In the course of our research for an effective infantry combat suit, we have explored numerous options. The end result for us was to develop numerous suites for all environments. While an easy solution, the cost of developing one suit in numerous camouflage patterns wasn't the most cost effective solution. Therefore, we began to look at other options. In the end, we have found an easy and cost effective solution with the use of nanotechnology. With the use of nanotechnology, we have discovered that the prototype suits have the capabilities to actively cloaking and conceal depending on their environment. The smart camouflage can, within moments of coming into contact with almost anything, replicate both the pattern and texturing of the touched object. Preset patterns and textures can both be loaded and saved to memory for later use. It applies thermal technology to regulate the temperature of the suit to better blend with what the suit is mimicking, allowing the user to stay as hidden as possible even under thermal imaging.

If you're fighting in a desert environment, the suit will naturally change colors to match the sand. The same can be said in the snow and forest environments.

While we have discovered this unique technology, we currently lack the proper facilities to put such a system together. This is where the UFE comes into the equation. We request that you guys finish the research and give us the make up to mass produce such as system.
F-2 Sino Fighter II
Engine Thrust: 3-D Nozzle Thrust Vectoring Variable Output Dual Turbojet
Dry Thrust: 65, 000 lbs
Afterburner: 80, 000 lbs
Empty Weight: 10, 500 lbs
Maximum Load-out: 39, 000 lbs
Range: 4100 nmi
Combat Radius: 2400 nmi
Maximum Speed: Mach 3.6
Super Cruise: Mach 2.8
Key Features:

Sensors: The Sino Fighter II uses body photonics and unified smart skin sensor technology. This eliminates the need for a nose cone based sensor system and much of the large wire based systems found in conventional aircrafts. Instead photonics deliver information from micronized processors and light weight advanced data storage which provides maximum power out put for IR, lidar, multi band low probability of intercept radar, synthetic aperture radar, and long range electro optical identification. This provides maximum resistance to jamming and resistance against cyber attacks. The sensor suite is capable of concentrating radar energy to engage in data jamming, directed energy attacks capable of frying most circuitry, and engaging in cyber attacks. The Sino Fighter II is optimized for tracking large amounts of air and ground targets and sharing and receiving data with the rest of the UFE combat network.

Maneuvering Features: The Sino Fighter II is designed with the lowest drag and weight in mind. The planes extremely low front profile was created as a base using software programs designed to product the most aerodynamic airframe possible minimizing energy lossage. Its base body was then constructed by 3-d printing to ensure minimal machine error. Its dual 3-d thrust vectoring nozzle provides unparalleled thrust. Combined with its light weight and incredible thrust-weight ratios this aircraft is capable of insane rates of climb, combat speed, and all around ass kicking.

Engine Features: The Sino Fighter II is designed with a dual engine variable turbojet. Because the Sino Fighter II is not designed to be a near space capable long range strike aircraft as well, the PDE was sacrificed in favor of a more powerful and finely tuned turbojet. In this while it enjoys significant range improvements over the 5th generation fighters it is still well behind the quantum. The engine block is built with RCS reduced shaping for both thrust vectoring nozzles and intake valves maximizing stealth, while the latest IR reduction features have been incorporated based around thermo nanotechnology to further minimize heat and noise, significantly outpacing 5th generation fighters in IR stealth up to speeds of Mach 2.8 and matching late model F-22s IR super cruise profile at Mach 3.5.

Stealth Features: The Sino Fighter II relies on a multi-layered defensive approach to survivability. Without the retractable switch blade maneuvering canards deployed, the F-2 is considerable more stealthy than 5th generation fighter aircraft and has about a 10% larger forward RCS profile than the F-1 Quantum. However, with the retractable stealth canard control software deployed this raises to about 35%. The Sino-Fighter II employs extremely sensitive detection software as its entire skin functions both as extremely advanced RAM (similar to the F-1 Quantum). This serves a dual function of being a 'sniffer' for enemy sensors. A combination of onboard and secure cloud computing provides rapid responses to detect even low probability of intercept radar such as the latest fielded AESA radar. Additionally the plane is outfitted with a chameleon visual system similar to the F-1 Quantum. This gives it the ability to assume colors similar to its surrounding giving it the edge against both visual and electronic optical and image recognition technology.

We have begun work on a scalable system for such weapons, at the moment the most promising system is on larger armored vehicles. We are currently using diesel and gas electric hybrid vehicles for testing as this provides the most promising combination of endurance and power.

We believe we will also have an improved individual power pack done within one year that can be deployed to individual armor providing increased power at the same weight, thus eliminating the added drain active armor places on the combat suit.
The United Federation of the East offers the EF-50 'Siberian Banshee' at 115 million bancors.
Name: EF-50 Siberian Banshee
Unit Type: Long Range Stealth Interceptor/ Electronic Warfare Craft

Specifications:
Crew: 2 (1 Pilot, 1 Gunner)
Range: 5000 nmi
Combat Radius: 2800 nmi
Engines: 2 Turbo-Fan Thrust Vectored Engines
Speed: Mach 3.0
Super Cruise: Mach 2.2*
*Speed improved by the removal of electronics with photonics

Avionics: The EF-50 is one of the larger fighter aircraft in the Chinese arsenal. As such it makes extensive use of its size to carry a much more powerful onboard computer, radar systems, and electronic warfare suite. The EF-50 uses a 360-degree phased array AESA radar and synethic aperture radar with one of the longest ranges of any fighter sized aircraft in service. Additionally the Siberian Banshee uses limited technology developed for the latest generation of UFE fighters to make a improved skin sensor. This allows it to detect enemy forces far before they detect it. Because the radar is difficult to jam it is extremely hard for an enemy force to evade the EF-50. Its larger size allows its radar to be at a higher bandwidth, as well as be configured for multiple spectrum including newer ones. The EF-50 in a group with its own or other USC planes can act as a multi-static radar to detect enemy stealth planes. Its 360 degree coverage allows it to shoot from any direction and get side look at stealth and RCS craft. Further the EF-50 Siberian Banshee has replaced traditional electronics completely with photonics allowing for an upgrade in computer and sensor power, while being more resistant to jamming and cyber attacks itself.

The EF-50 has some of the best infrared and LIDAR detection systems. It is capability of hitting enemy aircraft vulnerable to infrared detection from some of the furthest ranges of any aircraft fighter size.

The EF-50 has an extensive cyber and electronic warfare suite built for jamming enemy ship, ground, and air based sensors. This allows it to act as an EWAC while still being able to carry out combat missions with other fighters. The plane is capable of focusing its radar systems to make directed energy attacks against the circuitry of enemy missiles and fixed radar and SAM emplacements.

Stealth: The EF-50s diamond wing and stealth shape makes it a highly stealth aircraft. In addition its electronic warfare systems help protect it against detection by other enemy aircraft and surface defenses. It is designed against all bands of radar currently in use today and its engines have been designed to reduce the IR signature of the plane. It is covered in nano-tech based RAM material, which is an upgraded to include limited body based sensors increasing jamming capability, and providing for greater heat resistance during super sonic flight, thus improving the plane's stealth endurance over previous EF-50 models while making it more resistant to detection from high to low frequency radar. The planes stealth features are compromised mainly when it uses its internal weapons bays (although its stealth returns within seconds after they close).

Maneuverability: The EF-50s large airframe makes it one of the less maneuverable aircraft around. This is somewhat offset though by its thrust vectoring. The craft has the ability to out climb and outrun almost all dog fighters, however, its turning capability is somewhat less than those who share a thrust vectoring capability. It is designed to be a long range craft though, and because of its superior speed, stealth, and jamming abilities, can typically avoid dog fighting and win a missile engagement.

Weapons:
12 Internal Weapons Bays (can carry larger longer range anti-air missiles most fighters cannot internally)
6 external optional outfittings
1 25 mm Internal Gatling Cannon
Briefing Memo on Status of UFE Global Readiness:
From: The Office of the Executor, Sub Branch Strategic Planning
To: The Office of the August Imperator, For the Imperator's Personal Attention

Update on Strategic Infrastructure and Logistical Readiness:

The United Federation of the East in completing the final stages of its fall out shelter system has stockpiled large amounts of critical ammunition, fuel, parts, and key materials for manufacturing in underground areas for emergency wartime continuation of conventional war in strategic nuclear conditions. Further many key military and dual assembly lines have been moved to a maximum reasonable extent to underground areas capable of withstanding thermonuclear war.

Further the United Federation of the East is reinforcing stockpiling 5 billion dollars of key war making components in each of the following areas Hawaii, Guam (reinforcing existing stockpiles), Greenland FOB, Singapore (reinforcing existing stockpiles), Alaska (reinforcing existing stockpiles), Portugal, and Crete.

Further massive strategic reserve rare earth mineral stockpiles, which would be hard to obtain if the UFE was ever cut off would be forward positioned to Athens, Novak, Greater Nordlandic Empire of Dalmatia, and Rebel Army through the Sovereign Initiative economic cooperation program.

Update from the People's Liberation Navy:

With increasing efficiency in the UFE transporation fleet and output from our South China Sea fields and Alaska, the UFE has temporarily suspended civilian access to the synthetic coal based petroleum fields and has begun plans to quadruple the size of the strategic petroleum reserve including establishing a separate one for Alaska.

Finally following the UFE Naval Auxillary Build Up, the UFE prepositioning ship fleets in the Med, Arabian Sea, and Portugal would be doubled.

We report two of the five MOBs completed with two more on the way to being finished.

We are estimated to be at 100 Type 022 boats will be operational by months end with an estimation of 250 now being the final number through savings in production costs.

Our second Prince Gong Carrier is expected to be commissioned within the month.

Update from the People's Liberation Armaments Department:

Having increased the war stockpiling back to pre-limited global war levels, the UFE arsenal of conventional weapons, along with tactical nuclear weapons is to be expanded by an additional 200 percent with the end goal of 20, 000 tactical cruise missiles, 5, 000 naval cruise missiles, 5, 500 tactical land to land ballistic missiles, 1, 800 anti-ship ballistic missiles.

Additionally 200 of the latest thermo-baric warheads on ICBMs are expected to soon reach battle operational readiness putting us at 50% of our goal for strategic conventional assault. We estimate to have at least 120 of the global hypersonic cruise missile completed, with an end goal of 360 maintained with the capability of doubling that in wartime quickly.

Update from the People's Liberation Air Force:

Production has begun at full rate on the F-2 now and it is expected to rapidly join the F-1 in service. We estimate the UFE will field by years end 240 sixth generation fighters and achieve maximum production rates shortly after that. Bomber and AWAC conversions are coming along extremely well.

Update from Civilian Armaments Ministery:

Transition to photonic based society from electronic one is moving at a rapid clip, our military is already mostly there. We expect key infrastructure will follow shortly.

Appearing in the lasted issue of Renminbao a rare OP-Ed by the August Imperator himself was prominently featured at the top of the editorial page. Since the withdrawal from the Red Dawn Treaty, Jia had not published an ideological editorial making it a particularly noteworthy commentary both on internal UFE and global politics:
From the Papers of the August Imperator: Denunciation of Ethno-centrism and the Triumph of Zeonic Thought

Comrades, in building true meritocratic socialism we must concentrate on the evils which permeate from the reactionary regimes both around the world and lying in wait within ourselves. These regimes are not just political entities but bodies of knowledge, ideas, and assumptions which have haunted humanity since the dawn of time. Indeed much of the darker aspects of our religious doctrine are based on perpetuating reactionary power through division so as to distract the common man from the material conditions which truly adversely effect his life. I am of course speaking of the evils of ethno-centrism and prejudice.

Zeonic Ideology teaches us that this is a poison. While we as good socialists support the preservation of all cultures and the appreciate of their value, we look down upon those who attempt to morph this auspicious virtue into a divisive one. It has been generations since we, the Free Peoples of Asia fought and smashed the Japanese Fascists in the Second Sino-Japanese War, and were part of a larger war against all global fascism, but we cannot forget the underlying beginnings of Japanese fascism. It was to strengthen Japan and all of Asia against the European Imperialist Threat! There was afterall a time when Sun Yat-sen and others lived and learned from the Japanese. Poisonous reactionary thought however lead the Japanese to morph their message of pan-asian liberation into one of pan-asian oppression. We also can look in Europe and see trends that are equally disturbing, indeed we can see them around the world. Even China, the world's first multi-cultural and multi-ethnic civilization has at times succumbed to the evils of Han Nationalism at the expense of what is truly Chinese: our Great Tradition and the Confucian virtue of ren (humaneness).

Therefore I must call on all citizens of the United Federation of the East to join me in steeling yourselves from the evils of reactionary ethno-centrism and its poisons. We must remember that though we are now strong, it is because we have embraced others as equals even comrades. The Vietnamese, the Ryukyu Islanders, the Laotians, the Cambodians, the Thai, the Malaysians, and even some Europeans such as the Imperatrix and the Executor who have eagerly embraced our civilization's glorious ways. We look to the example of our greatest teacher Confucius and embrace one of his first sayings: "Is it not joyful to have friends come from afar?"

I therefore commit to the people's of the United Federation of the East today, that the United Federation of the East will both within our internal community of nations and abroad seek to oppose ideologies, not which are proud of their heritage for everyone should be, but those who seek to use it as a dividing line for power. For when we truly judge people by their moral character and learnedness alone we will have taken a major step forward on building our Harmonious Socialist Society.

-August Imperator Jia
In response to a increase in requests and speculation of UFOs created by the flying of the B-10 and F-1 series combat planes, the United Federation of the East would early announce their new replacement for the increasingly dated shuttle fleet.
The United Federation of the East is proud to announce that it has replaced its rocket boostered power space shuttle fleet with conventional take off scram jet space re-orbital re-entry vehicles: the S-1 Space Plane. This space plane has been tested on several occasions, and is proven to be able to achieve massive speeds within the upper reaches of the Earth's atmosphere using scram jet power.

This new technology will greatly increase the flexibility of the UFE space program, allowing for conventional air ports to be serviced as a space port.

This plane is designed both to be capable of carrying satellites into orbit and docking with most major lunar bases, space elevators, and space stations. Additionally the UFE will be constructing its own space station is the end goal of being able to function as a logistical center and refueling station for a UFE space fleet able to harvest key natural resources and engage in space exploration and trade alongside Sri Lanka, Cochin, Rebel Army, Athens, and other major space powers we have friendly relations with.

Four S-1s with a total of sixteen planned were to enter the UFE Civilian Space Agency's fleet. More classified an additional fleet of six current and twenty total would enter into the military which were equipped with highly sophisticated sensor technology and capable of supplementing or acting as secondary space C4+ISR force able to operate in environements where an enemy is equipped with plentiful anti-satellite weapons.

Foreign Order Construction Updates:

30% of the Burmese Air Units have been delivered with F-1 Squadrons replacing most of the F/A-47 Ds in the order that had been in the UFE air force. Additionally 60 of these had been secretly converted to the F/A-47-E which was not yet publicly announced.

20% of the Burytia order was completed.

10% of the Ursalian order was completed.

Construction began on the Finnish Order.

The Tahoe Production line was officially closed up along with the Cascadian Production Lines, both being converted to F-2 production.

Highly Classified:

The Tactical Aircraft Missile a new multi-mission missile system had begun its initial introduction on both the F-1 Squadrons and the few F-2 squadrons that had entered service. Extraordinarily advanced, the missile is a test bet for multiple new projects for the UFE, increasing its low atmosphere long range strike capability. Noteworthy on the weapon are both its photonic jamming resistant technology and high broad band data capacity, but more importantly combat testing a totally new technology. The stabilizers and body are equipped with morphing materials which allow for it to bend. Additionally it has an outer air jet skin which acts in similar fashion to a bird's feathers. These combine factors reduce drag dramatically. Additionally the composite body is paired with microspheres fused internally cutting weight by a significant margin. The combined effect of this is a weapon which can execute both incredible turns, and enjoy long range and high speed (Mach 8 maximum on a linear air to ground path, Mach 6 air to air). It is estimated that the first generation of this missile can perform anti-ground and navy hypersonic strikes at 500 nmi stand off range, and anti-air at 300 nmi with intense maneuvering at 250 nmi. Further, because the missiles high broadband capability as well as its on-board increase processing, its intelligence in defeating conventional counter measures and jamming, as well as out-flying enemy pilots is estimated to be extreme. Lastly, the unit has maximized forward stealth and a rear S IR masking feature minimizing detection or capability of lock on (side look was deemed to potentially adversely effect drag, and there is little chance of catching the missile anyways).

Backwards compatibility is estimated to be achieved for the high end blocs of the legacy tactical air craft shortly. A similar concept is being tested for ground based forces.

Additionally several technologies tested on the missile, was expected to possibly be incorporated onto the F-1 and F-2 Block II and overtime backwards compatible to Block I if proven successful and compatible with stealth, especially internal body construction and skins.

Defense Logistical Updates:

The B-9 Grim Reaper III had four prototypes complete. Two were sent to the Union of the Southern Cross for testing.
Name: B-9 III ‘Grim Reaper’
Unit Type: Super sonic ultra-low observation strategic bomber
Unit Specifications:
Speed: Mach 2.2
Super Cruise: Mach 1.4
Range: 8, 000 nmi
Service Ceiling: 60, 000 feet
Stealth Features:

The B-9 is a wing design aircraft designed for maximum stealth capabilities. Its severely reduced its heat, acoustic, infrared, and radar profiles. Its engines emit minimum noise, and are designed to ensure thermal and infrared detectibility is next to impossible. The radar cross section has been painstakingly designed to minimize its detection. Its two surfaces make it among the lowest RCS in existence for any type of aircraft. The plane has some of the latest in nano-tech radar absorbent material maximizing the stealth features of the craft. The nanotechnology based RAM is capable of adapting to conditions which it finds itself in. Additionally this smart skin acts as a unified sensor which can provide IR, electro-optical, low probability of intercept arrayed radar, and synthetic aperture radar. With increased information gathering equipment in the skin, combined with internal photonics, the computing power for the B-9 is dramatically increased. This brings the B-9s stand off range, and capability of detecting enemy sensors up considerably. In fact, the B-9s skin sensor was tested considerably against some of the most advanced AESA radar systems the UFE had at its disposal to test, optimizing sensors for detection. Further the powerful suite of sensors can conduct tailored data stream cyber attacks and directed energy jamming attacks against enemy sensor arrays to prevent them from interfering with the B-9s mission.

The aircraft's new airframe and engines are made of composite materials. This decreases the plane's weight per pound and provides added protection against electromagnetic attack. Further compound materials provide a considerably more sophisticated shaping instrument increasing the plane's stealth characteristics. It also substantially reduces IR and acoustics. The plane's smart materials further round out the detection package by providing active visual camouflage to minimize chance of optical detection.

Sensors:

The plane makes use of a unified skin sensor radar system which operates on X and L Bands and has been developed for extremely low probability of intercept. Further it is equipped with interfaced
The bomber also has full network into the Chinese defense network and capable of providing SAR coverage both from it and other aircraft and satellites. Further its unified skin sensor produces both electro-optical and LIDAR coverage.

Meaning it can pull up data from other units sensors as well as satellites.

Weapons:

3 Internal Mounted Long Range Rotary Air to Surface Missile Launchers: Shoots 4 long range ER-M-51 or ArcLight Carriage Legacy Long Range Cruise Missiles (3000 or 2300 nmi range) OR 10 NGTAM (550 nmi range)
2 AEW-ECW Drones
1 HEMW Directed Energy Weapon
==================================================================================

With the initial production and testing completed on the first F-1 and F-2 Blocks, production would begin on the second blocks which would incorporate greater flex materials micro sphere construction, further reducing the weight internally, while providing a slightly more sturdy outer shell thus increasing the survivability of the air craft. Further the flex materials could change shape decreasing drag and thus increasing fuel efficiency as well as sub sonic maneuverability and loitering capability for dog fights and close air support roles.

Additionally the NG tactical aircraft missile has begun wide spread use amongst the F-1 and F-2 combat aircraft squadrons. Programs are currently underway to upgrade legacy tactical aircraft weapons to learn from the NGTAM's capabilities.

==================================================================================

The second Prince Gong Carrier entered service to replace a Pacific Wolf which was mothballed, the ship has been named Kang Youwei.

Naval procurement has authorized the beginning of a search for an SSBN X, both new designs and proposals to make significant upgrade to the strike capability of the Franco Class Submarine are authorized. The end goal of such a project would be a submarine capable of both nuclear deterrence and a more flexible naval component of the 'Global Prompt Strike' Doctrine.

==================================================================================

10 Fury MBT battalions have been constructed, marking a 50 percent completion of total active procurment goals, with an additional 300 reserve tanks to be constructed for stockpiling.

==================================================================================

Global strategic stockpiling has been mostly achieved, a second round is to begin with 50 percent the current round.

==================================================================================

"We thank you for sending the two prototypes of the newest B-9 Block III production models, we will test these models over the Woomera Restricted Airspace, and limit their contact to only the SCADF Experimental and Testing Air Wing, based at the air base there. We will put them through the motions, and will share collected test data on how they perform with the United Federation of the East. This will allow for a collaborated research on this newest airframe, which we look forward to putting into service with the SCADF and replacing some of our bomber fleet with."

In light of recent threats to MoG[Corp] civilians security, we are interested in purchasing an air force composed of at least 200 Boeing F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet Block 3 'Silent Hornet' from the United Federation of the East to patrol our property and defend MoG[Corp] trade lanes.
