It's that simple, and that's exactly what was meant by the other comments (as far as the ones I read that you seemed to quote). You know that, you're just ignoring what the spirit of the sentences are, and attacking the minor grammar. Seriously Chron, I expect you to have better arguments. Leave this kind of head bangingly painful arguments to the mindless masses.

It will continue like that, until one side feels they have lost and are willing to admit this. When they realize this, they then approach the other side and tell them this, and from there work on brokering terms. MK doesn't feel like it has won yet. We also don't feel like we've lost. Until we feel like we've won or lost, we're not going to approach them for terms, because odds are they feel the same. This thought process goes ditto for them. We both know you know that's how it works, and are just debating semantics to be a thorn in our side because you can, so hopefully this guide to peace for dummies can enlighten you.

Polar -> RoK -> \m/ Looks like a friend of a friend to me.

I had thought it a gentleman's agreement that you don't go after the friends of a friend. Most folks I've known have always seen it that way. Especially when you have no direct reasoning to be involved in either situation.

Polar happens to be tied to both MK and GR from within C&G. Athens/FoB happen to be tied to PC, who Grub is continually egging on. Other strings: Vanguard -> RoK and MK->GOONS. Now, let me again reiterate I am not defending \m/, but criticizing Polar. MK was put in the same situation as RoK (and to a lesser extent Athens/FoB) are in now, BY polar, just over a month ago. If this expands via PC hitting Polar, that puts almost all of C&G in a tight spot. Not something we enjoy one of our allies doing to us, especially since we vocally informed them before time.

When they effectively spit in the faces of their friends, what does that say? I just want to make it clear, that I detest \m/ and do enjoy seeing them mangled, but this was a terrible way for Polar to go about doing it. They lost a lot of respect on this one, when they really had nothing to lose from the start, by just not involving themselves. My only 'friend' involved is Polar, but their actions make me question just how highly they actually value their friendships, if those friendships happen to stand in the way of some moralistic crusade that Grub appears to be on. And yes, I only speak for myself. Archon already spoke for MK. I never interpreted your words as otherwise. I do <3 me some STA.

If he's having such delusions of grandeur, then I feel sorry for him. There is no way this situation was a 'world changing' one. Same goes for Polar when they went after \m/ in discussions. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. Cliche, but seriously, if the insults were a result of hard headed stubbornness, then sometimes yeah, people do deserve to get told to stick it where the sun don't shine. I could go bully my way into some of purple's affairs, and as soon as they start insulting me for being where I don't belong, am I supposed to then declare war on them, when it was I who initiated it? That's terrible logic.
