1.
Here I thought you would have thought that an MDoAP relationship should involve information sharing when it comes to the matter of your partner's security.
I do think it should involve information sharing, and I would most likely share information regardless of there being a clause, out of mutual benefit if nothing else. That doesn't change that it's not actually required in the active version of the treaty.
That said, this is what I get for not being around. The original treaty I wrote had such clauses: Its omission was an error.
I agree, this omission is an error. However, as I said before, that still doesn't change that it was omitted.
Clearly he had a reason to believe that there was a threat to the security of the alliance. I asked him myself if he had an alternate explanation and was ignored, then treated to Pollard's insulting manner on our own boards.
Some would argue that the accusations and level of distrust from SOS Brigade were insulting. Some would say that SOS's behavior in the NsO DoE thread were insulting, or maybe even that posting this giant call-out thread was insulting. The way you guys attacked Pollard's integrity without even having talked to him about it is quite insulting. If I were him, even if you had talked to me before making your accusations, I would still be quite upset and may have even shown my discontent in a similar manner. You can't really sit there and accuse us of supporting a coup in an MDoAP partner and treat us the way SOS Brigade did on the OWF and then give us a hard time over that upsetting us. Edited to fix a grammatical error.
 2. Oh hey guys. So, a few of us were just browsing the wiki and happened upon the actual text of the now-cancelled Tetris-SOS Brigade treaty (here).
1 Text of the Treaty 1.1 Мир (Peace) 1.2 Коробейники (Korobeiniki) 1.3 Оборона (Defense) 1.4 Опция (Option) 1.5 Агрессия (Aggression) 1.6 Катюша (Katyusha) 1.7 Прекращение (Termination) 1.8 Калинка (Kalinka) 1.9 Signatories
If you'll note, there are clauses for peace, defense, option/aggression, and termination. There are several other clauses with other random songs made by artists who were not signatories as well. The one clause you will not find would be the 'information' clause. While you may argue that information is implied because of it already being an MDoAP, this is up for debate, although I wouldn't recommend it. What is not, however, is that Tetris had any obligation to ever tell SOS (sorry I don't know how to complete the acronym) much of anything (see: nothing). So in all honesty, even if we did do the things you accuse us of (which we did not), we still wouldn't be in the wrong, as far as the treaty itself is concerned.
 3. Congratulations You guys also seem to be closing in on that 5m mark as well
 4.
Best of luck to Tetris.
Why thank you.
You're mis-interpreting. You're the one who suggested that I didn't believe you. I actually did. The line about it "depending on who you are" was with regard to you accusing me of being paranoid.
Forgive me for mis-interpreting that tiny bit of logs, and I'll forgive you for mis-interpreting the rest
It isn't paranoia if you're right.
Except you weren't right about anything except that there was a move to impeach you, and that a handful of SOS gov members lied to you to cover that up until they were ready to act on it. I understand that your feelings were hurt, , which is why I was of mind to keep the treaty even after the OWF blunder. I just figured that you were going through a rough spot and would have a clear head soon, and would maybe even apologize for being so erratic. I guess I was wrong, because the paranoia just kept getting worse, and you turned it on Tetris, who has nothing to do with any of this. But that's just the way it goes. You're being delusional, and that's all there is to it. I am really going to try and refrain from anymore responses here. Don't hold me to it...
 5.
Indeed not. Your ability to be even the least bit rational serves you well.
Fixed that for you. I thought you wanted to let this die?
Edit: I just noticed something. You are incorrect on another front. I never 'did not believe you' when you said that the conversation in question was a test. I came out with that right away.

[02:10:55] <Arrnea> one thing though [02:11:04] <Arrnea> how did Tetris gov find out this was a test before I confirmed it to you? [02:11:22] <Hereno> i figured it out pretty quickly [02:11:37] <Arrnea> you had a hunch. [02:11:42] <Hereno> yeah, pretty much lol [02:11:50] <Hereno> it's obvious that bernkaster or whoever the **** is loyal to you [02:11:56] <Hereno> i'm not a retard [02:11:57] <Hereno> lol [02:12:01] <Arrnea> right. [02:12:10] <Hereno> see you don't even believe that [02:12:17] <Hereno> you're just being paranoid -.- [02:12:25] <Arrnea> actually, it depends on who you are.
Yeah, okay then.
 6.
Yes, we tested your trustworthiness
Excellent actions from an MDoAP partner. Really, you've outdone yourself on this one.
and were well on our way to cancelling our treaty by then. You simply beat us to that.

What is done is done. It would be to the benefit of all parties to drop the matter at this.
The exact moment you realized how horrible an idea this was: 3 pages after anyone else.
 7.
Which is totally why Pollard owned up to attacking us, as an entire alliance, in the NsO DoE, right? We, as an alliance, are finished with Tetris.
First off, that doesn't address anything I said. You should also address something else USMC123 said; mainly...
Also: why not tell them how you "tested" us to see if we are trustworthy.
Or should I tell them about how you sent Bernkastel to try and trick me into not telling you about a coup, as a way to test our alliances' friendship? How about how when you found out I had guessed that it was just you guys doing something ridiculous like that, you didn't believe me, even after I brought the logs to you? Which, by the way, proves you straight up just don't trust us twice over. How about how you did that to not just us, but all of your allies, and how others actually (apparently) failed the 'test', but how Tetris didn't? Pollard was obviously disenchanted and being sarcastic. You know that and so do I. Grow up. In addition, I've been quite 'done' with SOS (in particular, you) after the incident I described above. And that was after coming to me accusing our entire government of breaking our treaty, and me listening with open ears to your entire argument. That was also after making us all look foolish (and continuing to do so) here in public. I need not say more. This is completely ridiculous, and I'm extremely disappointed with how you've forced this to turn out.
 8.
In lieu of forcing you all to read through the mountains of logs and forum posts that sum up to these events, we have prepared a summarised version of how things have been playing out for the last two months, entitled Diary of a Sundered Realm.
You can't say that and then post hours and hours of logs afterwards with commentary. That's just not okay. In response to aforementioned wall of text, I am disappointed in this attempt to damage control the NsO DoE. If I tried, I could refute every point there, but I'm not going to bother. The way you're acting is ridiculous, and instead of just keeping private matters private, we now have another announcement that will just dissolve into idiocy. The way you've treated us and your other treaty partners as of late is simply unacceptable. You're upset because we didn't tell you about something that we didn't even know about until you already knew about it. Get over it. You've drawn a conclusion, and are now trying to manipulate the facts to support it, as opposed to looking at the facts and drawing an intelligent conclusion from them. You're better than that, so start acting like it. I've put a ton of work into fixing this with you guys, and for what? To have even more of this maniacal garbage thrown back at us? Get out of here. Tl;dr: Hereno is not amused.
 9. Good job, lol, that's a lot of work.
 10.
I am wholeheartedly reminded to have straightforward articulation in my thoughts, words, and actions, (even if my motive is to express my deepest concerns).
... You should apologize to us for not knowing the meaning of words you use, not for ticking off NPO.
 11.
You need to not run an alliance...seriously.
^ This man has it right.
 12. More treaties should be that long (short). Congrats.
 13. This is a good announcement. Congrats on your victories, GOONS.
 14. This is a weird announcement. Whatever, good luck to both parties I guess.
Actually, I never said this announcement wasn't worth the 10 seconds of skimming over it and reading the summary. I'm just stating a treaty that "wasn't meant to be serious in the first place" is a waste of my time. Actually, it's a waste of all of our times.
If you feel that your time is that precious/important, then it begs the question of why you're choosing to spend it here, of all places?
 15. Congratulations on getting back the position as MoFA again, and thanks for the . I look forward to hearing from you tomorrow.
 16.
*facepalms* Pollard is -the- leader, IE: Of all Bob
Fixed that for you.
@Elrich: And that's better? Thought it was MoFA or head, but either way it's a bit classless and a violation of the traditional interpration of the friendship clause present in most treaties. If he has a problem, he needs to come to me or Arrnea.
He told me that he tried, but kept going to the wrong people and eventually gave up. Apparently, our two alliances just aren't very good at keeping track of who is who in government. xD Just kidding (by the way, I'm now our PoFA (please hold applause)). In all seriousness, he was probably just playing around as I was; not that I am Pollard or speak for him, but I'm pretty sure he's a big fan . You know we love you guys (both our SOS allies and our NsO allies), and it really does suck to see you all duking it out here center stage. Especially when we're kinda in the middle of it. If y'all really did have a problem with us taking the influx of members from SOS, I hope that you went to gov at the time (I wasn't higher gov until after) and expressed your concerns about it. I know that tensions are running high here, as they usually are when two groups of good friends splinter, but try to understand that we still like all of you, and don't want bad stuff to happen to anyone (in fact, we kinda want the opposite)!
 17. This is such a good announcement. Good luck.
 18. Congrats on the treaty. My opinions of both alliances have been changing for the better lately
 19.
I do hope you realize that I used the word 'reasonable' in only the most satirical and sarcastic fashion. Sure, it's not as bad as the terms on the NPO, but it seems that the popular argument of the day is either "we're not as bad as the NPO!" or, more recently, 'these reps are reasonable and merciful!' Both are full of !@#$.
It's pretty obvious that you were being sarcastic; the reps actually are reasonable (something NPO isn't really known for) Edit: By the way, you were the one who brought them up (yet again).... The reps will most likely be paid (in full) within 2-3 weeks. The Ninjas went as far as saying reps were light, and they're the ones who have to pay. How is this unreasonable to you? Oh wait, GOONS is involved. What do you think would have been fair reps in this situation? I'd really love to hear.
 20.
Because a bag of !@#$ sprayed with perfume and with a ribbon is still, after all, a bag of !@#$, regardless of how many times you repeat otherwise. But oh, it's so 'merciful' and 'reasonable'! Silly me.
Reasonable reps are still, after all, reasonable, regardless of how many times you repeat otherwise. The Ninjas are happy with the outcome, and so are GOONS. Get over it. Also, @The Ninjas: Well written announcement. Said a lot of good things like stuff about alliance sovereignty and actually doing something and being useful being more important than having numbers and whining. Props.
 21. It's good to see that the alliances in question were able to make nice by the end. Sorry to hear about the disbandment, though.
 22.
This is no mistake
If you have to say it... Congrats.
 23.
Ragnarok
I blame Archer.
On a related note, we would like to invite diplomats from all alliances to come visit our forums and set up an embassy with us. We have an excellent community and we would like to see it expanded to include more foreign diplomats. Our forums can be found at: http://cn-tetris.net Our IRC channel is #Tetris on coldfront.
Going rates are now 50 tech per masking, and 100 tech per embassy opened.
