  1. the only reason it matters is for rp purposes insofar as it makes carthage the defender or otherwise gives them a valid claim to the land
  2. read nothing, skipped to page 21, saw fox fire being quoted and tywin posting good call, hereno
  3. i'm beginning to realize why there were hold-outs for cnrp when cnrp2 was made as much as i'd like a fresh start, i don't feel very welcome at all, and i don't see how any problems are really solved by altering the rules slightly and making a new map the "dick rule" is pretty good, and admittedly it'd be nice to be able to roll into one of the places that are now left open, but i'm happy enough with naples and really i just wish we could cut down the number of RPs to 2 again good luck.
  4. i like both of your flags they're not good flag design traditionally-speaking but the graphics are appealing and flag-esque
  5. ooc: wait, what? who are your allies at the moment then?
  6. it would be nice if pd or mara or whoever is supposed to be having hawaii to keep me from it would link me to their posts as i did when asked or, if not, i'm just gonna go ahead and take the island chain
  7. Director Romagnoli took his time entering the palace, admiring the frosted atmosphere. Although he had been around the world and back again, he had not yet managed to spend any meaningful time in Romania, only having once stopped for a few hours in an airport terminal between flights. Executive Director Belmonte had expressed a peculiar interest in Romania, although no specific directions had been given. She trusted her subordinate as she trusted herself, having spent a non-insignificant amount of her own political capital to help get him into his position. The whirlpool spinning in his head, amped up with novelty, came to an unplanned halt. A vocal life vest jerked him out of the ocean and back into reality, and he barely had time to process what Ms. Constante had said before smiling, introducing himself, and beginning to follow her to whatever destination she had in mind. "No, no problems at all, thank you", he smiled, continuing; "Besides, even if it should have taken a while, I would have had plenty to keep my mind busy. There is something heart-warming and familiar about the land here."
  8. the problem with going outside of alliances is that the credible and working persons are in alliances and would rather work on their alliance and with their own stuff than help you do this maybe you should just get a bunch of tiny alliances together and merge them into one alliance in some sort of neutral economic agreement

  11. "Qhat are Naples qilling to engage in, you ask? Qell, let me tell you, qe are quite fond of the French, and qould happily qork together militarily and diplomatically toqards a better European future. Hoqever, madame, qe express concern over the large amount of diplomatic ties that the French nation has all over Europe, including to some nations qith qhom qe strongly dislike. The Alvonians, for example, qe feel are hardly qorth the time of day given their commitment to land mines and fascism. And qe also question qhat good it qould do us to be potentially pulled into an Asian qar through your commitments to the Japanese techno-fascist nation in the Pacific. Qe do not qish to tell you hoq to conduct your affairs, madame, but nevertheless qe qould only find a strong military agreement qith your nation agreeable if it contained safeguards against dragging Naples into qar over the actions of allies qho qe feel are threats to our security and stability."
  12. thank you for your input, gm #87
  13. if i am able to actually get hawaii from PD, not that i've even checked to see if he is actually protecting it, i'd be willing to do a RP with you wherein you control the semi-autonomous hawaiian government it might have to be optional canon because you're banned and shit but i'd treat it as canon actions actually, if you show you can actually do rp and not get yourself destroyed, i might even help you plan a war for independence
  14. This one is pretty objectively good. Even if you have all three of the negative resources, merely having two of the positive ones would result in a net happiness gain of 0.5.
  15. heard you the first time :v: let's do some antics or something
  16. [Private] The Carthaginian leader would receive an AES-256 encrypted message through secure lines. In the message, the Carthaginian position on increased British military presence in the Mediterranean would be requested. Neapolitan concerns about the ongoing troop movements in the Baleares were of particular concern.
  17. i made this thread better a while ago http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?/topic/124618-discussion-protectorates/
  18. no but seriously i'd be down for doing 30 dice rolls for 30,000 missiles and just calling it 28k and being done with it like really why you guys gotta make shit so hard
  19. Naturally, the Neapolitans accepted the invitation. And, after not too long, a jet was dispatched from Naples by order of the Executive Director herself. Several hours later, Foreign Affairs Director Ippolito Romagnoli and an small assortment of minor officials, paper pushers, and armed guards arrived in Bucharest. Eager to attend the meeting, a skeleton crew would accompany the Director via limousine to Cotroceni Palace, where they would presumably find Mihaela waiting.
  20. in light of this news, i demand a dice roll to decide the fate of every single bullet fired by every single one of my soldiers
  21. The child began to laugh when he saw the man flapping around like a duck, but he would soon only be able to watch from the distance as his father had had enough of ducks and duck-behaving men. He started up the car with a grumble, and sped away like he was in a race. By this time, the ducks had finished eating up the last bits of the bread. A few of them began to stare curiously at the strange man, while the majority of the others joined Charles back in the lake for an after-dinner feather cleaning. One of the ducks, a bit curious and young, began to approach the man. Twisting his head, he inquired, "Quack?"
