But one of your regular members seems to have access to gov logs and is saying the logs Pez posted are not complete. Why doesn't he prove they are not complete and post full logs since he seems to have read them and has full access to your gov.
This is the line above the section of logs that Pez posted,

<Merrie_Melodies> Peztar I may drop the AA and rogue so until I decide

This is going to be fun watching you squirm your way out of this one.

Yet he was high enough ranking to inform Pez of the cancellation of \m/'s attackterate?
Apparently no \m/ember is too low on the totem poll to backpedal.

Err... I think the situation changes a bit when we are in the context of individual nations who are supposedly unaffiliated with an alliance.

If some random person tells me that they plan on going rogue on me, I think it is pretty ridiculous to condemn me/my alliance for doing something beforehand, instead of waiting for him to attack on his own terms. (I also think it would be stupid of the alliance to do nothing about it)
I'm going to go rogue on TOP tomorrow. Be prepared

Or I posted my logs in our general area? Eh?

This is where I wouldn't pre-empt them, but be on guard if/when they do.

Until they actually do the action of going rogue, it's just drivel, hyperbole.

I could spout off about going rogue on Legion nations, but until I actually do, they can't really do much.

Well I was and still am wearing the \m/ AA. \m/ still claims me as member. and I told Pezstar I was thinking about roguing, so, go figure

Shall we look at the chain of events?

1. You tell us you're planning on going rogue on Boomhower.
2. We confront your gov about it.
3. A member of your gov confirms you have left.
4. We attack you.

Tell me where we went wrong there. It's not our responsibility to know which of your gov members to trust.

And this, coupled with a different government member confirming MM is no longer in the alliance means we shouldn't attack him? Mmmhmm.

:D

Of course it depends on how legitimate the threat is--you're joking... right?

But back on topic, given that the assumption of non-membership at time of STA's attacks is under question now, I have nothing else to say.

But if you publicly (or at least to the Legion) tell them you're going to go rogue on them and then another government member tells Legion you have left \m/, Legion is wrong for attacking you first?

I see you're so confident in your position that you're defending Merrie Melodies. If he was attacked unjustly, why don't you do something about it?

Also, I'd like to point out that Merrie Melodies is an ex-NSO member. Therefore, I get partial credit for these shenanigans.

Shall we look at the chain of events?

1. You tell us you're thinking about going rogue on Boomhower.
2. We confront someone who doesnt have any real government powers about this.
3. A member of \m/ confirms that you left .
4. We attack you.

Tell me where we went wrong there. It's not our responsibility to know which of your gov members to trust.

There, I fixed the chain of events for you.

Why on earth would you ever get the assumption that I'm joking? You're going down.

I would so laugh if you got attacked over that. :P
It wouldn't be the first time TOP's preempted someone :v:

So thinking about something is now a crime? Are you the new thought police?
And I was asked by a Trium to not leave and not do anything, that's what I did to see how things played out. Of course you guys just couldn't control yourselves.

[02:03] <Merrie_Melodies> When I nuke boomhower I am sure it will fit rogue

"When", not "if".

Also, pretending you are right, how would that give \m/ any more of a right to be mad about this?

It is not the STA's responsibility to have your charter memorized. If you have members who are in your government acting like they have the authority to make decisions and informing us who is and who isn't in your alliance, then they are speaking on behalf of your alliance. It wasn't a wacky regular member that will be kicked out. It was a member of your government, though one that seems to have no power. What is the point of government members with no power?

That, my good sir, is a strawman. Again, it isn't our responsibility to know which of your gov can be trusted.

I clearly said I was thinking about it and hadn't decided. You have the logs, don't be a liar it weakens your position.

I do have the logs. You say you're thinking about attacking boomhower, and then a line later say that "when" you attack him it "will" fit as a rogue. Not "if" you attack him it "would" fit as a rogue. Seems to me you made up your mind, eh?

In response to Pezstar telling me what a rogue a attack is and isnt, correct?

Also a little bold for clarity.

No, the new thought police would be RoK, who pulled peace terms off the table for us because we, oddly enough, were disagreeing with their CB on the OWF. Respectful public conversation blah blah blah. But hey, why not keep trying to paint STA as the villains you're in bed with.

I'm going to clarify a few things to make it clear.

Chief Savage Man does not have the executive powers to act on behalf of \m/ as a triumvirate in their absence.

Merrie Melodies is still a member of \m/.

Merrie Melodies did not at any point confirm he was going to go rogue on STA.

STA attacked someone based on an assumption.

STA illegally attacked someone.

Isn't the bigger issue that your own government denied that you were a member? If they changed your mind, it's not STA's fault that they didn't inform them.
