Pea soup and the incompetence of my fellow players

As much as I think the new trade system in CN is wonderful, it's causing a lot of upheaval across the broad spectrum. There are circles pulled apart, people desperately searching for new trade partners, and alliances going internal. And a lot of people left without trades.

Now, I've helped anyone I can find that needs trade circles. Most of them are members of my alliance. Some are people I was already organizing trades for, or friends from IRC that hang around in our public channel. I love helping people out, and I can really use anyone I get to fill gaps and get my trades train rolling. But when you don't read your messages for a whole week and I have to send two before I even get a response, don't blame me if I replace you with someone else! I had five other people all waiting on a circle. What was I supposed to do, leave them all hanging? I don't work for one member, I work for Colossus.

On another note, I've been cooking pea soup. One of my favorites and a regular meal, and tonight it's with fresh breadstick. Yummmmmmm...

Yes, it is. I personally have no objection for the few people who have stayed external and the external folks that are trading with us right now. I think trades are still one of the best ways to get to know people and network, but I must say I enjoy it a lot more now than I did before the update. It burned out 3 people before me and nearly did the same to me.

highly approve of you getting back into the kitchen

If you keep talking like that, it'll be crab stew for dinner tomorrow.

No cornbread, and honey?

Cornbread is hard to get here, and the over curious children make it quite hard to make it.

If your alliance can't create internal circles (for the most part, anyway, there will always be a couple of odd men out) then you're probably bad at this game??

Can't as in won't, or can't as in the bullying power of .gov isn't good enough?
