Agostinho Neto
(ENGLISH - INGLESE) COLONIAL GOVERNMENT OF ITALIAN SOMALIA ACT On the establishment of the Somalia Free State (Italian: Stato Libero della Somalia; Somali: Jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliya) The Colonial Government of Italian Somalia, in order to ensure the sovereignty of the Somali people and avoid occupation by foreign forces, expressing the will of the nation and President Junio Borghese, decrees and solemnly proclaims that the execution of the sovereign powers of the Free State of Somalia, is established, and henceforth Somalia is now a sovereign state. The territory of Somalia is whole and indivisible state and the constitution of the Italian Republic is valid on it until a Constituent Assembly is democratically elected. Siad Barre is the Provisional head of Government and Junio Borghese is the Provisional Head of State. The Free State of Somalia stresses its adherence to universally recognized principles of international law, recognizes the principle of inviolability of borders, and guarantees human, civil, and ethnic community rights. The Supreme Council of the Free State of Somalia, expressing sovereign power, by this Act begins to realize the complete sovereignty of the state. OOC: Before you all shout "OMG TWO NATIONS!!11oneoneone!!11eleven!!111!1!11!!!!11", this is a political entity i will roleplay for a while, if lasts long enough, until i call for elections in January and a decent roleplayer who follows the style of Rhodesia or Transvaal shows up) Edited December 7, 2009 by Junio Borghese

It was scheduled, but these people are too immature and hypocritical to understand the ammount of effort and commitment that transforms an anrchist wasteland into a first world country. We know the Somali Government, presided over by Colonel Siad Barre, will do well after the important experience with the Italian colonial administration, whose members will either decide if return to Italy or stay in Somalia and continue their assistance and construction task. We will not stop infrastructure building in Somalia, because despite what the hypocritical nations of Rebel Army and Mechodamia think, we want the best for the Somali people, and granting the country full sovereignty is still a better choice if compared to an unconditional surrender to these foreigners who know nothing about the life in Somalia and the needs of the Somali people. With Siad Barre, the future of Somalia is bright and full of hope.. with the Mechodamians, it's uncertain.

Nagato the Great
"The GDR hopes that the UMS will see reason and allow this independent Somalian state to continue existing." Of course it will. The UMS's only concern (as far as I know) was European nations holding African land.
Vedran
"Arctica commends Italy for giving the people of Somalia a chance to be free of European colonialism and to show that they can determine their own fate in such a way that will prove that an independent Somalia does not have to be defined by rampant poverty and conflict. Furthermore, the shipping restrictions formerly placed upon Italian Somalia do not affect a sovereign Somalia and Somalian ships are free to travel to Madagascar now." Without our efforts, there would be a desertic wasteland with a favela-like city called Mogadiscio in the center.

SpacingOutMan
[OOC: Erm, what? Are you giving up the land or are you controlling two states?] The UMS will not attack or deploy against any Italian ship moving in humanitarian intentions. We are glad that this issue could be resolved, though you may believe it to be outlandish thuggery. Our intentions were to rid of Africa European influences, which so happened to die with your removal of power over your lot of Somalia. The UMS has no intention of annexing the land, though instead of move to place it under UMS, yes UMS or even Aphrike, protectorate-ship. It could be titled many other things, but the point of the matter is that the land needs to be protected so that a new sovereign government can arise. We will not infringe upon any government uprising, and we will pursue no action to quell any government that wishes to form to lead Somalia into a new era. We do understand that Italy rebuilt the land and its infrastructure, and we are offering 50 billion Mechas [OOC: 1 Mecha ~ 1 Pound] in compensation to ease at least some of the financial burden. If someone could please clear this up for me I'd be very appreciative. OOC: The correct definition is "Self-governing unincorporated territory of the Italian Republic", like Puerto Rico with the United States. So they are not two nation, one nation - Repubblica Italiana, and two government bodies, one for the Peninsula, and one for Somalia, renamed "Stato Libero della Somalia", I just roleplaying the colony, calling it with another name and giving it more autonomy. Somalia is still under partial jurisdiction of Somalia because the Italian constitution is valid on it. IMHO, is still a better roleplay than just land grabbing some territory and never roleplay any changes and scenarios, at least i have deeply roleplayed the development of Somalia. The Free State of Somalia will be defended by the Italian Army until we will find the resources and the funds to create a local army ((OOC: When some decent roleplayer shows up and gets the land)). We know exactly what to do and we don't need any advice on the matter, we built this nation alone and we will continue to do so until Somalia will be ready for independence. Agostinho Neto
The former Italian Somalia land should be given to Italica since they are an African-based power currently being expelled from their own sovereign nation in Africa. The problem is that the democracist nation of Rebel Army does not like Italica for their fascist form of Government. They wouldn't let them control Italian Somalia with the same political system, and Italicans are not willing to give up. Under Italian administration, Somalia had 2 months of brotherly love and peace, now that these parodies of nations decided to grab more land from sovereign and prosperous nations, saber rattling has taken the lead. Unfortunately Italica is a bit of a 'bind' right now. To cede the land to Italica would only render it nullified by the Rebel Army and Novak. Also, does that mean the Italian Republic isn't giving up the land? [OOC: Tad bit confused, clarification would be cool]

Botha
Unfortunately Italica is a bit of a 'bind' right now. OOC: I was being sarcastic. I simply don't like how someone is essentially being railroaded out of RP due to someone else's dislike of their RP. It isn't like UMS or Rebel Army *need* the land. We need more RPers, not less. If Italica is looking to relocate, they are willing to relocate under my protection to Southern Angola where fascism can thrive in peace.
