  1. In this thread, I have literally disagreed with every other NG poster and most other people (except for filthy neutral jerdge) on whether or not this white peace deal ended DBDC's open war dec. Is that not enough of an independent thought? Or do I have to lose all my friends and become a social outcast before it counts?
  2. For you, it hasn't been for a while now.
  3. This is quite literally the opposite of what I said. We ended the Hegemony, and attempts at raids will most likely be met with massive retaliation. On paper, this war is a "draw," but in pragmatic terms, we have re-shaped the political landscape and ended the unipolar paradigm. It's a game now, boys and girls. I know, it's tough for people like you and Kap, as people better than you achieve your wettest dreams of yesteryear. So I get it, I get why you're out here running your mouth.
  4. If DBDC declares wars, it's not going to re-activate the whole conflict, it's just going to get DBDC dogpiled. They can't hide behind NPO et al. anymore, nobody is afraid of it. That lasted them a good while, but the Hegemony is now dead. White peace ends all states of conflict between the signed parties (including obligating the end of the "DoW on the World" as it pertains to Herogasm, but not alliances outside our coalition). It imposes no other legal restrictions, of course, and Doom could open a new war, but it would be a new conflict, not a continuation of their prior open declaration. This is basically meaningless e-lawyering and semantics for wiki editors, I suppose. The long and short of it is, they wouldn't be breaking the white peace agreement by going back to war, but neither would such an action be consequence free. This agreement was reached because a lot of people wanted to rebuild, and I am guessing people who fought alongside Doom wouldn't be terribly happy to be dragged back into another war so soon.
  5. That's why I quoted you, certainly. NG members speak freely. That shouldn't be construed as a diplomatic incident, because it isn't. But, I'm just saying, were I a gambler, which I am, I would not place any bets on your longevity over there. Not because of anything we are concerned about, I just have a hunch.
  6. This is not the claim. The claim is that it ends the policy with regards to Herogasm coalition members. Anyone who was not part of our coalition, and therefore did not sign a peace agreement with Doom, is presumably still subject to their open war declaration on the world. Which, again, isn't to say they couldn't immediately open a new conflict, but it would be a brand new conflict, it would not be a continuation of their prior Open War Declaration. This is, more or less, meaningless e-lawyering, the only real takeaway is that we (Herogasm signatories) no longer can use their years old declaration as a CB in the future. That's literally it, lol. Thankfully for Doom, you don't speak for them, as you continue to insist that we're still at war even though we signed peace (?????). This is some of the most breathtaking stupidity these forums have ever known. Please consider taking just half a second to think before you post, instead of just being an impulsive contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian.
  7. Doom and Herogasm are, per this agreement, at peace. If the declaration from years ago were still active, then we would not be at peace. The peace agreement closes ALL conflict that existed between Doom and Herogasm, and supersedes any and all states of hostilities between the signed parties with a state of peace. I do not understand why this is difficult to grasp. Further, it is solely to Doom's benefit that Herogasm acknowledges a close to the open raiding declaration (as it pertains to Herogasm alliances). Nothing in the agreement prevents Doom from re-opening hostilities against undersigned alliances (besides the certainty of a mass retaliation, and whether or not they want to have a full blown war again so soon, coupled with the subsequent depletion of trust and faith that another white peace would be viable), but an acknowledgement of peace prevents Herogasm from using their prior declaration as a CB again, as it was used for this war. "In no position to make demands" is absolutely mental because it's literally solely to the benefit of Doom to acknowledge this reality. The only reason to deny it would be to try to keep open a path for using it as a future CB against Doom. I have no words to describe the infinite reach of your stupidity.
  8. Are you mental? It does not matter how or when the war started, insofar as this agreement is concerned, this white peace is an endpoint for ALL conflict and war between Doom (and others) and all undersigned alliances of Herogasm. Which means it closes the open ended raiding declaration that Doom issued long ago, insofar as that applies to undersigned Herogasm coalition members. Should Doom launch offensives, this would be a new conflict. At present, there is peace. There is every reason to believe we are at a state of peace currently. This is just some of the dumbest logic I have seen from you yet.
  9. White peace is peace with essentially no restrictions on either side (other than an equal commitment to the end of hostilities). Doom could very well decide to declare a brand new war at any moment of their choosing, but this would be a new conflict - and one which I would imagine would draw immediate and forceful repercussions. I would consider this agreement to have put a closure to the existing open-ended conflict specifically with the signatories of the Herogasm coalition. They have not, however, signed peace with anyone outside our coalition. So that can be left for other e-lawyers to sort out.
  10. I am informed that this is a permanent feature for all users. Sorry for the post.
  11. Getting a little annoying on the buy soldiers/buy tanks screens, just perpetual Captcha verification. Possibly a bug?
  12. We could offer you surrender terms instead, if it suits you.
  13. What you fail to account for is our objectives as a coalition. "Winning" is not so much a contest of raw stats (though I am certainly proud of our output, not just NG specifically but the entire coalition, as you note, the margin is slim, and the motion of the needle has reversed to our favor) But our objectives, overall? It's been a resounding success. We have broken the conventional wisdom of Oculus and Doom holding the whole world hostage, we've proven your bloat and weakness, we've brought activity and excitement to the world, we've exposed the cracks in your now former hegemony. We've knocked you down from what you assumed was a high place of uncontestable power. We don't need to obliterate you to have beaten you. If a 4.5% damage differential is what you have to hold on to pretend you haven't lost so much ground, then I suppose I can't stop you from consoling yourself with those small numbers. But rest assured, we've won, and big. If and when this ends, it will be with white peace, but what has been done, is done.
  14. It wasn't exactly what Johnny suggested so I deleted it. But it would be fun. Realtalk, we are winning, but it's not like the old days where winning meant you absolutely obliterated your opponents. There is so much bloat it's almost too much to deal with. They can have 1000 nations doing absolutely nothing and we can tear any one of them to shreds, but at the end of the day we still only have so many outgoing warslots. So it's hard to make them even realize they've been losing the whole time, lol. Normally, you crush people's morale to get them to make concessions, but I think the world today is overwhelmed by apathy more than anything. This pretty much leaves only two possible outcomes, perpetual war or white peace.
  15. NPO has quite clearly expressed their desire to punish Polaris for having a mind of their own. The idea that the "Polar front" was going to peace out ahead of the "primary front" (I use these terms VERY loosely, as we are all in this fight together, but from your perspective, apparently), and that's what our side misunderstood? That's one of the most absurd and insane theories in this whole thread.
  16. Yeah, we are not in agreement at all. As Sauron posted, the idea that was floated was that separate but FIRM dates could be negotiated for different fronts, IF AND ONLY IF those alliances wanted to agree to fight for a bit longer. The proposal was NEVER to split the coalition, have separate negotiations entirely, or leave allies on the battlefield indefinitely. Whether you jumped to a hasty conclusion or are willfully misinterpreting, I don't know. But we are very much in disagreement. Let this whole moment serve as notice that our "party" consists of Every. Single. Alliance. On this side. Period. That's Polar, that's OBR, that's OG, that's CRAP, and that's everyone else who is fighting. Our "party" is not some subset of alliances to be split apart. Next time you come to the table, bear that in mind.
  17. So, it was floated, in passing, "certain parties entered later than others and maybe wanna fight for a bit longer so it would be possible but complicated to set several different specific dates for different fronts to peace out if those parties want to keep fighting, any thoughts guys?" And this somehow this passing comment was interpreted a hard offer from our side that we would abandon allies to indefinite war? Amazing stuff. Thank you for shedding light on this, @Sauron
  18. So you're saying NPO and IRON are playing those roles?
  19. 50% of the NPOers in my range do literally nothing. Investment paying off? The last 3 I "fought" didn't even bother to launch a single attack in any category. Yikes. The bloat and dead weight in NPO is actually incredible.
  20. Which side are you talking about here, again? Because I don't think it's nearly as true for our side as it is for our opponents. Other highlights in the thread: @DeathAdder is too busy to lob nukes once per day, but not too busy to spend hours s***posting on the forums. Alright.
  21. I am willing to consider that you out-damaged us in the very beginning, what with your bloated and unnaturally large nations walloping our upper tier. But those days are long past, and your lower tiers have been found severely lacking. So I would not say you are "still" out damaging us, not by a long shot.
  22. Did you know, the phrase "white peace" actually has a specific meaning, and you can't just make up whatever you want and call it "white peace" when it isn't?
