[/quote] Pretty much that, joining an alliance is a great idea and you probably won't get very big at all without one. But, some alliances protect their tech sellers. If you really don't want to join alliance selling tech to an alliance that will protect you is a decent route to take. Still, you aren't nearly as likely to grow well as you would with an alliance.

Find protectors so this doesn't happen again. Heck, sometimes alliances become protectorates of an alliance that raided them before. Good luck
