    Despite the size difference, you have about 2/3 the attacking casualties. I mean heck Hime, I've never been much above 125k NS and I have about 2.5 million attacking casualties. So, basically, what you're saying is that you got hit a whole lot by people beating up on you while you did not dish out nearly as much as a nation much, much smaller. Good talk, Champ.

    http://www.cybernations.net/war_information.asp?ID=811922 I declared war on BIBLIOSTAN, and clicked on the drop down for nuking. Instead of the usual "you need to wait to nuke" I have the options to fire. The war was declared less than an hour ago. Did the rules for this change? This nation was the last one I fought as well, which may be important information for tracking down the bug.

    Let's play fun with math... NADC accepted terms that will cost them 1.3 Billion, in an age where individual nations have over a billion in their warchest. During Karma, warchests were not nearly that high. Now, here's the important part.... The NPO cash owed for Karma was 10 billion. That is, as you see, an order of magnitude larger than the 1.3 discussed, and inflation makes that even more so the case. Add to that the 350k tech, which at the exchange rate of 3/100, is another 10.5 billion, making it a total of 20.5 billion. So, 20.5 billion is greater than 1.3 billion. So no, this is not the most expensive. Not even close.

    Junka, I'm pretty sure that terrible choice by you in terms of interpersonal relationships is exactly why you have Galerion working for you. Perhaps you should stop while you're behind and let them try to salvage what's left.

    I just finished reading the Enchiridion. As a start into Stoic philosophy, it was interesting. I have coming up soon on my reading list Marcus Aurelius' Mediations. One of the quotes that caught my interest: "Put an end once for all to this discussion of what a good man should be, and be one."

    Nowhere does it say "and stay out!", or that we are re-instating the Revenge Doctorine. While we were part of Red Dawn and USSR, our members helped vote in senators from other alliances. UCR, who had a senator we voted for, has 16 nations. This is simply us stating that we are voting for our own people now that Invicta, the only other large Red alliance, has decided to move back home to Purple.

    Very much this. Had Invicta stayed, the USSR pact would have stayed. Without them, it no longer makes sense for the sphere. We aren't going around booting other alliances from the sphere.

    Re-read what I said. I never claimed it was because we were scared of them, just that it was going to happen. My point was, and still is, that the lie that the NPO was drooling at the mouth at the idea of hitting TPF is flat out wrong.

    Not even close. There was no glee. There was no "attack due to audacity." You were allied to MI6, and we were at war with them. There was a decision to pre-empt what was seen as an inevitable attack. If you don't like it, fine. You can't be blamed for that. But claiming that the NPO was looking forward to it with wide eyes is patently false.

    Tech banks are tech banks as long as they want to be. I was, until I decided I wanted to increase my size. It's that simple. Some people choose to stay as tech banks, and that's their call.
