  1. You don't need that someone else checks war ranges for you, which leaves me to ponder about the reason(s) you made this post for. An occasion to talk about yourself, maybe? Just a random guess.

I don't know how and I don't know why one could possibly want to.
  3. Considering the chest thumping at the address of the AIPVA it's probably safe to assume that they don't have the necessary firepower to pull it off. (An easy puzzle for you readers: if this post was a finger, what would be the moon? Hint: Moldavi Doctrines.)
  4. Firingline's nation is about ten months old, it has 15k infra, 15 Wonders and 1.3M casualties, it's not selling tech and it has been buying some, in such a scenario it's basically inevitable that they have a sub par treasury. One can disagree with their choices but it's not incompetence IMHO.
  5. The very rare times I get on discord I never find anything to read, listen to or say. Probably I'm boring.
  6. In conflicts of long ago, before the introduction of the Manhattan Project Wonder, when nukes were rare, the stronger side usually punished the few enemy nations using them. With MPWs and when nukes had proliferated the MK ended that practice (creatively, I might say). Even the GPA has now been considering them 'just weapons" for well over a decade. That's what they are, in my opinion. I too consider them a given and I think that's the right thing to do.
  7. If you don't address the content of my post, why quote it at all?
  8. Doomhouse, that's the only original one in my book. The Everything Must Die line proved wrong and it probably wasn't sincere in the first place, but the acting was true stuff, the play was honest and the entertainment real... and bear in mind that I didn't even particularly like most of them. Of course, probably the most of you readers have no idea of what I'm always blabbering about... mutters something unintelligible and stares at his fiddling fingers
  9. I found him a couple of days later, I maintain that he wasn't there the first time I went to look for him. However it's true that my incentives to learn discord are basically non existent. Maybe you can't live with certain allies but I can assure you that you could definitely live without allies. This is an easy world, you only need friends and freedom, allies are not necessary.
  10. I got there (a few days later tbh) and I didn't find you. Me being terrible at discord might have played a role in that...
  11. I don't know you very well but I'm ready to trust you on your word about your jokes capabilities, for good or for bad as they may be. I miss Stewie's presence here, btw. I gather that he managed to get banned, I don't know anything about the case thus I have no opinion on whether he really deserved it, but I wish he'd be allowed back (if he too wanted it ofc).
  12. This situation hasn't that many jokes and neither there's a DoW, though. What makes it a real shark week?
  13. The question is simple: what's a shark week, exactly. I already have a general idea of the thing. Mine is just genuine curiosity and nothing else. I'm not holding my breath, anyway. I think I've been knowing them for over a decade. Caustic generally is more helpful than this but I don't complain, it's just a question, not a life or death situation.
  14. Thank you for having taken the time to answer, although unfortunately your answer isn't very helpful, to say the least.
  15. I'm not sure how neutrality per se has anything to do with slot efficiency, however I'm happy to make yet another pointless post about it, and my take on it. To me neutrality meant not to support any external party, not to be indifferent to any of them (although I am indifferent to most of them). When I cared about CN I used to have pretty strong opinions, I just didn't air them, unless doing so served me or my friends. And yes, not having to get into all the stuff you briefly alluded to is liberating.
  16. The game as CN or the game as what's going on in this thread? The second one, which doesn't exclude the third one. It was difficult to tell by design. (I wasn't trolling you, BTW.) (I'll get back to JA's post later. Maybe.)
  17. They can fill OC's slots exactly because they have a lot of free slots themselves. Were they at 100% efficiency they wouldn't have slots to use with OC. Glad to have cleared it for you.
  18. The Tournament Edition resets, I was talking of something more gradual.
  19. My uneducated explanation is much simpler: this game exceedingly rewards seniority and there's no attrition or disincentive that goes against just staying there, doing little or nothing for any long period of time. The seniors grew up but they didn't all leave the game, their interest for the game faded but they remained attached to their old big nations and alliances. They built a cluster of treaties to freeze everything they could, they have no incentive to put their old nations and alliances at risk. With time almost everyone became senior, and here you are. If there was some mechanism that made stats disappear with time you'd see real action again. Good luck having anything like that implemented into the game, though. I won't hold my breath. (And I'm one of those seniors that moved on, anyway. Or though.)
  20. Thanks for reminding me of how much easier it is to have no part in any of that. Impressive work, anyway, my respect to those involved in creating the tool.
  21. ChimaJunkaTywiZigur has been accused of many things but this is the first time I hear he'd be crypto fascist. I understand the fun that can be found in making light of his too often absurd discourses, but... it lacks gentleness. Gentleness which - and yes and apologies: I know that I'm going out on a limb with this - is something he'd be in dire need to be shown and to experience. Beware, do not create your little personal Goldstein. Keep watch on yourselves. (But what do I know, anyway?)
  22. Bragging and bickering over war results is just as exciting as it was five thousand days ago, which by the way is roughly the same era in which actual conventions were effectively purged from this place. But I still care, I'm that old fashioned.
  23. I'm saying that her mentors, at least the ones I think she was alluding to, were way too arrogant to credibly flatter anyone. If you want to be nice you can say that I'm implying that they weren't without merits. Incidentally, licking boots isn't natural.
  24. For once, you're wrong, her mentors couldn't have taught her any of that.
