With the formal oath of office completed and the congressional congress in full order the first order of business for the newly established government of Vinsalia was to establish her armed forces. As it stood a cadre of mercenary groups had served as her only form of defense but with the nation established a great many of these individuals have sought citizenship within the nation that they themselves were credited with helped to establish. A secret congressional session would be held with President Francisco Bourbon would be present whereupon he presented a formal proposal drafting the establishment of the Armed branches of the Vinsalia. The motion passed with unanimous approval and would be signed into law later on that night. With it's approval the armed forces budget was swelled to a total of $320,000,000,000 to fufill the following Defense Spending Actions. The proposed armed forces would have a total strength of over 1.4 million men with a focus being placed on training to produce a highly trained and outfitted warrior befit for the modern field of combat. The force would be entirely comprised of volunteers over the age of 18 and would be sworn under oath to protect the office of the Presidency, the civilian government, and the people of Vinsalia. Integrated coordination systems with the airforce, navy, and strategic command offer the VGF a high degree of battle awareness which allows the force to track, target, and destroy most enemy forces. Support elements within VGF armies contain a number of highly mobile precision artillery and rocketry pieces designed to strike at enemy forces from afar whilst keeping up with the mobile firepower doctrine established within Vinsalian command. Land-air-sea fire control units would be present as well designed to find and fix enemy firing units and report these positions to Vinsalian command for destruction or counter-battery fire. A cadre of quick response vehicles would also serve within the army to exploit weak points in enemy formations and strike at points of interest within VGF battle space. Within the VGF itself would be a core of highly trained officers receiving their formal instruction on the arts of war in the newly restructured West Point officers school, which is the only officers school within Vinsalia. With it, a core of highly motivated and trained individuals from throughout the country would form the bulkhead of the Vinalian vanguard. [b]Vinsalian Marine Forces - VMF[/b] [b] [/b]240,000 men form the Vinsalian Amphibious Forces and serve as the nations aquatic forces to be sent to various theatres around the world either by air or sea as afforded to them by strategic command. These forces are largely optimized for warfare on from the sea via amphibious landing ships and ground effect craft that are meant to quickly secure a beachhead allowing the rest of the VGF to move into place in securing a location. LHD assault ships are largely supported by VTOL aircraft, ASW helicopters and attack helicopters along with the standard support units afforded by Vinsalian naval & aerial forces. Ultimately, this force is expected to serve as the international reaction force of the Vinsalian military element and as such is held to a higher standard of military readiness and skill. [b]Vinsalian Special Corps - VSC[/b] 40,320 men make up the VSC which is an elite branch of the military that serves as shock group sent at the discretion of the President to take and hold a swath of territory and hold it against a much larger force. Trained to deploy by land, air, or sea these men are the most highly trained soldiers in the Vinsalian military and are selected from the VGF & VMF for service. Competition into the VSC is intense with very few applicants making it the final cut to serve in the VSC. Ultimately, those that do are highly trained, motivated, and ideologically charged to carry out the orders of the President and government as a whole.

I think the idea has its own merits but as others have stated the system in place works so there isn't any reasons to change it in my opinion.

With Vinsalian influence rising in the Americas it was only a matter of time until it spread it's fingers throughout the Americas to solidify it's status as one of the growing powers of the Americas. A communication would be drafted and sent to the Mexican government seeking to establish a meeting between the two powers. At the foot of the nations capital building a mass of citizens from Albany and the rest of the country would gather to watch the inaugeration of their newly elected President. The situation in Herat was growing worse and worse by the minute. Starvation ran deep throughout the vaunted city as the remaining supplies of food were depleted to their final rations...the common man and women being given mere parcels as what little food stocks remained were given to the faltering garrisons of Herat. Even the water wells were running dry as the nourishing waters of the upper rivers were being blocked by the Armies of the Damned. Bodies of malnourished children lined the streets begging for food and water...anything. Suleiman walked the streets with his scimitar in belt and shield on back. [i]"This city is dying a slow and painful death."[/i] he muttered as he continued along his route to the garrisons quarters. [i]Where is our relief?[/i] The thought had been surging through his mind for the past week. What little hope had been present had seemingly vanished as the last scouting party sent out to report positions fell silent. Morale was at an all time low...and even worse the forces within the city itself seemed poised to kill each other sooner then face the mad dragon once more. Suleiman doubted if the garrison would even last an hour if pressed. "[i]At this rate we'll not last a week...regardless of attack."[/i] Shaking his head he would walk up stairs leading to the walls of Herat. Leaving the surrounding lands to the Army of the Damned. Many villagers would be slaughtered in the night trying to sneak their way out of the countryside and into Herat. His screams would fill the halls of the garrison quarter as Suleiman cut off the mans tongue and seared the wound shut. "[i]Let this man's silence serve as a reminder to each of you...a lack of discipline will not be permitted within Herat."[/i] Suleiman would have that guardsmen remain in his current post and wear a sign on his back indicating his punishment for misconduct to an officer. If chaos and doom were to bring down the city, it would be by the Army of the Damned and not the garrison of Herat...or so Suleiman thought. Once a young and friendly many he had grown tough and leathery after months of fighting...the brutality of war was no longer something he read in study; it was now a fact etched into his mind forever. He would enter his room and try and get some rest...hoping to shut his eyes and be at peace. But every night his dreams would be haunted by memories of the Red beast that had obliterated his unit...the flames still burning fresh in his mind.

We have been preparing to move our government from it's emergency footing where Lilly Group was in complete command to a more democratic one. While I still hold the means to authorize a signing however once formal elections are completed it's not guaranteed that it will remain. That is entirely dependent upon the next President of Vinsalia...and whilst I would presume to be the favored candidate, you never know what the end result may be."

[Private] Jarvalas Corvette Scout: "We have detected a number of civilizations in the Milky Way sector...largely orbiting upon a great star not too far from the center of the Milky Way. What shall we do?" Redvar Command:"Remain in dark space and observe. We will be sending an envoy vessel to make contact with these peoples." Jarvalas: "Your wish is my command." [Public] "We are the Vasari an ancient and vast race of space travelers. We have seeded the stars and wish to know of your cultures and species."

Eons ago the Vasari Empire ruled over a dominion of star systems around the galaxy in an nano-molecular grip. A race of space faring aliens whom had perfected "phase" space technology had managed to send their dark fleet across vast expanses of the known universe to subjegate it to their aims. Over tens of thousands of years they would expand their empire into nearly every facet of galactic space forcing entire civilizations to bend their knees to their Vasari invaders. These same civilizations would serve as enslaves subservient sates to the budding empire as it continued it's growth into the fringes of space. The Dark Fleet would traverse the very stars of space and seed the populations of the worlds they conquered with various agents of their empire to cull the populace to the Empires will as they continued to rule these worlds from massive orbital stations known as Star Forts which would circle the native planet and provide a constant reminder to the native populations under their wills to be reminded of their place. Entire planets would be erased from the fabric of time and space as massive pulse waves would wreck through a planets core resulting in a gradual destruction of a planet as a show of force to subject states of the Empire around the galaxy. It would create a slow and painful death for the inhabitants as it's core would be forced into a catatonic state it would not stop it's spinning but slow it down forcing a pole shift in the planet and serve as the catalyst for cataclysmic events to bring death to a populace. Usually this would be enough to cull a population into servitude and for centuries a populace would remain in good standing as valued citizens of the Empire. But eventually, a populace would fall back into rebellious ways and in such cases the "wave of death" as it became known to commoners woudl be unleashed once more and not ceased into the entire core would be halted before a final blast of energy would literally impolode the core of the planet into a massive super-nova. Crews upon these "Deathstars" would be transported to new areas of the Empire to serve upon future star-forts in newly conquered frontier space. As more and more populations would be enslaved to serve the Empire as their worlds were pressed into service as foundaries, resource centers, and whatever else the Empire desired. Over millions of years, the Vasari Empie grew massive in it's size and scope and with it the means to control native populations. Slowly the Vasari Empire would intergrate populations into it's fold as slave labor serving it as a rudimentary source of miners on a planets surface. Billions of various races and species would serve under the Empire for time and with it Vasari genetics would integrate them into their being. As Vasari cultue was a brutish one that was built with a singular purpose, perfection and expansion. The Vasari were masters of genetics and would cull and create entire populations of species to serve as "living tests" for their empire. When these experiments were finished the resulting population would either be brought into the Empire or exterminated as the countless other species before it had served. While worthwhile segments of the subjects populace being added to a massive repository of DNA from which new generations of Vasari would be created from in breeding centers. The Vasari were unique from the stand point that unlike most of their subjected populations that reproduced via sexual means, the Vasari were created primarily from genetically engineered embreyos. Eons ago, the Vasari shared the same means of reproduction but eventually as their science reached a certain magnitude the populace reaches a point where it was entirely feasible to create a generation of fighters, captains, engineers, and other needs for the Vasari by enhancing select segments of DNA and replacing others to create a primordial soup of traits that they deemed acceptable. With this knowledge they would seed entire systems of space with species and observe their growth and decline as an almost benign force never interfearing until the experiments end point. Until one day in the outermost fringes of Vasari space the Helgon sector went black. Communications fell silent, phase gates were unresponsive and a planetary trafic fell silent. Most Vasari interpreted the events as simply another uprising of the populace. A sector of the dark fleet would be dispatched to handle the potential transgressers but within hours of making the jump to the last responsive phase gate in Helgon that entire fleet too fell silent, and the gate which it travled along with it. A day later Helgons sister sector Harva fell silent, and within a few hours another sector, then another. Soon whole sectors fell dark until it reached the very center of Vasari space, the homeworld cluster of Varya I. Quickly Vasari command mustered the entirety of the Dark Fleet a massive force of fleets from around the galaxy that was tasked to make a final stand and repel this unknown enemy. In the Empires darkest moment the Dark Fleet would phase jump to the Vasari home sector and defeat their foe right then and there...or so it was hoped. Just as quickly as the other sectors fell so did the home sector and the entirety of the dark fleet with only a single badly damaged Volstra Titan Class returning from phase space...it's crew of 5.5 million all reaving in fear and most went mad. It was at this point the remainder of Vasari command made the only viable decision possible...to flee their holdings and evade this dark force for as long as possible. It was determined that Redvar sector would serve as the rallying point for the remaining fleet and a period of time was set for the remaining forces to arrive it would ultimately allow the fleet to converge as a united force to move in mass to a safer location. Until one day, over united communications a single message was sent from the Starfort Quin that would shatter the remains of Vasari command. "The enemy traverse through phase gates." It was the last message sent from Quin as it fell silent and it's sector was lost... only a small number of ships had amassed in Redvar sector, not nearly the bulk of the fleet but the call had to be made. "Destroy and dismantle all phase space centers. Evacuate your populace by any means." With that motion the vast Vasari Empire fell silent as a whole as each segement of the Empire was left to fend for itself as the onslaught of this unknown force continued making it's meticulous march through space. With this in mind the survivors in Redvar sat in the outermost fringes of a newly discovered sector of space...known as the milky way. Alone, isolated and without the vast resources of the former empire behind it the Vasari were forced to reconstruct some form of its society. As a matter of communication the Starfort Dreth would begin to send nano-stealth scout vessels equipped with a variety of equipment to survey planets. Redvar was seated in the furthest point of space away from the greater Vasari Empire but was expected to hold some form of complex life but to what ends? Questions rang out through Vasari Space as the order to shut down their former phase gates still haunted many...for it was plausible for the Vasari to peacefully avoid it's great enemy. But for how long? And what of the mostly unexplored Milky Way? Could this be the site of the Vasari Empires restoration? Only time would tell...

Personality/History: Suleiman was a young officer of the Shahdom of Timur being educated at the Harat training grounds where he was educated for 6 years in the strategies of battle, leadership, politics, and personal combat. The very day he was set to graduate and become a full fledged officer for the Shahdom the great beast Ancaceleon appeared over the skies of the Shahdom and brought terror and misery to the nation. What was meant to be a day of rejoicing for the young Suleiman turned into a day of remorse as he and his comrades found themselves thrust into armories and outfitted to face the impending doom. Many skirmishes would be had and victories would be far and few between the many defeats and deaths Suleiman witnessed. Hardened by the death surrounding him a young Suleiman finds himself struggling to continue the fight for the shattered remnants of the Shahdom as more and more of his comrades fall to the dark influences of the Mad Dragon.

But...you're not going to be elected if your planning on disregarding the entire community process for instituting CNRP rule changes. Good luck trying though!
