annoying, but brought much less damage to IRON and DAWN than the war before. And, seen in hindsight, the damage would have been less also for GRE if we greatly outnumbered them in each tier. They would have signed white peace earlier without loosing almost all of their members. I don't want to critizise your alliance for not allowing us to go back to war with gRAMlins. But I'd find it fair if you didn't critizise us for ending this war. If we came to this situation, it wasn't our fault, it wasn't your fault, it wasn't IRON's fault and it wasn't MHA's fault. It was gRAMlins fault in trying an impossible thing. They wanted to bring "something new" to the game without realizing that not everything new does work. I really don't know if that changed something for MHA tough. I don't know when the decision to cancel Härmlins was taken. But I'm rather sure in one thing: TOP had nothing to do with that decision.
 19.
And completely off-topic....OJIRAS!!!!!!!!!
What do you do at this party?
 20.
It's the alliance that !@#$ on your closest ally and kept them at war for a long time while you sat on your $@! doing nothing.
Well, we had to pay reps to some alliances we just surrendered to, and those alliances said quite clearly that they wouldn't tollerate us turning to war. So we talked to IRON and came to the point that the best thing to do was to continue to pay our reps instead of restarting the whole war again. Edit: To add also something on topic... When is a treaty void by its own? Can't we, if two alliances drift apart in order not to be friends any more, assume that cancelling a treaty that should seal such a friendship, is more a formality to end a treaty with no content? Would it be of better serve to both signatories to continue this treaty and e-lawyering themselves out of it each time it should apply? I stand at my point: if the bonds of Härmlins are broken, it's merely gRAMlins fault. And as a contract that rules the property of a non existing good is void, a contract that seals a non existing friendship should be void too.
 21. As long as SG is afraid of a revenge of ex-Heg, the only war I see happening is another curbstomp by SG on certain alliances of that side. Should SG realize that that ex-Heg actually doesn't really exist (many treaties have been cancelled, so that that group isn't really close any more), I see also a C&G/SF split as something likelier as it may appear now. As of now, I also see SF in a stronger position than C&G in an eventual war...
