1.
Misplaced identity aside, the point still holds. Especially given that you immediately recognized that I was explaining MK's perspective. But, alas, my bad, I shouldn't have overlooked his AA.
No, you just can't see an MK thread without flipping out and bemoaning all the horrible things we're doing. It's PIAT, calm down and take a deep breath crazy.
 2.
By that you mean "When we found out about the new viking bloc on CNLeakSiteOfTheGivenWeek.org we wanted to bring them into our sphere of power," right? Not saying it was a dumb move. But it's infuriating, that there's always gullible alliances like NoR ready to lap up whatever scraps you have to offer, under the delusion that you'll actually stand with them in their time of need.
He's in NoR you idiot.
 3. SOS you're a terrible alliance honestly how do you have allies?
 4.
You don't have to pay attention, you know?
When someone starts a potentially global war literally crying about people not wanting to be in your !@#$%* alliance because they want to be in some other !@#$%* alliance yeah I sort of have to.
 5. How about both alliances involved just disband and save everyone the trouble of noticing your existence for this flash in the pan war.
 6. No one is going to agree to get rid of warchests. Plus that's a laughable explanation of what's killing CN. Too many treaties is a better explanation than that.
 7. The game's dying because older players are deleting and we aren't bringing in (or retaining) enough new players at a high enough rate to replace them. No matter how many times the argument is rehashed the politics of this game aren't what's killing it. People will be quitting no matter what's going on. Especially when you consider how many people are in small irrelevant alliances. Even if CN was at the peak of excitement if your alliance isn't a mover or shaker you're pretty much just along for the ride or not involved at all which makes it just as boring as if nothing was going on. CN needs to catch the attention of new players and draw them in, and politics won't do that. That's what will keep them playing down the road once they are experienced enough to move into government positions. What we need is a way for new nations to catch up to old ones without simply building for years without losing a war, and a way to get those new players here to begin with.
 8.
oh great another TLR...we beat you by about 8 months
Except zero people care about a Legion protectorate so it doesn't matter how long you were here.
 9. This thread has a nauseating level of people "in the know."
 10.
First of all, let's all get it right: It's "PZI." EZI wasn't a term used until a year or more after all of these 1V-GATO War events occurred. I was PZI-listed by the Dark Confederate bloc (7 alliances), Browncoats, and Polaris, exiled from Black by Obsidian, and banned from Blue by MCXA at the same time that Chimaera was PZIed by One Vision and allies. Most of the Dark Confederate alliances ended up merged into Athens, I don't go around hating Athens for harboring and promoting my PZIers from 4 years ago.
Well Chim was chased across several rerolls and I'm pretty sure that's what we've come to call EZI.
 11.
Weren't you actually a Vox member?
No, plus I didn't count Vox because it didn't try to exist in the normal fashion that alliances do. But still, even if you did count Vox they weren't all that successful because they were in a perpetual state of war. That's also why I didn't count them because they had a lot going against them and it was more about the movement than the hard power they possessed.
 12. Pacifica is the only decent alliance to have ever been formed on the red team. When will people stop trying?
 13. I don't get the argument that NPO had to be the only alliance seeking EZI for Chim for him to not like them. I'd not be too fond of anyone who sentenced me to EZI, regardless of who else did it.
 14. Can IAA members please stop acting like dropping TIO for their existing/expected NPO treaty is a bad thing? Thanks in advance.
 15.
Then it must be coincidence that just before a official upgrade between TIO and NPO, that IAA dumps it's treaty with TIO?
Honestly if you think it's a bad thing that an alliance likes to keep it's foreign policy coherent then there's no arguing with you. And while that may be a significant factor in this cancellation there's plenty of other underlying reasons that made it the straw that broke the camel's back.
 16.
IAA just showed that they treaty based mostly on the opposite numbers allies rather then a friendship between each other. Also IAA effectively saw that TIO was not going to slave itself out to IAA FA direction, dropped lip and walked away.
You should be friends with all of your allies but you shouldn't be allies with all of your friends. If IAA was concerned with FA direction over friendship they would have cancelled on TIO months ago.
 17.
Heh with all this talk of dropping TIO, you'd think that people had forgotten that both alliances are in the Sirius bloc...
Sirius is a joke and everyone knows it.
 18.
It's a shame that this had to be done.
No it's not Lavo don't feign regret.
 19. I like how the reason for this cancellation is not even thinly veiled like most other threads. The fact that TIO was insufferable to even its closest allies is hilariously clear.
 20. I actually laughed. Not hard, but it was noticeable. CN Blogs are pretty much the worst thing and the fact that this one is an exact template for them is why.
