I feel for ya. I just opted to buy a desktop. Asus, it's good enough for what I need it to do. Although, after waiting two weeks, (back when my old computer broke) I finally bought it. Took it home, and found that it was dead. I called Asus and Best Buy, both proved to be useless, next day, exchanged it for a working one. So I guess, we all get screwed sometimes.

We've all seen worse grammar. B) Well, you announce it if you have it. But there are quite a few micros that don't have protectors and just go unnoticed. C) They were worked out.

We at Menotah approve of this and find Justice League to be a great group of people. As to the concerns of the charter, we've discussed this with Green Lantern and worked out any kinks. And we understand the reasoning behind some of the issues called to attention. We're happy to welcome so many players to our world. (OOC The alliance is a bunch of new to CN players with the exception of a few, and I'm not going to turn away any new players when CN is losing them so rapidly OOC). As to the war of the Justice Leagues, none of you will really have to remember any of them so I think we're fine. Or if you do, Justice League and JLA. There. Sad to see, never really knew UBD that well, but at least you found a home at GDA.

While I don't approve of someone reforming TGE. And at the very least, it should have been planned better or perhaps using a different name, I do wish to point out that just because of past wrong doings doesn't mean you have to attack them. When GOONS came back, they made it clear they weren't the same. And they aren't. I can respect them for improving 'their' reputation and for the same reason, I don't see a problem with this. This fellow took an alliance he liked, and is trying to give it back meaning, I can't fault him for that. I do agree, he should have gotten a protector, he should have probably re-thought the name choice or spoken with NoR but if he is trying to start anew and isn't recreating the alliance that everyone hated, I can't see any issue. The very least we can do is let him exist, if he fails, he fails. If he succeeds, he succeeds. And if it turns into the old TGE, we kill it... with fire. Edit: clarification.

I stand before you a better man; I have only been in the vibrant and welcoming social atmosphere of politics since January 8, 2008. And realistically, I know by now, most of you don’t care about what I'm saying. So I’ll get to the actual point of this announcement. Today, the alliance I am proud to be part of turns two years old. Incidentally, we tried to get our strength to two million, but with the economy and jobs as they are we only managed to get 1,893,420 (at the time of this being written). But, the point of this announcement is to celebrate the two years we’ve had, and to look forward the next years we’ll be alive. Now many of you don’t know us or know only tidbits about us, so I’ll give a brief history. *If you’ve haven’t skipped to the end already, good luck here* Menotah was an idea in my mind for quite some time, and during the Dark Evolution – Athens merger, I set it into place. Due to some disagreements to the merger, some of the members from DE joined me, I believe it was 15. This and some logs from DerKaiser, set off a nice amount of drama which led to a big headache but eventually everything was cleared up without war. During that time TOOL was our protector but ceased to protect us for a week due to the Athens incident. So, considering DE’s main allies were CDT and I knew them since Element, I talked to them about temporary protection. They offered membership in CDT and I accepted. I’ve learned that the leaders of UPN, USN, Invicta, FEAR, WP and UCN are great people. Now I know some would disagree, and at times, I want to punch their teeth in too but I guess they grow on you. NOIR was also an ally at the time, and well they all were great friends and allies in their own right. It was such an eclectic group and when there wasn’t bickering and fighting, it was a lot of fun. Following that, we had a generally under the radar life and grew. We gained great members and stayed quiet. That is when DerKaiser had some issues. He decided to turn our forums off, take a few members and start Pissed Off Puerto Rican. After a bit, he realized turning the forums off was a bit an overreaction but by that time, we had moved forums. Add in some growth, more treaties and fun times and you have Menotah. Here we stand, I hope that these experiences made me a better person and I would have to say I am a better person for knowing and conversing with all of you. There’s a lot of drama and hate in this community, a bit like a high school, but in the end, we’ll all together in this world. It is my pleasure to announce that as of 10:48:55 AM today, Menotah is officially two years old. I'd like to thank our allies and the membership, none of this could have been done without you. Alliances that we aren't allied to and I would to be allied to: DRAGON (Awesome bunch) TOOL (Alliance I've known for quite some time and like a lot) Invicta (We used to be allied but not now) FEAR (We used to be allied but not now) R&R (Fought them, good bunch of people) Umbrella (Because all the people I looked up to in Element keep going there) I have to give this more thought, although since I'm dead according to the OP, I have a lot of me time.
