  1. Yeah, the fact that we're all individually tied to NPO is just a ruse, I tell you!
  2. Actually I have some regular fried chicken tenders for myself already done. I just use these junk steaks from some cows I tipped in your country, I hope you don't mind. Personally I love cows for their milk more than their meat.
  3. The funny thing being that this is completely true.
  4. I'm firing up the grill for steaks for anybody that wants them. Post your order from Medium to Well Done.
  5. That's copyrighted by the VE. Although I probably should be ecstatic that we're role models now.
  6. Glad to see this signed and delivered. I personally am proud of the UJA for everything it has done, and I'd like to wish Roo the best of luck with his new alliance.
  7. This and so much more. You've been a great friend as well as an ally and have helped us out during some dark times. Your service won't be forgotten and we are grateful for it. Have a nice vacation. B)
  8. You're Genesis now? Good luck, old friend.
  9. Im317 ... Hello CZ. Your check was lost in the mail.
  10. A very interesting theory, but one must remember that not all MDPs are equal. Who you sign with is more important than how many you sign. And military effectiveness is rarely the sole factor.
  11. No need to boast, Mr. Ghostbuster, but you do deserve it.
  12. As good an excuse as any to bump this off of the second page.
  13. I had been in a long-term donation deal with a nation until he missed the one for November and informed me that he would not be available again until January. I am seeking a donation deal for at least December, possibly longer. I offer basically to basically fill one of the receiving nation's aid slots with $3 million every ten days until the donation deal ends, though since on a month-to-month basis this will probably work out to around $12-$15 mil a month. The initial offer, and maybe even February's could be extended beyond that if the January donation I am owed comes through or middlemen are utilized. Please PM me in-game if you are interested and post here if you have any questions.
  14. I agree Magnum. Those are the traits Xi used to accuse me of back in the day.
  15. The irony of you quoting a bible verse. I kid, but good points all around. Then again I'm the guy everybody likes, even if they don't like the VE.
  16. Truth be told, he did sanction GGA. We were more upset at his leaving us as war broke out and then abusing his standing to sanction then the actual fact of getting a Senate seat.
  17. An interesting note: CDS and VE were so close that at one point (I think around September and October of 2006) we were close to a merge. However, we signed our first MDP with the NPO, and CDS decided to go in a different direction.
  18. Vox, if it was successful, would break up the current powerbase and possibly lead to more than one major side in the the treaty web. The point, though, is that it'd have to be around 100 times more successful than it has been to merely make a dent. So it comes down to whether or not you agree with Yoda (the Star Wars one) if trying but failing is worth anything.

    Treaties

The ironic thing is that if the VE was not as outgoing as we are, Xi would've never gotten that protectorate. Don't worry though, you know as well as anybody that our treaty is safe. Well, I should say treaties, and you've signed off on the names for both too. Have we had complaints internally about the number of treaties we hold? Yes. But there's never any agreement on which one(s) to cancel. We've always been a diplomatic alliance, and we are in regular communication with most, if not all, of our allies. Heck, there's not a single time on IRC if Xi and myself are both on that we're not talking. Not every alliance shows its true colors in the first few months of relations and being allied to us, or they might have gov changes, or royally screw up and not take responsibility, etc. The point I'm trying to make is that alliances and the people who lead them change, if not in name then in character and actions. I don't have a crystal ball, I can't see the future, so maybe sometimes we're a bit too optimistic when we sign a treaty. The moment those relations break down is when the cancellation talks start, not a moment before. We don't make decisions on treaties solely because of what might happen. While we have been disappointed and shocked by allies' actions in the past, we've also been pleasantly surprised.
  20. Seems to me that the bottom three sanctioned alliances are doing rather well today. And Solar Confederacy, time travel can be hazardous to your health.
