Keeping telling yourself that. I seem to remember many posts by Karma leaders, especially LiquidMercury (who has admitted outright the he organized the fronts and directed alliances to various fronts) that the sides were somewhat clear for a while. Sure there were wild cards, but it was pretty obvious who was going to be Karma and who was staying on the Hegemony side. Also, if you canceled on the NPO because of the OV stunt then why not cancel for the WoTC stunt with MK's terms, or how about disbanding NoV, GATO's peace requirements/terms, what about the Woodstock Massacre, and lets not forget FAN. Any of those are worse that the OV incident. You did not cancel on the NPO/drop Q because of OV and you know it. You dropped them to get on the Karma side, I'm not going to condemn that, just don't lie through your teeth about it and try to claim some "moral high ground," which you berate my Emperor for doing. Edit: You have no idea why we canceled on the NPO, I suggest reading the last tattler for a small bit of the reason. We did not cancel on Valhalla, the treaty is suspended as per their terms.

You do realize most of the Karma side were the same alliances attacking us last summer. All 6/7 of them. To quote the DoW on Polaris: Yeah, this Karma rhetoric has been around the block. Its nothing besides a PR campaign.

I'm late and Chron effectively answered this post, but this man claims to be an expert on the topic of the New Polar Order Ivan claimed the very same in regards to building the NpO, but it is found in our private discussion rooms and I therefore can not link that to you.

According to two former Emperors, Polaris was built up from poaching (find the quotes in the massive thread). Back in the day, and before the NPO's hegemony, it was ok; that is what Ivan is trying to revert to, moving away from norms set by the NPO.

I never once agreed nor disagreed that what NSO did was right. I am arguing TDO's handling of the situation in that they did not get in direct contact with NSO's leader before bringing this here. If Ivan had blown them off in a PM, then by all means this would be the best option left to deal with the issue, save a DoW. OOC - It wouldn't be a problem and I'd probably do the same from time to time. Whose to say it hasn't happened in the past?
