There are several variables to how well you prepare your nation, when you attack, how you attack. I'd say that in the Karma War, Syzygy was pretty deadly, I'm glad he was on my side

Wow! What a thread! Just a couple comments. 1. GGA does not need a thread like this to break a treaty with NPO. (Maybe this thread was meant as a PR boost, but that ship has sailed.) 2. Ironchef isn't GGA Trium anymore, it's Shaneprice, DeCepter and someone else. 3. Let's give GGA anther change to put their house in order. If they do, it's another old alliance resurging. If they don't, we get more hilarity. It's a win-win. 4. I don't think NPO is at fault here. Acting under stress and without thought isn't malice. 5. This was a massive misunderstanding blown out of proportion. 6. No need to bash NSO here. (And Athens weren't the only ones doing it.) 7. 2.5 mil and 50 tech aren't harsh terms, they're too damn lenient. Suppose my nation is totally broke and has 4 aid slots. I do 4 tech deals, and viola! 4 tech deals take 30 days, IRON has 90 days to pay off the reps. And that's assuming that a tech deal only nets 1 mil, whereas in reality it'll net more than that. Another week at war would have cost IRON much more then these terms. That being said, o/ AK (Alliances of Karma) o/ IRON You guys fought a damn good war, it was fun to watch

On the Francesca thing. I was Dep. MoFA, while she was MoFA and I was working closely with her. Some say that her goal was to steer MCXA towards Karma. But that wasn't my goal. My goal was keeping MCXA neutral and letting MCXA members decide which part of the war they want to join. Also, MCXA wasn't ready for war. And everyone in the Gov't. knew it. It's pretty damn impressive what MCXA did, and how MCXA rallied it's members for the war. However, we knew MCXA wasn't ready for war. If an alliance isn't ready for war, the best thing to do is to buy time and prepare. When I expressed my sentiments to Francesca, she accepted them. She didn't fire me as Dep. MoFA, even though an agent on acting on behalf of Vox wouldn't want to sit this war out. Was she working for Vox or MCXA? As for the trials. Out of the four people tried, I was the only one that lasted throughout the entire trial and was found not guilty due to lack of evidence. However Francesca had the exact same evidence against her. Yet she was impeached. As a result she resigned. Shall I mention your trial thread Maxfiles? How I caught you lying red handed? How I posted your logs, that contradicted your qoute? The other members' opinion of what you did? Or would simply stating that you resigned and re-applied because you lost your trial be enough? BTW, I resigned as a result of Maxfiles being readmitted and restarting the drama. I was tired of drama by that point. Francesca also used intel acquired from Vox to help MCXA. I didn't know she was Vox when I was in MCXA and she said the intel came from a friend. Using that and similar intel, the Foreign Affairs Dept. was able to formulate the exact sides of the war that major alliances would take. How is posting this intel in the General Assembly, in any way, shape or form a betrayal of MCXA?

Is #Vox_Populi going to remain open? It's one of my fave channels o/ Vox (for being honorable and seeing it through ) o/ MegaAros (for always being friendly ) o/ Gatherum (for the entertainment in #Vox_Populi - that was epic! )

The thread is interesting. However I would advise that more members can should be gained until your next announcement. Although the mood is anti-NPO, (the constant rolling over B/S CBs might have something to do with that,) you should focus more on recruitment and less on PR at the moment. When you guys combine forces and elect a senator, make another announcement. Because in all honesty, Vladimir was easily able to destroy the OP by pointing out that all of these alliances would have been allowed to exist under NPO. I see what you are trying to do here, and I'm interested in watching how this will play out. However PR like this won't help your cause. Working to elect a senator, and Vox electing another senator, limiting NPO to only one, will help your cause, and then you should make a PR announcement about it. Then again, I'm only going to be an audience member in this. So take my advice as you choose to.

One thing about propoganda is that it's like Karma. If you do it to others, it will ricochet and hit your butt, in RL or on Planet Bob. Be careful with the power of propaganda. That being said, the NPO nations I'm fighting are fighting honorably and to the best of their ability. And entering hippy mode after fighting is not as dishonarable as some point it out to be. It is sad that a thread like this can be written against NPO, considering that NPO are fighting the war, but NPO used the same propaganda against FAN, GPA, and some other alliances, and guys, Karma's a !@#$%*

Which alliances are doing the best job in this war? Which alliances absolutely blow at fighting? If politics did not exist, based on pure military valor and honoring treaty obligations, which alliances would you ally with?

I think that there are some alliances still at war with FAN and Vox. When you say "if you are a member of alliance X and if you come out of peace mode you will be ZIed" is in essence a ZI policy applied to an entire alliance. Although, I could be behind on some of the news, seeing as I'm in the midst of warfare, and if that's the case, then As for MK and TSO, I wasn't speaking of relationships, I merely pointed out that TSO and MK were both able to pay off harsh reps. Well TSO is still working on it, but I think overall they'll be able to pay it off. We agree o/ Two more months!

Thank you guys! It's just that I've been hearing this from alliance members on both sides, Hegemony and Karma, that somehow demanding reps is a bad thing and makes us all look like the ebil Hegemony. I'm more about valid CBs. BTW - I don't think that hegemony is as ebil as a lot of people make them out to be either.

Well here's my two cents on the reps.: An attack on Ordo Verde is an attack on the Viridian Entente. Anyone who thinks otherwise, doesn't know Green Team history at all. Also, the BELOW Bloc is rock solid. As solid as the STA-NpO treaty, and that's as solid as it gets in Cyberverse. Also the Superfriends and Ragnabloc are solid. Case in point: by attacking Ordo Verde, NPO knew, or should have known, that it would be at war with VE, RoK and the coaltions helping the two major alliances. For us this is a defensive war. Don't get me wrong. We're glad to be fighting with Karma. However I fail to see what exactly is wrong with asking for reps from your attacker if you parried his attacks. I fail to see how this makes us bad. I fail to see how the NPO's CB on OV has any merit. While we declared war on NPO in defense of OV, for VE this is a defensive war, because we are defending our allies and they would gladly do the same for us, that's what allies are for! And in this war we have taken damage. We have lost infra, some of our nations as much as half their infra. I fail to see what is wrong with asking NPO for the reps to compensate our losses. How does this make us unjust? A robber comes in, burns down half of your house, and asking him to repay for the damage makes us evil? As for the other terms, I'd say that all alliances at PZI and all nations at EZI or PZI get peace. More peace is not evil. Also, in Cyberverse we share our spheres. Again, I don't understand how these terms are harsh, or mean, or bad. (This post may or may not reflect the views of the Government of the Viridian Entente. Thing is, FAN didn't disband, whereas GOONs and NordReich did. Hence it's wrong to throw FAN into that mix. Whether you disbanded, but not unofficially is irrelevant, as you are comparing an alliance that has disbanded with one that has not. Errr, ummm, not really. Karma War isn't a resurrecting healer. One thing Karma War is against though, would be B/S CBs. Just like your past CB on the Commies. B/S CBs now make you rollable, just a friendly reminder. TPF hasn't been peaced yet? I thought it's just about NPO and possibly IRON now. I love the two lines. They go so well together. Just around here? History repeats itself everywhere.

If The Russian Empire becomes a red sphere alliance, I am going to have more jokes then I can handle (Red was generally the color of Rus' in the early days, and then, when Peter the Great took over and turned Russia to Europe it became whiter, and in the end the empire was overthrown by the Red Army.
