  1. One again, showing your total grasp of treaties, politics, strategy, and tactics.
  2. An attack on one is an attack on all.
  3. The more infighting in this thread between the alliances that made up eQ, the more you prove my point that eQ (as a political movement, not individual alliances) would have absolutely collapsed under the weight of it's own incompetence if not for NPO at the helm. The divergence between what various factions wanted and didn't want was comical at the time, and almost sad now. This is what happens when a bunch of people who don't know how to win manage to not lose.
  4. "Why isn't the world a simple place?" -4 simpl3 mind
  5. But who will bring the terrible political opinions and poor grammar?
  6. You strike me as the kind of person who enjoys a nice peach.
  7. Many in AI joined because it was bright, shiny, and new. AI was a populist movement and without the core values that make successful alliances, you get what AI is today.
  8. Can I just get a listing of the terms IRON wanted? That will make all future OWF Posting and MK/IRON relations much easier.
  9. Are you saying NPO was fighting AI? This post makes less sense than usual.
  10. You were talking hypotheticals. I was talking facts. EQ was bad and stood no chance without NPO at the helm. You need more than popular sentiment to win a war. NPO was the true steel. AI was pure iron, black and hard and strong, yes, but brittle, the way iron gets. They broke before they bent. And the rest of EQ? Copper, bright and shiny, pretty to look at but not worth all that much at the end of the day.”
  11. If I looked at your entire OWF history and quoted the relevant posts, how bad would you look for making a peace mode post?
  12. Watching the reactions to this thread are interesting. Reactions from those recently hoping for an eternal DH beatdown complain about how NPO/Brehon managed this past war are even more interesting. NPO was the only alliance in EQ with the leadership, intelligence, and political strength to direct the catastrophe that was Equilibrium. What Brehon wanted and didn't want is irrelevant, because without NPO, most of EQ would have continued wallowing in their own filth before taking a shot. NPO are streets ahead. Can you imagine EQ putting anything more than a few scratches in DoomHouse without the NPO to hold their hands while they fumble with the key? There is very little quality in CN and there was even less in EQ, (IRON, DT, GLOF, NPO not withstanding) Better, (and ignoring the obvious politics) can you imagine the bloodbath if NPO had somehow been on our side? It would have been like a soggy pinata fighting a Louisville Slugger.
  13. Moralism is in the past. sell sell sell! It's all about Honor Politics. Some will tell you the market has capped out but there's still gold to be had! Honor Politics is buybuybuy.
  14. I look forward to working with you and developing a healthy and friendly relationship between our alliances
  15. Nothing but the finest gentlemen posting itt.
  16. Also, how did DH/C&G turn into 'any alliance that ever happened to fight on the same side as DH/C&G during a war' The last time we took any real reps was 3 years ago following TOP-C&G We forgave most of those reps. Struggle as much as you would like, but you just dropped a steamer in that post and hoped nobody would look.
  17. Ask Liz how CSN's taking of reps from DT went over with Athens.
  18. I'm trying really hard to not post in this thread for a variety of reasons but holy !@#$.
  19. You saying that the years of effort by MK/C&G to eliminate crippling reps/terms were a bad thing?
