These things are an eternal debate for a variety of reasons and tend to be situational. I personally like it but there's plenty of people who will fight me to the death over that opinion. There are upsides and downsides. I am not going to elaborate further, though.

True. The toxicity was primarily from COBRA and SS/TPF. The irony, then, of who the two vocal idiots in this thread are.

If I had to guess, because we do have some abrasive personalities, people think if they spin stories it will be believable. And sometimes, for brief moments, they're right about it being believable, until we have to come in and lay out the complete picture. About 80% of it comes from obsessive former boognish members, and about 80% of it (not necessarily a one-to-one overlap) is people HARD projecting their own toxicity onto us as some sort of... cover story, or something? Seriously, the amount of times that it turns out the people accusing were, themselves, wallowing in filth... it's stunning at times.

Case in point, ego. It's sad you can't accept your own shortcomings. What was that? Pride cometh before the fall? You are, after all, the expert on that. And please. People make up colorful accusations against NG like twice a week. I don't know why it's such a popular pastime, but it's boring, and tiring, and at this point, like Kapleo and yourself, stale.
