welshgazza1992
The United Kingdom votes no to the RSSN. Swearing in diplomatic channels? you're obviously not mature enough. - Ryan Giggs HoFA
Mergerberger II
OOC: Seriously? We're going to start doing this now? After people have been 'swearing in diplomatic channels' for years? Good lord. IC: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs official that made that comment has been promoted to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. He has since issued a statement: Belarus sucks. Il Terra Di Agea
Vote: Admission of Valencia To Vote: Kyivan Rus', United Kingdom, Scotland For: 4 Against:0 Abstain:0 Valencia Passes with 100% of the active vote (Kyivan Rus', The United Kingdom, and Scotland abstain by means of failing to vote within five days). We would like to request your signatures at this time so they may be added to the treaty. "As for the issue of Germany (Martens), our feelings are mixed. You have, of late, proven to be both peaceful and relatively stable. However, the actions of Martens and the Nordlanders has, in the past, greatly harmed our people and our allies. That said, this is not a place to discuss or hold old grudges, and clearly, Germany has taken steps to retain its culture while refraining from the rather unpleasant deeds that the culture carries on its shoulders. Norway cautiously votes yes to the admission of Germany into this treaty." VOTE: Admission of Germany To Vote: Kyivan Rus', United Kingdom, For: 3 Against: 1 Abstain:1 Germany needs one vote to pass. After passing of five days, and with 75 percent of the present vote, Germany is hereby a member of PEPTO, save for Article three, which we greatly hope the may sign into at a later time. We would now request your signatures for the document." Edited December 28, 2009 by Il Terra Di Agea
Uberstein
The Republic of Finland believes there should be an intelligence sharing clause, specifically, if one nation finds out that another member is going to be attacked, be it covert or by open war, they will be bound to tell the fellow PEPTO nation that such an action may happen. comrade nikonov
We believe such a clause is a natural extension of the spirit of cooperation in PEPTO. The Federal Union of Belarus and Moldova votes yes.

Uberstein
The Republic of Finland, due to recent actions of the EU, suggest a clause that should any PEPTO nation fall into anarchy, their land will become a PEPTO protectorate, unless overridden by another treaty, such as the Iberian Pact or the personal wishes of the fallen nation’s government. comrade nikonov
"The Federal Union of Belarus and Moldova wholeheartedly supports the proposal, although care should be taken so that this clause is written as to be automatically inferior to regional agreements." OOC: pretty much we should have a clause, but it needs to make clear that regional agreements between nations should take priority over PEPTO administration. The Iberian pact works because its all in one small region.

comrade nikonov
The Federal Union of Belarus and Moldova would like to inform its friends and partners that it has suffered a breach in Ventspils. A spy from Soviet Russia broke into our port facility and attempted to steal a nuclear device, but when his attempts failed he opened fire on port guards, killing one and injuring six before he was gunned down. We have contacted the government of Soviet Russia about this, and well, you'd better look at it yourselves. //Declassified// Classified, Encrypted 31b TO: Government of Soviet Russia From: Defense Ministry of the Federal Union of Belarus and Moldova Subject: URGENT BREACH MESSAGE: Government, we have received information from Ventspils that a Soviet Russian spy, disguised as a traveler, somehow bribed his way into the Naval Base of Ventspils, and attempted to illegally procure (steal) a nuclear device from our secure (OOC: lolsecure) bunkers. After he exposed himself to security, he opened automatic rifle fire upon the guards, killing one and injuring many. He received, and died of, returned fire. Please explain yourselves. And their response: Classified, Encrypted 31b TO: Defense Ministry of the Federal Union of Belarus and Moldova From: Government of Soviet Russia Subject: RE: URGENT BREACH MESSAGE: We have no idea what you're going on about. If you want answers, you'll need to capture Comrade General Vasily Goltner and ask him. In short, "come and get us". We inquire as to whether an armed intervention will be acceptable to international stature and custom.
