Added a really good Beercan Chicken Recipe
I've added one of my favorite Beer Can Chicken recipes, for those who love juicy roasted chickens, right after the roasted turkey. If you prefer, you can even use your favorite jerk seasoning recipe... I prefer jerk but the one I added is terrific for an excellent roasted chicken with a terrific flavor both on the skin and from the brine. Hope you like it... it's very easy to do. You can even add smoke to the fired side of the grill (Alder, Hickory, Pecan or Apple woods are great). For more smoke flavor, cold smoke it for an additional 2 hours. It will be juicy, smoky and flavorful then

Mia.. No matter what.. You are a great person and whether they love or hate your politics matters not. You rock and shouldn't worry about everyone's opinion because, yours IS more important than everyone else's.. or it should be.. to you
oo/ *huggles* Now get back to being trolled by professional Bridge Dwellers!

Any Mexican Carnicerias around? (butchers) They tend to have great selections and will do requests
(I have no idea where you live )

cross cut.. its a pattern you used to break down tough meat if you don't marinate.. I use it to break the bonds of the meat and allow the spice rub to reach deeper into the meat. You only need to go about 1/4 inch deep on the slices..
To do the slices, you just make X's on the meat or conversely, make diagonal slices every 1/4 inch in one direction (top left to bottom right) then perpendicular (top right to bottom left) on each side of the steak. Then you can rub your spices onto and INSIDE the slices.
Hope that explains it ok.. I'm a visual learner/teacher.. sorry I can't provide video

It's a good idea but far too many of those recipes use factory-processed ingredients. You'll get much better nutrition and taste if you use more fresh ingredients.
Tautology.. I agree whole-heartedly about fresh ingredients.. I actually cook most of my stuff from scratch. I developed most of these for friends who like my cooking but can't do the "from Scratch" option Its also easier for the college dormer to cook from a can than find a grocery store that is "close or affordable" with the good fresh stuff
I'm blessed: we have a terrific fish market, fresh farmers market and lots of local beef/pork/lamb/chicken and veggies/fruit at the markets. Straight from the grower/rancher is soooooo much better
Feel free to add your own spin on my recipes. I did

Anyone who doesn't like this is a terrorist. I will be trying these out for sure, Also I lost my clam chowder recipe and yours seems like a mighty fine replacement
I won a few (5) clam chowder contests on the Oregon Coast 5 of last 6 yrs (I didn't go this year ) Hope you like it!

I considered doing exactly that before I rejoined VE, but I decided I was not quite ready to quit yet.

I have no idea who to suggest.
Sadly, I was not a part of Karma and I don't know whether Nordreich's relationships allow it to be grouped under the 'New Hegemony', else I'd nominate myself because I could.
Unfortunately.. you are too NICE ...
Also Pen and xiph

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That's a funny joke.

Also, hai April
oo/ 1000 days \oo

All I can say is I love April. She is one of the kindest, sweetest people on CN and I hope that no matter what you decide April... That you always keep in contact
Congrats on the 1000 days.. and surviving RL ... Neither are easy and I'm sure most of us have thought of Deletion as the only salvation for our RL's
oo/ April (Much love! )

Every CN player who is 6' or over should try this out. The worst thing that happens is nothing. But, if we're really lucky, we could create a RACE OF GIGANTIC SUPERMEN TO RULE THE WORLD.
(If we don't all suffer brain damage from walking into door frames, that is....)
^^^ That is what I tell my kids.. They'll never have to worry about ducking into rooms or through doorways in their life time!

I read through the stuff, looks complex, something that would take time and devotion. I guess its a good thing that I'm happy being 6'1, because I haven't the time or the devotion to being healthy.
Although, it kinda sounds as if healthy/fit people will overall be taller on average then the average slobs like us who play CN.
Agreed.. I'm shrinking... 5'11 to 5'10.. but my girth is getting MUCH bigger... damn my cooking... oh and the CN Seditary Workout P9000!
