  1. Congrats on the move. The thuggish heathens on black will always make life tough for an upstanding and decent alliance like BTA.
  2. Congrats to both, two splendid alliances.
  3. Crikey, consecutive victories against the top two sides. Tercera's looking interesting, two points separate the top five teams
  4. Congrats you guys, always a decent and friendly crew.
  5. I'll tell you what hasn't changed - four of the Umbrella signatories are people who aren't in Umbrella anymore
  6. I like this, fits in with my nation name. Good luck!
  7. All positions filled, just waiting for confirmation that olly86 can get a harbour and I'll start getting people to set trades up.
  8. I couldn't agree more, every game needs it's good guys and bad guys.
  9. This is quite amusing. NSO should know what RAD are like and could have quite easily brushed this off, RAD should know what NSO are like and should not be surprised about this at all. 95% of the time it would not lead to an alliance war but hell, it was still an official alliance announcement declaring war on a member of another alliance. Fair play to RAD for taking it on the chin in such a good fashion though. More of this I say!
  10. This is closer to being finished than it looks, I'm just figuring how to slot various people in. Anyone with Iron?
  11. At least you got a goodbye mention
  12. MHAil Scytale, MHAil SB, MHAil everybody!
  13. Possibly the most predictable event to have happened recently, but good work getting the name out there all the same!
  14. I really don't see an issue with the level of reps, as has been pointed out other alliances have done it before so why shouldn't OV receive reps that some determine to be excessive. MCXA, OV, what's the difference? Whether they were an innocent party that were surprisingly attacked and fortunately backed up by other alliances or the bait in a trap set for NPO and promised reward for being so, NPO have agreed to a level of reps in exchange for peace and OV have been allocated those reps by those that they fought alongside. I doubt they've held a gun to anyone's head to get these reps.
  15. I'm afraid furs aren't part of this cricle at the moment but if things change I'll give you shout.
  16. If the neutral third parties are going to get hurt then maybe the blame should lie with their trade partners who are doing things to get sanctioned rather than those who are sanctioning them.
  17. I think anyone who gets on the wrong side of an alliance with a senator (or an ally of one) is fair game, be it during a great war or in an individual act. I always thought it was generally avoided during alliance wars to avoid tit-for-tat sanctionings (standards obviously slipped this time around) but if you're a rogue or small alliance not entwined in the treaty web then I can't see why it wouldn't be used.
  18. I'm glad that OV chose to release this info and as the ones to stand up and take the hit the probably deserve it more than most. Fair play to you.
  19. Slightly going off on a tangent, but I don't even think WTF has a flag.
  20. Well I guess the argument is that just because your people want a certain type of government it doesn't mean that it's the best type of government for your nation development, due to the other bonuses. Why you get the same happiness from a government type that your people don't want as one they do I don't know but I guess it's to make the selection of government more tactical - it would be boring if it were like religion and all you had to do was choose the one that your people want for maximum benefit.
  21. So you understand why this has happened, you just don't agree with it?
  22. All the best with this guys, looks promising.
