1.
Please post this again once the claim is assured.
Will do, boss, when I first posted, I wasn't under the impression it was protected. I'll reassert the claim when we got everything tied up IC. Edit: Hundredth post, sorry, just had to edit that in.
 2. The Caspian Clique welcomes its northern neighbor back.
 3. President Sham Dawkins, of the Caspian Clique, would be personally attending this promising meeting.
 4. Secure Transmission to the Holders of the "Central Asian Protectorate"
The Foreign Ministry of the Caspian Clique extends a diplomatic invitation to the nations in possession of the "Central Asian Protectorate" to meet in Ashgabat, Caspia, to discuss the future of our relations and this territory. We hope to see everyone there. President Sham Dawkins
5.
Task Force Caspia Command Response: This is Kazeem, ground force commander, Task Force Caspia, we've withdrawn to a minimum safe distance and are ready to attack on the mines as soon as munitions are discharged and EMP blown. On your go.
6. Transmission, from Caspian Ministry of Defense
The Caspian Clique thanks Soldania for organizing this Arms Fair, we also note that we are planning on also bringing an example of our "Viper" Main Battle Tank, which we did not make note of in our initial RSVP. Apologies for the mix up.
7. Wells struggled to carry Pierre through the doors, but as he had gained the help of a Procinctian Usher who had been on hand for the celebration, the going got much easier. They carried him out through the entrance way and to the streets, and lay him against a large ornate flowerpot outside the building, as people rushed by. The usher took off, but Wells stayed with him, calling out, "This man may have a concussion! I could use some help here to get him to a safe location!" He had re-drawn his pistol, the safety still on, and was looking around at the scattering partygoers.
 8. "We're forwarding the coordinates to your targeting system right now, but we need time to pull back, we need to get a safe distance away before you unleash that bad boy. We'll radio when we're good to go," said Kazeem, over the radio net to the bombardier of the aircraft circling above. Kazeem quickly ordered the coalition forces back to a minimum safe distance, the Viper Main Battle Tanks and Jackrabbit IFVs providing covering fire as the troops retreated away from the mine. "Lets go, double time it," yelled Kazeem, yelled at the Caspian and Australian soldiers, "we need to get to minimum safe distance, or we're going to well-done and served up in a body bag."
 9.
I believe Triyun is holding that part of Dalmatia as a protectorate, so you may want to talk to him first.
This is why I made sure I asked before I started RP'ing it, thanks for the heads up. Edit: Yeah, never mind about my request, saw the update in the German News Thread.
 10. Has the Greater Nordic Empire of Dalmatia been wiped? If so, I have a question, seeing as I'm still working out the mechanics of CNRP, especially in terms to land expansion, is it allowed for a country to take over that white space, or must it create a protectorate first? I'd like to put a protectorate claim over this piece of Earth, if it is allowed. Black - Current Northern Borders of Caspian Clique Red - Expanded Territory/Protectorate IC Response will quickly follow upon reply to question... I'm just a little confused over territorial claims and such, from reading other posts in this thread, and want to make sure I do it right the first time.
 11.
Some municipal elections for mayoral positions in cities have already taken place, but the governor elections or "the big kahuna" as President Dawkins calls it, will occur in a fortnight. Caspian State Gubernatorial Candidates Announced Mike Taillon, Central Asian News Agency Ashgabat, CC – President Sham Dawkins has announced the new candidates for the governors of the Afghan and Turkmen States today, during a press conference regarding the progress of the government. As Dawkins announced at the beginning of his presidency the governors would be elected by the people, but the candidates would be selected by his office and cabinet. As it seems, Dawkins appears to be holding true to his claim that his government would follow along the lines of what he has dubbed a “Meritocratic Oligarchy”. There have been three governor candidates for each state announced; all of them prominent and talented individuals of their respected states. All six of these candidates have given the Central Asian News Agency their biographies and platforms that they hope to accomplish during their annual term in office.

Rasheed al-Falawi (Afghan) – Afghan Development Office, Infrastructure; looking to continue infrastructure improvement of Afghanistan, especially in ensuring outlying villages are electrified and given clean sewer and water systems, and improving travel times between cities through expansion of roads and rail lines, as well as building of more municipal airports
Colonel Omar Kazeem (Afghan) - Caspian Army, Currently Assigned to "Task Force Caspia" in Communist Australia, hero of the Baghlan Counterinsurgency Campaign; looking to focus on improving security throughout the countryside to ensure the insurgency does not continue, as well as reforming internal security and police efficiency in the Afghan state
Dr. Nicole Evers, MD (Afghan) – Manager, Afghan State Hospital, Kabul; hoping to focus on improvement of health care across the Afghan state during her time if elected, particularly nutrition in household as well as introducing medical programs and nutrition in the educational system, that is still being reformed
Vladimir Kozlov (Turkmen) - Board Member, Caspian Petroleum and Chemicals; hoping to expand infrastructure for further economic development of Turkmen state, including increased exploration for rare earths materials, as well as petroleum/natural gas reserves that have not been fully explored along the Caspian coast as well as surveying and planning for future national pipelines
Muhammad Sadat (Turkmen) - Economic Ministry, Educational Division; hoping to improve educational programs of the Turkmen state, as well as championing the creation of a Ministry of Education and Labor for the Caspian national government, so as to bring the Educational Division out from under the yoke of the Economic Ministry and give it more independence, away from an economic aspect
Dr. Kamal Habib (Turkmen) – Professor of Islamic Studies at Caspia University, Ashgabat; hoping to focus on cultural development and preservation during his time as governor, believes it will have a positive economic impact for tourism and improve international relations
Barring any mishaps, the elections will take place two weeks from this very day, as Sham Dawkins is hoping to get his government completed as soon as possible.
12. The Caspian Clique extends diplomatic salutations to the People's French Republic.
 13. The government of the Caspian Clique extends its congratulations to Empress Minori Chihara on this accomplishment.
 14. Public Statement by the Caspian Clique "The Caspian Government recognizes the sanctity of the Yaza Hajin movement's right to free speech, views, and beliefs, therefore its website is not blocked in the Caspian nation. While this does not mean that the Caspian government believes in the rhetoric that is espoused by the Yaza Hajin, in the interests of tolerance, we will not silence that rhetoric. The members of the Islamic community, a substantial number at that, almost thirty-one percent of the population, in the Caspian Clique, share this very same sentiment that the government holds. The Caspian Government is not ruled over by some Zionist cult, and a number of its ministers are practicing and devout Muslims, that is something we can assure the Yaza Hajin's leadership, and the world at large. The Caspian Government has also made significant steps to assure that its Islamic traditions and heritage are remembered by future generations, as one can see through the restoration of the Ertugrul Gazi Mosque, in Ashgabat. This restoration being done, closely watched by Islamic religious officials, as well as the best craftsmen and scholars that the Caspian nation can offer. We wish the Yaza Hajin all the best in its' quest to rid itself of the violent monikers that it has acquired over time." Official Statement from President Sham Dawkins, Caspian Clique
 15. The Caspian Clique extends diplomatic salutations to this new nation, and hopes to see positive relations with this nation.
 16. The Caspian Clique extends diplomatic salutations to this new African Nations, and hopes that relations will be nothing but positive.
 17. Classified The Caspian Clique, being the open society it is, and tolerance towards all religions, would leave access to this website open for its citizens. However, citizens who post messages inciting religious violence on this website, would be closely monitored by the Interior Services Division of the Caspian Government. The government would also monitor the website for inklings of a possible attack on the Clique, and its access would be taken offline, if such statements were made. The Caspian Clique's religious groups live in harmony, as a longstanding tradition of coexistence and tolerance is prevalent and religious violence has not existed for years in the country, as such, their affinity with this website would be limited, even with the large Muslim community.
 18. OOC: Fuel-Air Bombs usually require a heavy delivery system, as they're usually very large weapons, especially to be effective, we're talking a C-130 transport. There are 750-lb weapons, but they'd still need a jet fighter. Not trying to be an asshat, just saying, even the venerable (and insanely awesome/cool) AH-64 Apache needs some help from the big boys high in the sky sometimes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BLU-82 (Here's a 15,000-lb weapon, for example)

This modular gem is a top-of-the-line weapon family that features some of the best quality one can find on the small arms markets. The modularity of this weapon allows for parts interchange between all four versions (Submachinegun - SMG, Assault w/Grenade Launcher, Designated Marksman, Light machinegun - LMG) of this weapon, that cuts down on parts procurement costs, as well as maintenance costs. This allows for smaller governments, with a limited defense budget, to buy a high-tech weapon, that is still cost-effective and provides four different models to work with and give their forces a flexibility in any environment. 22. Inigo Wells saw the the Marscurian diplomat go down, when he heard a clattering near the door. He pointed his flashlight at the fallen diplomat, then began moving back against the flood of humanity. He muttered "excuse mes" and "pardon mes" profusely, before finally reaching the man, and holstering his pistol. He knelt down next to the fallen man, to make sure no one stepped on him. "Uppsy daisy," he said, gently. He quickly dragged him to his feet, and held the fallen man over his shoulder, and struggled to carry him out through the wave of people going to the door.
 23. As soon as the bulk of Task Force Caspia arrived at Norman, the column set off with the Australian force headed for the stronghold, moving in support. Once again, at the head of the Task Force, was Colonel Kazeem, directing two battalions of the Turkmen Hussars Regiment, the "Azrael" or "Angels of Death", to take up supporting positions behind the assaulting Communist Australian forces. Marksmen from the regiment quickly began picking off insurgent forces that surrounded the entrances to the mines. The Caspian forces were reluctant to fire straight into the mines themselves, seeing as every third round in every gun, besides their pistols, was a tracer as was custom to military practice. The tracer rounds could easily set alight the coal or set off a spark in floating in the air, especially kicked up by the now constant explosions. Kazeem radioed back to Konev and Dawson, "Sir, we're going to take massive casualties if we go straight into those mines, we're going to incinerate ourselves if we don't watch it here. Look, I know these coal mines are important to the Communist Australian nation, but we need some sort of weapon here, like a fuel air bomb or something. We need to suck the air out of those damn caves. One bullet pinging off the rock could ignite the coal dust in those mines." "This is your operation General Dawson," said Kazeem, into his radio, "whats your call?"
 24. Wells looked around at some of the bodyguards who looked uneasy as soon as he pulled out his pistol, and he said, into the darkness, "No worries, safety is on, just using it as a flashlight." He put his hand on the barrel, to hold it like a flashlight, although he heard one bodyguard mutter, "Jumpy Civvies." As he made his way to the exit in the dark, he held his flashlight to the floor, and he put the light on the stairs out of the ballroom, so that people could have sure footing. He held the door open, and stood there, as he held the light on the stairs, trying to be as helpful as possible.
