  1. Not what, why and how, the answers being arbitrarily and don't worry. (Sorry for having hitchhiked the thread, I guess old habits never die.) My question is, how and why art in this place?
  2. Hai perso il paradiso ma l'Europa è così / cerca il diavolo negli occhi degli altri. (You lost paradise but Europe is like that / searching for the devil in the others' eyes.)
  3. I didn't know that NGers had questionable hygiene, too, but now that you mentioned it I realize that I'm not all that surprised. SMH.
  4. This. Now for like the hundredth time in the last dozen+ years: requesting forced apologies and then complaining that they wouldn't meet some standard says about you something that, had you thought about it, you wouldn't have really wanted people to associate with you. (This advice is provided for free just out of my famously generous Heart of Gold: obviously feel free to ignore it, and carry on.)
  5. TBF sanctions are an unbalanced feature in that with very little effort the Senator player jeopardizes aid and trade of several other players. I can understand the playing value of Senate dynamics, but sanctions should IMHO be used very sparingly, if at all. I wouldn't recommend them even for the occasional rogue (OK maybe for the persisting/annoying ones).
  6. Like all groups NONE comprised all sorts of people, that those with a taste for raiding were recruited for raiding doesn't tell much about the whole group. The sample you're mentioning wasn't selected in a neutral/random guise, therefore it wasn't as significant as you seem to think. What were Walford's plans and ideas? As a topic that's much more relevant (or irrelevant, as it was, like what? fourteen years ago?...)
  7. Your version of Walford's and NONE's activities is, uh... fantastic. (Not as great or terrific, the other meaning of the word.)
  8. Random reminder that boredom is best kept at bay by doing something challenging and/or by handling something unpredictable and at least mildly dangerous. It's called excitement. Now, extracting any excitement out of the gazillionth raid of unsuspecting, unprepared, inexperienced and massively outgunned hopeless targets really looks like sorcery to me... no idea how you can do that, people. Maybe I'm just lacking in imagination, I don't know.
  9. Why would any of you people complain or be disappointed about anything at all? There's nothing to salvage here anymore, if you don't find it satisfactory just spend your time elsewhere and be done with it. Unless you find satisfactory to complain for the sake of it, in that case please carry on.
  10. Well not the worst ones to say the least.
  11. I agree that Canik can't compete with Caustic - no offence meant, Can - but Grub is even better at that game. Or better at being worse. (Although maybe Caustic is more effective at it when it's about you specifically.) Incidentally I have no idea why they have no respect for you, WC. Unbelievable.
  12. Like or dislike Hakai and his posts - and heavens know how much I hate both and especially him - but the OP is a piece of fine art everyone and not just me should be awesomely envious of. Well the hell done.
  13. Fair enough, I'd label what you describe as peacefulness but I can see why another would use the term pacifism at large. As for the rest I'll go out on a limb to suggest the wild thought that, of all people, I'm the best suited to decide what uses of my time qualify as wasteful. I kindly listen to any and every one but at the end of the day I've always danced at my tune, and I'm OK with going on like that.
  14. It's a race to the bottom, the last one wins.
  15. Peacefulness isn't pacifism either... Elaborating a bit: in theory I'd be pacifist if I refused to arm up and to prepare for whatever fight might come my way, instead concentrating my efforts on dialogue, mutual understanding, collaboration and the like. If I was instead ready to fight but also not looking for or desiring to fight, I would be peaceful, or non-interventionist, but not pacifist. (In practice I don't care, thus me doing or not doing anything has no particular meaning, but this is besides the point.)
  16. Reading comprehension didn't show that much in your post. Just in case my words are too challenging for you I'll try to dumb stuff down a little. Let's start with something simple: Neutrality is not pacifism. Please post a reply showing that you got the handle of what I'm saying, thanks.
  17. Being neutral implies not being moralist, you noob. You're correct about the casualties thing, anyway, the GPA wasn't interested in them.
  18. I talk about myself all the time, so, well...
  19. You don't need that someone else checks war ranges for you, which leaves me to ponder about the reason(s) you made this post for. An occasion to talk about yourself, maybe? Just a random guess.

I don't know how and I don't know why one could possibly want to.
  21. Considering the chest thumping at the address of the AIPVA it's probably safe to assume that they don't have the necessary firepower to pull it off. (An easy puzzle for you readers: if this post was a finger, what would be the moon? Hint: Moldavi Doctrines.)
  22. Firingline's nation is about ten months old, it has 15k infra, 15 Wonders and 1.3M casualties, it's not selling tech and it has been buying some, in such a scenario it's basically inevitable that they have a sub par treasury. One can disagree with their choices but it's not incompetence IMHO.
  23. The very rare times I get on discord I never find anything to read, listen to or say. Probably I'm boring.
  24. In conflicts of long ago, before the introduction of the Manhattan Project Wonder, when nukes were rare, the stronger side usually punished the few enemy nations using them. With MPWs and when nukes had proliferated the MK ended that practice (creatively, I might say). Even the GPA has now been considering them 'just weapons" for well over a decade. That's what they are, in my opinion. I too consider them a given and I think that's the right thing to do.
