1.
For some reason, I have Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho in my mind. The story behind that movie reminds me of someone's attempt to alter reality into some parallel world.
Or Tentacle Grape. Or anything in English.
2. I would greatly appreciate seeing these two alliances kill each other. Also, Tentacle Grape War.
3. All for Tentacle Grape War... Completely appropriate considering the circumstances. This whole thing is just one giant mess - I can't say I like either alliance, and I'm finding myself agreeing with Rebel Virginia the more he posts. There is something seriously wrong here.
4. FAN Stealing our Biggest Loser spot.
5. I really don't think moralism was as big as you're making it out to be. For the most part, and as Goldie said, if anyone was using the word moralism at all, it was because they were trying to gain some underhanded advantage over the opposition by appealing to the moral side of the masses. But that in itself is immoral. As for the doctrine posted by Ivan, it really did not have that much affect on the entire cyberverse as you're making it out to be. Personally, I forget about it a few days after it was posted. It wasn't really discussed that much on VE's forums and it never came up when I talked with other allies about the day to day processes. If anything, the post-Karma era was the Blind era, because no one knew how to proceed and everyone was trying to find their own ways to get ahead. Calling out tech raiding and pretending to be moral was just one way to get alliance A to attack your enemies in alliance B.
6. It's not like this is an official post. This topic was done I believe out of curiosity.
7. Seeing that picture made me really laugh for the first time all day. Thank you, Mirreille. I seriously mean thank you.
8. I feel like this poll is too early. There was isn't over and more can happen. It doesn't matter how much people want to call this Great War IV, as there has already been a Great War IV, V, and VI. They need to get over the fact that they've only been here for a year and have missed four years of CN history. Also, CN Holocaust really should be avoided for OOC reasons, but that's more of a personal opinion.
9. I am a fan of the "Everything Must Die" War. Easy to remember, can be referenced as Everything Must Die or simply EMD. Also, it cannot be called Great War IV, Great War V, or Great War VI, because we already have those wars. Stop reusing that old handle and be creative.
10. A good show, regardless of the outcome.
11. No, see, they've already brought it. You're late to that party.
12. For those complaining about using NPO's methods against NPO, fight fire with fire? One of the most impressive blitzes during the war. Way to go guys, and have fun burning down the town!
13.
Could you please quote and bold the part of the logs that Dajobo actively tried to obtain information from Lennox? He was sent information by Lennox (supposedly working for Impero at that point), but I cannot find where Dajobo actually asked for it. Quote that section for me and your argument might have some merit. Right now it isn't an even argument at all, but a lie.
Here is the screenshot showing that Dajobo did actively try to obtain information; here Obviously I cannot bold a screenshot, so I'll point it out a little more specifically. Dajobo attempts to view the information sent to him in a pm known to be containing sensitive information. He even copy and pastes the error message he receives when trying to view said information. Lennox reloads the images, and Dajobo then thanks him as he is now presumably able to see the information.
14. nothing compared to actually artists, but i thought this might be somewhat appropriate considering the various debates going on and resulting responses in the other thread. created using the most advanced editing software i own:
15. Oh dear oh dear. There are so many things wrong with this thread it's unbelievable. Let us start with the fact that not a day ago, all of the Entente's "detractors" were arguing about how little credit Lennox has, how he is a liar and a con artist, and how is not to be trusted. Today, because of some screenshots that have been dubiously uploaded and reuploaded going through presumably several format changes, you now all take Lennox as credible. You also take Rebel Virginia as a credible and possibly unbiased source(?), and while he may have some credibility he is nowhere near unbiased. That glaring error in logic aside, let's move on to the idea that this was a setup from the start. 20:33 Chancy I should spy on MHA 20:33 Dajobo|NpO| nah they aren't the enemy 20:36 Dajobo|NpO| VE or MK are the two who are heavily involved in world politics These logs have not been tampered with; they've been confirmed by both sides of the war and the individuals involved. Unless the Entente was somehow magically able to cognitively suggest that Dajobo ask Lennox to spy on VE instead of MHA, there is no way that this could have been a setup. Let's look at a different scenario for a second. If Dajobo had gone ahead with MHA, Lennox would be spying on MHA. He may or may not have come clean. But if he did, would all of you be screaming setup? Because it's no different. And that right there should show just how idiotic, biased, frustratingly and frighteningly lacking in logical, and possibly mentally unstable you all are. The serious lapses in logic, of course, have come from both sides, but they seem to be perpetuated by the Entente's anti-fan club. I'd also like to point out that because of the above evidence, there is no way that this could have been entrapment even if it was a setup, which all points say it was not. Lennox contacted VE first, not the other way around. Dajobo willingly and actively tried to obtain information from Lennox, and because of that the CB is certainly still valid, I would even argue to say a sound argument for any of you who have any semblance of training in logic and reasoning, and your whines of an evil Viridian Entente become nothing more than childish.
16. From your argument I would conclude that the only possible logical explanation was that this was not, in fact, a setup. If you looked at your post without bias, you might come to the same logical conclusion.
17.

Oh dear, oh dear.

And for some reason, this made my day.
18.
VE, get out. No, seriously... Just get out. Ezequiel.
Is this directed at anything or anyone tangible? I'm really not quite sure what you're referring to.
19. You guys and your thick heads realize that Creeping Death was making a joke, in reference to a previous war that the Entente was part of, right?
20. Goddamn why couldn't you just attack us instead of ganging up on little FOK. I wanted to see just how bad your military was.
