Why? FRA & J Andrean troops control the region, what does it matter if it was his original land or not?

Correction: apparently only the former has troops stationed in Texas now.

You were never authorized to make such LARGE autoadvances, for one. the Autoadvances were supposed to be small.

Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah are part of the American Union. Due to a recent deal, Nevada, the San Fernando Valley and California with the exception of San Luis Obispo, Kern, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Riverside and San Bernardino are now under the control of the American Union.

The map enclosed shows the land split in California with the purple being the red being the Holy American Empire. Please note, however that the San Fernando Valley is not marked on it due to how hard it was to mark it on:

That's fair, however since the beginning of the conflict there were FRA troops within Texas, and a significant portion of the state has been occupied even if we disregard the large advance made in the endgame.

The only horribly large advance I made was into West/North Texas and up into Western Oklahoma (especially considering the state of enemy troops at the time). If we nix that, the FRA still occupies areas to the East of, and including, Austin.

The evidence sits as is- I posted my troops into the land before he created and started this new nation in CNRP, his claims as I understand them are invalid because the land was already claimed.

Which anyone else can contest by declaring war and such. You don't have clear and absolute sovereignty over the land yet, so I wouldn't add it on the map until the matter is settled. Don't take this personally, it's just that it's a policy of the map being updated to show uncontested claims.

Anyone can declare at any time that they contest the claim, IC-wise. Land disputes are part of politics. It's just that circumstances dictate how successfully they will dispute it.

I sometimes make these little errors, just makes things ever more fun, yes? Also, purple would go to me, and even though it isn't labelled on the map, the San Fernando Valley would fall under my jurisdiction as well.
