Regent of Omerta

This past Thursday, I resigned the position of Grand Master of The Templar Knights and thus defacto ruler of said alliance. I have reached the point where I feel I do not have the drive or time to continue in this capacity. I want everyone in this game to clearly understand that I do this of my own free will. I was not forced out nor were any other government who decided to step down around the same time I did. It was happenstance that all occurred in a short time as many of us grew weary of the commitment this takes. It seemed a good time for new people at the helm and to give others a chance to shine. Hopefully I am right in making this decision as I did not make it lightly, but it is time for a changing of the guard and I feel confident a new leadership with a good drive and direction can lead from this point on. I also saw some of the largest changes to the Templar Knights have ever seen. I did my best to relinquish a great deal of power to the priory and membership than any other previous Grandmaster, promoting the ability of the Alliance to direct itself. Economically, TTK has risen in average NS of nearly 29,000, an increase of over 10,000 in average NS. That is a rather significant climb for any alliance to make. It shows that our growth in members may have tapered off, but our drive to be a success was not hampered in the slightest. I think that was more of a team effort and shows the resolve of a small group when a common goal is defined. To my friends in the Chestnut accords and Maroon Economic Pact, I hope you will continue to treat the new Grand Master with the same respect that you have shown me. It was a privilege to work with all of you on the level we did. I think my replacement will be able to continue and even progress those efforts beyond what my contributions did. What we accomplished was a feat I never thought possible and is no small achievement for a sphere once referred to as the Balkans. I hope my efforts will be considered as an asset to the whole sphere, not just TTK. I say all of that not for recognition, but to give a benchmark for the incoming Grand Master. I think he will take my efforts and excel far above them. I hope he does. If his attitude is any indication of what he is capable of. He will go far in this game and in real life. He has been the voice of reason many times when I was angered to the point of exploding. A testament to his ability to lead by example. I know I have learned from him as much as I hope I have given him to work with. Time will tell. I know I speak for the entire alliance, and many others friends in wishing him well for the future in both Planet Bob and life in general. He is more than deserving. With all of that said, this has left a gap within TTK’s leadership. Following the charter , an election was held. The whole alliance membership having the opportunity to exercise their choice over a selection of candidates for a new Grand Master was held for the first time in the history of The Templar Knights. Thus, Cyphon88 was duly elected Grand Master for The Templar Knights. May his reign be peaceful and successful. You deserve it my friend. You definitely earned it. For now, I will merely sit and shake my head at your post. I assume you are the former "Star Fox" in which case you really should learn to do something besides try to incite aggravation and have your nation beat to a pulp by those you irritate. I'm gonna have to agree with this statement completely. Most people do not want to be led like sheep in this game with the direct result being KARMA. Good, bad or indifferent, that's just how it worked out. Actually no, I agree with Heinous again on his reply to you a few posts up. Not everyone in this game cares about being top dog or there would be quite a few more alliance wars and curb stomps.

Well I can't claim that I did it all myself cuz.....I didn't. Although I am responsible for all of this group of Marshals. I would also like to make note that one Marshal change has taken place as one of them has need in RL to step down. I hate to see him do so but on the same note I think I found an adequate replacement. Hanson has stepped down as our Marshal of Defense in the last couple of days. I have asked Napoleon Blownapart to step in for as long as he wishes to fill the slot and he has accepted.

Actually, NPO did it to Legion after GW3. They had the leader (His name eludes me) and founder (Great Britain) kicked and Perma ZI'd if I recall correctly which I'm 100% sure I do. I'm not defending anyone's removal mind you nor protecting a stance, just pointing out a fact that seems to have been long forgotten... Oh and this is my last post in this thread as I am growing tired of the incessant bickering, so wasting your time replying to what I just said is just that, a waste of YOUR time, not mine.

And that is all TTK did was honor a treaty, an MADP an which just happened to coincide with a couple of MDoaP's. My hat's off to echelon, they fought a hell of a fight with those of TTK they did battle with.

Thanks folks but it's not all me, its EVERYBODY in TTK working as a team that makes us work so well. The government is but one part of TTK. Heed your own advice here as well. USN left without any notification on the Maroonity forums. I know this because I'm one of the site admins. I am also in all of the Maroonity IRC channels and I log them. No announcement on there, no advance notice, no discussion...nothing. Does this satisfy that CA does have all of the information we need to make an informed decision? As far as having an issue with you personally, when I do, trust me there will be no mistaking it.

I think the bigger question is does anyone even care? MHawk already said he holds no ill will and from what I see this was between Starfox and Geo anyway. Starfox already accepted his apology so there is no reason for this to continue taking up space.

Even though Wiccan said I can't, I feel compelled to post here lol. Just because one signatory decided to leave does not weaken the remaining allies' bond with each other. USN made a choice they thought best for them and the future of their alliance. I hope it serves them well as they continue to grow and hopefully progress in this game. That does not, however, lessen the degree of commitment the others in Chestnut have with each other as unified maroon alliances. Maroonity will go on, regardless of whether or not anyone outside of these accords believe we are committed as allies or not. To be honest, it really does not matter what you believe. What does matter is that the leadership of all of the signatories are in constant contact with each other and are all friends. I know Maroonity is still strong and I have total faith in ALL of her partners in this juncture. Sorry if you don't like that or it doesn't seem to fit what you have dreamed up because of obvious boredom on your parts, but it's simply a fact as I see it. I don't come busting in your front door screaming "oh noes" with half truths and misinformation, so show us a bit of respect in return. If we tell you we're unified, then you have no reason to doubt us if you can't provide evidence to the contrary. A signatory leaving, although sad, is just not what I would call a catastrophe when the rest are united. o/ CA!!

We simply honored a treaty. Once we were nuked, I told him people to do what they wanted. It's what I said I'd do and that's exactly what happened. I don't want to see the same result as the last global wars where when they end, there is a mass exodus on CN. No point in that at all. Sea - My condolences on your loss and check your PM's please.

Yeah he was protected by us a long time ago. When he signed a second protectorate with NV, I threw the one he had with us out the window. Don't have a problem with NV at all, just seemed serving two masters in this game is a bit much. It appears they've moved on from there as well. As for declaring on PC? well that didn't seem like a very well thought out plan at all.
