We find ourselves without massive warfare, the likes of which we saw in the Slavorussian War, the Gebivian War, and the most massive defeat that the European continent has ever faced, the Ferrous Pacific vs. Magna Europa. Although around the world we see some warfare, they are relatively minor struggles wherein loss of life is minimal, not nearly comparable to the wars that we have seen in the past, especially in Europe. However beneath the surface we can find a war going on, a war between not governmental ideologies, as that is not what is occurring, we find a war going on for influence and dominance, and therein we find a war going on between the ideologies of nations in their foreign policy, that is how they conduct themselves. Over the past years since the Slavorussian war, the Nordland has adopted key changes to its foreign policy that we will not discuss here, however they are intended for the purpose of winning this war against the Communist International Group. While the Nordland sleeps within her European shelter that she hath carved from the Rock and rubble that was the old Nordland, she may awaken for a few moments to find the world outsider her in chaos, and like a grand beast of the North, she extends her hand to guide the forces of the world so that they may find themselves on the path to righteousness. She makes her moves and rearranges the pieces so that those who are righteous may remain righteous, while those who are cowardly may still seek to advance on those weaker than them. And so behold as she sleeps, the Nordland may hear the explosions and catch the glimpses of the reports from the world around her, and she may feel that she or one of her dearest comrades is in danger. The beast may then reach out, to these nations whom she does hold so dear, and give them comfort and give them guidance. She extends her hand to remove those that are unfit, to put into place a working structure where all may enjoy the rest that she has, so that they may clean their wounds as she has, and so that they may endure the longest and grandest peace to ever grace themselves. The beast may sometimes have her territory encroached upon by hunters and those who would seek her death for their own profit, but it is for these reasons that the Nordland is a clever beast, and so does she awaken from her slumber just once to remove such a presence from moving in on her, to dispatch these threats that would rather her dead. And so now, at the conclusion of a long period of waking, with the establishment of the greatest alliance to ever grace this small world in which we live, an alliance between the strongest nations of the world, all around the world, she does proclaim that they are all protected by her, and that she, the great Northern beast, will do whatever it takes to defend any one of her friends who are so dear to her. And so now does she rejoice for some small time, before she doth sleep once more, lying in wait for the world to come and awaken her when they are ready, finally ready, to confront the mighty Nordland. Article II The nations will consult together separately and jointly, through self-improvement and intra-national aid, the parties shall maintain and develop appropriate means to deter and repel armed attacks and shall take all reasonable and proper actions to implement this Treaty and further its purposes. Article III Each Party recognizes that an armed attack upon any member of the bloc be it by nation, or a union of nations shall be construed as an attack upon all members of the Bloc. Unless the victim nation dismisses aid from the Bloc, all Parties shall respond to the attack as if they were also attacked. No Party shall consider such a conflict complete until the nation that was attacked and the majority of the Bloc are satisfied. The initial nation attacked in such a conflict, in consultation with the other Parties, shall define the terms under which Parties may accept surrender from opposing nations. Even if not brought in as combatants, Parties shall offer all due aid, financial and military, to victims and warring Parties. Article IV This treaty is firm and perpetual. Its bonds of union may only be broken 48 hours after a public announcement from a legitimate representative of the Party seeking to withdraw. Article V This Treaty shall be ratified by Gebiv, the Tahoe Republic, the Federal Republic of Groenlandia, the Greater Nordland Reich, and the Imperial Alliance in accordance with their respective processes and shall enter into force when announcements of ratification have been delivered to the other Parties. The original definition of evil which stems for its judeo-christian roots is "Not humble", does that then make you evil?
